Again?! ‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Tommie Lee Has Been Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ fave Tommie Lee is in trouble with the law…again.

She’s was arrested for disorderly conduct.

via TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Tommie was busted early Monday morning in Atlanta outside of the Royal Peacock club after a cop told her to get out of the roadway where he was directing traffic … and she allegedly ignored his instructions and got belligerent.

The tipping point … cops say Tommie struck a nearby valet working for the venue in the head, and that’s when officers made their move to detain her. We’re told the valet didn’t want to press charges, but cops arrested Tommie anyway and booked her for disorderly conduct while under the influence.

It’s unclear what cops think she was on, but booze could spell big trouble — as in, jail time — for Tommie. Just 2 months ago a judge ordered her to wear an alcohol monitoring device, and stay out of trouble.

She’s definitely failed on at least one front.

Florida Woman Arrested For Driving Down Highway With Ex-Boyfriend on Hood

Remember that video that went viral of a car flying down the highway, with a man on the hood? Well, the woman at the wheel of the whip has been arrested.

Did we even have to tell you where she was from?

Reports 10TV.com:

A woman is behind bars after she allegedly sped down a South Florida highway with a man on the hood of her car.

CBS Denver identified the suspect as Patresha Isidore. Isidore allegedly drove off with a car belonging to her ex-boyfriend, Junior Francis, last Sunday.

According to an arrest report, Francis climbed on the hood in an attempt to stop Isidore. However, police say she continued driving, eventually getting onto Interstate 95.

Isidore drove with Francis on the hood for about 19 miles before she was stopped, according to police.

NINETEEN MILES. Bruh!

But here’s the kicker, Francis reportedly doesn’t want to press charges.

Battered man? Guilt because he did some f*cksh*t that warranted this “lesson”? Florida Man and Florida Woman having an understanding?

Whatever the reason, the struggle is real. Also, keep both of them off the road, people besides themselves could get hurt.

Lastly, by the looks of her mugshot—what else has she done?

Wedding Deejay Arrested for the Brutal 1992 Rape and Murder of School Teacher Christy Mirack

Pennsylvania police made an arrest in the death of school teacher Christy Mirack 25 years after her murder.

Raymond “DJ Freez” Rowe, 49, was arrested on Monday afternoon at his home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and was charged with criminal homicide.

Mirack was 25 years old and a sixth-grade teacher at Rohrerstown Elementary School. She was found dead in her home on December 21, 1992. Her death rocked her community and has remained a cold case for over two decades.

“The killer was at liberty for this brutal crime longer than Christy Mirack was on this earth alive. His apprehension was long overdue,” Lancaster District Attorney Craig Stedman told reporters at a press conference Monday.

Mirack was found dead in her home by the principal of her school who went to her home as he was concerned when she did not show up for work.

According to the District Attorney, the young teacher has been sexually assaulted, her clothes were pushed down from her waist, her shirt pushed up and it was clear a struggle had taken place.

Mirack was wearing her jacket and gloves and that, combined with scuff marks, led authorities to believe she had been dragged back into the home, Stedman said.

Mirack was strangled to death but she sustained a “brutal beating” to the point her “face was distorted,” he added.

At the time, authorities took a DNA sample from her body and the carpet underneath the body, which had fluids from the alleged attacker.

For years authorities did not find a match to that DNA. But, according to Stedman, that changed when the DNA sample was matched to a relative of Rowe who had uploaded their DNA to a database on genealogy website GEDmatch – the same site which was involved in the Golden State Killer’s arrest.

However, that alone was not enough for an arrest, so the deejay was put under surveillance. In late May, undercover investigators collected used chewing gum and a water bottle they claim Rowe used while working as a deejay at an event at a school, Steadman said at the press conference.

• Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Click here to get breaking crime news, ongoing trial coverage and details of intriguing unsolved cases in the True Crime Newsletter.

Police concluded the DNA found in the gum and bottle were a match to the DNA taken from the scene, he added.

Stedman also said Rowe “was not on our radar” as the alleged killer before his arrest.

Rowe works as a deejay predominately at weddings, school proms and has even worked at charity events raising money to help female victims of violence.

However, he also claims to have worked as a deejay for celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Brooke Hogan, as well as at events featuring Sting, The Eagles and Kenny Kravitz, according to his website.

Rowe is currently being held in Lancaster County Prison and is not eligible for bail.

This isn’t the first time an arrest in a cold case was made after DNA was submitted to a genealogy site. California police arrested former police officer Joseph James DeAngelo for crimes he committed as the notorious Golden State Killer in April.

A police source told PEOPLE at the time that DeAngelo was caught through “sophisticated” DNA analysis, but said he was not on the radar of police. At the press conference, police said DeAngelo was linked to DNA evidence six days before his arrest.

Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones said that authorities surveilled DeAngelo and recovered “discarded DNA” that allegedly confirmed the suspect’s connection to the killings.

Former NFL Player Kellen Winslow Jr. Has Been Arrested on Rape Charges

(ENCINITAS, Calif.) — Former NFL tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. has been arrested on charges of rape and other sex crimes on the day he was to appear in court on an unrelated burglary charge.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports sheriff’s deputies arrested Winslow on Thursday at his home in the San Diego suburb of Encinitas.

The 34-year-old Winslow was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping with intent to commit rape and single counts of forcible sodomy, oral copulation and indecent exposure. He’s free after posting $ 50,000 bail.

Defense attorney Brian Watkins declined to comment to the Union-Tribune.

Winslow was due to appear in court Thursday after being charged with burglary following an incident last month at a mobile home park. He now faces arraignment Friday.

The son of Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow, the younger Winslow spent 10 seasons in the NFL from 2004-13 with Cleveland, Tampa Bay, New England and the New York Jets. The former University of Miami star had 469 catches for 5,236 yards and 25 touchdowns in 105 games.

Once NFL’s highest-paid tight end, he was suspended in 2013 with the Jets for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. In November 2013, he was arrested after a woman told police she saw him masturbating in a parked car outside of a New Jersey department store. Winslow was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana, and the charge was dropped after he completed court-ordered terms.

Drafted No. 6 overall by Cleveland, he broke his right leg in his rookie season, then sustained a serious right knee injury in a motorcycle accident that offseason.

Florida Mom Missing Since Mother’s Day Is Presumed Dead — and a Suspect Is Arrested in the Case

Florida police have arrested a woman in connection with the disappearance of a mom-of-three who didn’t pick up her children on Mother’s Day and hasn’t been seen since.

At a news conference on Tuesday afternoon, Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said investigators arrested 50-year-old Kimberly Kessler — who authorities allege was the last person to see 34-year-old Joleen Jensen Cummings alive, according to local TV station WJXT.

Kessler, a co-worker at Tangles Hair Salon with Cummings, is charged with grand theft auto, First Coast News reports. She is also a suspect in Cummings’ disappearance, authorities said Tuesday.

She is being held in lieu of $ 500,000 bond.

Leeper said investigators have evidence to suggest that Cummings is dead but would not release it at this time.

Cummings was last seen leaving her job at Tangles in Fernandina Beach at 5 p.m. on May 12. She was supposed to meet up with her ex-husband in Hilliard on Mother’s Day to pick up her kids but she never showed up. Her mother, Anne Johnson, reported her missing on May 14.

Her beige 2006 Ford Expedition was discovered May 15 in the parking lot of a Home Depot near the salon in Yulee.

That same day, police went to the salon to speak with Kessler, but she didn’t show up to work from that point forward — and the address she had given to her boss was fake, police allege.

• Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Click here to get breaking crime news, ongoing trial coverage and details of intriguing unsolved cases in the True Crime Newsletter.

Later, investigators discovered surveillance video from 1:17 a.m. on May 13 that showed Kessler, who worked at the salon that day and had been employed there for about one month, parking Cummings’ SUV.

Police found Kessler, who went by the alias Jennifer Sybert, at a truck stop on May 16, First Coast News reports.

Police said Kessler is from Pennsylvania and had been using a fake social security number.

On Sunday, Cummings’ mother Anne Johnson posted an emotional message to Facebook about her missing daughter. “When parents shed tears about their children, I believe with all my heart that God hears those prayers of lament, and all of us can agree that when our kids hurt and go through difficulties that we as a parent shed tears,”

“Today is the 7th day we are without my daughter,” she continued. “Today is 7 days her children are without their mother. Today is 7 days that her brother and sister are without their sister. Today is 7 days that her close friends are without their friend. Let’s bring Joleen home!”

It was not immediately clear if Kessler has retained an attorney.

95-Year-Old Grandmother Arrested For Slapping Granddaughter With A Slipper

With all of the violent criminals running around rampant who have yet to be arrested and punished for their crimes, it sounds even more ridiculous that a grandmother was arrested for disciplining her granddaughter.

CBS News has all the details about the arrest of 95-year-old Hattie Reynolds, a Florida grandmother who was attempting to discipline her unruly granddaughter when she allegedly hit her with a slipper. According to reports, Reynolds was the one who called the police because she needed help trying to control her granddaughter following an argument.

Via CBS News:

A 95-year-old Florida woman landed in jail after calling police for help during an argument with her defiant granddaughter. Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri tells the Daytona Beach News-Journal that Hattie Reynolds probably wasn’t a threat, but her admission of slapping her granddaughter in the face with a slipper qualified as domestic violence.

An arrest report says Reynolds told police Saturday that she wanted 46-year-old Janeen Williams out of her house because she was in bed soaking up the air conditioning Reynolds pays for. When Williams began screaming and swearing at her, Reynolds said she slapped her with the slipper.

While her arrest was totally uncalled for, there was a positive outcome to the situation. Reynolds was placed in jail for the night, however according to police records she was released on her own recognizance.

The Challenge’s Tori Hall ‘Livid’ After Brad’s GF Britni Is Arrested for DUI

The Challenge drama has continued outside the house. Britni Thorton, who was most recently seen on The Challenge: Vendettas was arrested for DUI on Saturday, April 14, just before 8 p.m. ET, Us Weekly can confirm.

The reality star was charged in Columbia County, Georgia, with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as Failure to Maintain Lanes.

Thorton, 26, is currently in a relationship with Challenge vet Brad Fiorenza. Fiorenza, 37, has two children with ex-wife Tori Hall, who he met on The Challenge. When a fan tweeted the news to Hall, she responded, “I’m livid. There is no excuse ever to drink and drive. Ever.”

Thorton recently shared with Us Weekly that she has met Hall, as well as she and Brad’s two kids, Brady, 6, and Chase, 3.

“I met his whole family in Chicago. Something came up and he had to see his ex-wife and I got to meet them,” the Are You the One? vet told Us in March. “The kids are absolutely beautiful and I met Tori. We had a great meeting and I wouldn’t change anything about the way we met. She’s great. She handled her own and was very womanly about it. I couldn’t imagine being in that type of situation so from my point of view — I’m not a parent — she stood her ground, but was very kind at the same time. She’s a protective mama bear and such a sweetheart.”

Hall, 31, also spoke with Us about her ex’s relationship with Thorton.

“Here’s the deal: they just have more in common. He’s a fun guy. We met really young. I was 20 years old when I met him, and I grew up with him,” the former pageant queen told Us in January. “I gave him a decade of my life, a third of my life. When we grew up and realized the things that we wanted in life, we agree on nothing. The only thing we agree on is our two kids, which is sad. He probably is a better fit for her.”

Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report the news.

Orlando Brown Gets Arrested And Shackled By Bounty Hunters

Orlando Brown

This is so sad. Former Disney/”That’s So Raven” star Orlando Brown got busted for and outstanding warrant by bounty hunters. They found him in some man’s house in his underwear.

The footage, obtained by TMZ, is from a raid by “Lucky the Bounty Hunter” outfit. It went down in Las Vegas around 6:30am this morning (04-13-18). So yes, Friday the 13th was definitely unlucky for dude. Anyway, it starts with Lucky and his team trying to enter, but getting pushback from the homeowner, who claims they have no legal right

Here’s more from TMZ:

Lucky tells us he had legal paperwork and warrants so they were allowed to enter the home and look for Orlando … so they made it happen by force. After an intense search, they found Brown hiding in a bedroom closet in a t-shirt and boxers and made the arrest.

As we reported … a judge issued a warrant for Brown when he failed to appear in court last month for another case — for allegedly striking his girlfriend last year in Torrance. The owner of the Vegas home tells us he was letting Brown stay there as a favor for a music producer neighbor, but he got concerned about harboring Brown when his fiancee showed up Thursday night … saying he was a fugitive.

The homeowner’s pissed too … he believes his home was entered unlawfully and claims his door was damaged and his shoulder was injured. He plans on contacting authorities soon about the raid to see if his rights were violated.

Check out the footage of the arrest above and below. It’s sad and harrowing. He’s treated like an animal by the bounty hunters. We almost feel sorry for him, but he’s responsible for putting himself in this mess.

Here’s what we reported about that arrest warrant on March 22 …

*Former Disney star Orlando Brown is wanted by police after failing to show for court, reports TMZ.

Court sources say the former “That’s So Raven” star bailed on his scheduled court hearing Wednesday, so the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

Brown’s hearing was for his arrest in January, when a family dispute led cops to discover there was a second active warrant for him, for allegedly striking his girlfriend last year in Torrance.

That arrest resulted in his infamous smiling mug shot.

Starbucks Apologizes After Boycott Erupts Over Video of Black Men Arrested in Philadelphia Store

Starbucks has apologized after a boycott erupted over a video of two black men being arrested inside a Philadelphia store, which led to accusations of racism on social media.

As viral videos of the incident show, officers handcuffed the two men in a Starbucks location in Philadelphia’s downtown district on Thursday.

At one point in the video, a white man can be heard explaining that he was meeting with the men and describing the arrest situation with police officers as “ridiculous.”

Police Commissioner Richard Ross said in a Facebook video that employees at the coffee store called 911 to report two men who were trespassing. Ross explained that the officers were told the two men requested to use the restroom when they came into the store but were denied because they hadn’t made a purchase — a company policy. Ross said the men refused to leave, even when police asked them to depart the premises three times, and that the officers “did absolutely nothing wrong.”

“As an African American male, I am very aware of implicit bias; we are committed to fair and unbiased policing,” Ross said. “If a business calls and they say that ‘Someone is here that I no longer wish to be in my business,’ [officers] now have a legal obligation to carry out their duties and they did just that.”

“We apologize to the two individuals and our customers and are disappointed this led to an arrest,” Starbucks said in a statement shared on Twitter Saturday. “We take these matters seriously and clearly have more work to do when it comes to how we handle incidents in our stores. We are reviewing our policies and will continue to engage with the community and the police department to try to ensure these types of situations never happen in any of our stores.”

Ex-NBA Player Glen “Big Baby” Davis Arrested For Selling Hella Weed

San Antonio Spurs v Los Angeles Clippers - Game Five

Source: Stephen Dunn / Getty

Ex-NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis was arrested for allegedly selling a gang of weed out of a hotel room. The former NBA champion got popped at a Hampton Inn in Maryland.

Per ABC Baltimore, Big Baby actually got pinched last month and that was the start of the struggle.

According to court records, the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from Davis’ room on February 7th.

When the owner knocked on room 208, someone inside the room told him to “F*@# off!”

Aberdeen police then responded to the hotel and Davis gave signed consent to search his room

“They recovered 126 grams of marijuana,” said Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber, “In addition to that there was a brief case that contained 92,164 dollars of U.S. currency along with a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”

The ledger was of names of people of who owed money along with baggies for individual packaging of a quarter pound of marijuana.

The strains were called “Sour D” and “Berry,” all from a Los Angeles wholesaler court records show Davis told police he was in business with.

Davis was eventually charged with seven counts of drug possession and distribution, weeks later.

Big Baby says he is innocent and is due back in court next month. His last NBA action was for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2015.

Since the news is out, Big Baby posted a response. See on the flip (Note: It didn’t really help his cause). But the Popeye’s did look delicious.

Police Have Arrested a Man Accused of Stealing Frances McDormand’s Oscar Trophy

(LOS ANGELES) — A man was arrested and is accused of stealing Frances McDormand‘s Oscars trophy after the Academy Awards on Sunday night, Los Angeles police said.

Terry Bryant, 47, was arrested on suspicion of felony grand theft, said Officer Rosario Herrera, a police spokeswoman.

“After some brief time apart, Frances and her Oscar were happily reunited. They celebrated the reunion with a double cheeseburger from In-N-Out Burger,” McDormand’s publicist, Simon Halls, told The Associated Press.

McDormand received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”

The Oscar statuette was allegedly stolen during the Governors Ball after party, authorities said. Bryant had a ticket for the event, Herrera said.

Bryant was stopped as he was leaving the Governors Ball after a photographer took his picture holding the trophy, police said.

The photographer didn’t recognize him as a winner and began following Bryant. When he was confronted, Bryant handed back the statuette without a fight, police said.

He was detained by security guards at the event and arrested by Los Angeles police officers. The award was later returned to McDormand.

The two-time Oscar winner, who swept trophies at the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, Independent Spirit and BAFTA ceremonies, beat out Sally Hawkins of “The Shape of Water,” Margot Robbie of “I, Tonya,” Saoirse Ronan of “Lady Bird,” and 21-time nominee Streep of “The Post” at Sunday’s Oscars.

In “Three Billboards,” McDormand played Mildred Hayes, a hardened woman seeking justice for her daughter’s murder in the crime drama.

Her first Oscar came for the 1996 film “Fargo,” directed by her husband Joel Coen and his brother Ethan.

Bryant was being held on $ 20,000 bail Monday, police said.

There was no immediate reply to a message sent to one of Bryant’s social media profiles and it wasn’t clear if had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

A video that posted live on a Facebook page that appeared to belong to Bryant showed him kissing and flaunting a statuette during the Governor’s Ball.

“Look it, baby. My team got this tonight. This is mine,” he said, turning the trophy toward the camera, before kissing it on the head.

As he spun around in a circle, Bryant solicited congratulations from those around him.

“Who wants to wish me congratulations?” he asked fellow revelers who were walking by, before posing for several selfies.

“You know what, I can’t believe I got this.”

No one named Terry Bryant won an Oscar on Sunday.

This Day In Black History: Hundreds of Protesters Arrested While Marching for Equal Voting Rights

On this day in black history, over 700 demonstrators, including the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., were arrested as they protested Alabama’s voter registration requirements in 1965. The mass majority of the 768 protesters were black.

They were marching to protest the impediments to voter registration within Selma, and Dallas County as a whole. After being arrested, Sheriff Jim Clark charged the group with “parading without of permit.” That same week, another 150 marchers of mostly high school students were also arrested by Sheriff Clark.

These protests were part of a series of marches to the Dallas County Courthouse led by King and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) throughout the months of January and February of that year. The protests, however, took a drastic turn on Feb. 17 when Jimmy Lee Jackson was shot and killed by an Alabama state trooper during a demonstration. In response, activists organized a protest march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, on March 7, which infamously became known as “Bloody Sunday.”

Later that year, President Lyndon Johnson signed the federal Voting Rights Act on Aug. 6, 1965, which outlawed the discriminatory voting practices across the nation, such as mandatory literacy tests, which were used as a prerequisite to voting.

Hicks “was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with a string of armed street robberies that occurred yesterday morning,” Sgt. Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department in Los Angeles initially told EW over email. Hicks is due in court tomorrow.

According to a news release sent to media in the early afternoon on Thursday, a 52-year-old walking in Burbank was approached by “a male armed with a handgun,” who demanded the victim’s wallet. The elderly gentleman was able to escape safely, but three additional robberies occurred in the same area within minutes of each other as authorities were investigating the first crime.

Tamburo was suspected to have been driving the vehicle “during the commission of the robberies.”

Police were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle as a dark-colored Kia based on descriptions from victims and witnesses. “Officers found property with the vehicle belonging to one of the robbery victims, and additional stolen property in a nearby area,” the press release reads.

Reps for Hicks did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

Before debuting as Diesel on Freakish, a series about high school students battling mutants, Hicks appeared in various movies and television shows — including The Boy Next Door, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Disney’s Pair of Kings and Lemonade Mouth, and Disney XD’s Zeke and Luther.

Florida Man Arrested After Allegedly Leading Cops to Wife’s Dead Body on Day Before Christmas

A Florida man is being held on a second-degree murder charge after police say he allegedly led them to his wife’s dead body on the day before Christmas, PEOPLE confirms.

According to a news release from police in Titusville, Florida, Timothy Allen Upthegrove was already a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife, Lori Lynn Upthegrove, when he allegedly gave police information that directed them to her body early on Sunday.

Police believe Timothy, 53, killed Lori on Dec. 18 when the couple got into an argument at their home in Titusville. Then, according to allegations in the news release, “the victim’s body was placed into the back of her vehicle by her husband and driven to a wooded area.”

Police did not disclose a cause of death. A spokesperson from the Titusville Police Department tells PEOPLE that the case is still under investigation and that more details will be released at a later date.

Lori, 51, was reported missing on Tuesday by a family member.

• Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Click here to get breaking crime news, ongoing trial coverage and details of intriguing unsolved cases in the True Crime Newsletter.

“Based on evidence found both in the home and in her vehicle, detectives believed Lori had been the victim of a violent crime,” police said in the release. Timothy was arrested Tuesday on charges of obstructing justice after he allegedly made false statements to police.

In a statement to the Orlando Sentinel, Timothy’s father, Ed Upthegrove, offered his condolences to Lori’s relatives and said that his family is working with law enforcement.

“Our hearts and prayers go out to Lori’s family and friends during this difficult time,” Ed told the newspaper. “We’re cooperating with investigators as they continue to gather evidence in this case.”

PEOPLE confirms that Timothy is being held in the Brevard County Jail without bail. He has not yet entered a plea, and court records do not indicate if he has retained an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

Former NBA Star Lorenzen Wright’s Ex-Wife Arrested In Connection With His Murder

There’s been an arrest in the murder case of NBA player Lorenzen Wright.

Seven years after Wright’s bullet-riddled body was found decomposing in a Tennessee suburb, Sherra Wright Robinson, his ex-wife, was arrested Friday night in Riverside, Calif., reports Fox13.

“Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! They got her! They got her!’’ Lorenzen Wright’s mother, Deborah Marion, told a reporter. She added: “They need to bury her.’’

Marion said police confirmed the arrest to her. She said got a call from Memphis police and went with her family to police headquarters. Marion says a police official told her Sherra will be charged with first-degree murder.

As we reported earlier, Billy Turner — a deacon at the church Lorenzen and Sherra Wright attended — was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday. He pleaded not guilty.

“It’s just those two right now,’’ Marion said. “But they’re still working on it.’’

Wright, who was 34 when he died, played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Clippers among other teams, was last seen alive on July 18, 2010, as he left his ex-wife’s home.

Here’s what we reported about the case in 2010:

A law enforcement source confirmed to the Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper the body was that of Wright, who has been missing since July 19, though the Memphis Police Department won’t officially comment. Police are referring to their investigation as a “death investigation.”

Wright recently flew from Atlanta to Memphis to visit friends and his six children, friends said.

According to sources, a 9-1-1 call was made from Wright’s cell phone on July 19. A fire dispatcher could hear the loud blasts of several gunshots. The cellphone call ended at that point.
Later it was learned that dispatchers didn’t alert patrol officers or commanders because they couldn’t confirm it came from their jurisdiction. They didn’t send a patrol officer or relay the information to Memphis police until days later.

Wright’s mother filed a missing-person report with Collierville police on July 22, 2010. Authorities in Collierville were accused of dragging their feet in the days after the report was filed, and an apparent lack of communication kept authorities from linking the 911 call to the missing-person report.

Wright’s body was found in a field near some woods, complicating the investigation because evidence had likely deteriorated in the heat of Summer. An autopsy report showed bullet fragments were lodged in Wright’s skull, chest and right forearm.

Ex-Police Chief Who Compared Blacks To ISIS, Arrested By FBI For Hate Crime

Frank Nucera

Retired New Jersey police chief Frank Nucera was arrested and charged by FBI officials on Wednesday for committing a federal hate crime.

Nucera, who presided over the Bordentown police department retired in January after the attorney general of New Jersey caught wind of an investigation launched into the officer.

CNN reports an officer within the department recorded the racist cop’s bigotry for a year and handed the material over to the U.S. Department of Justice. Among the allegations against Nucera was a 2016 arrest in which he used racially motivated excessive force. According to the criminal complaint, the 33-year police veteran reportedly assaulted a Black teenager after arresting him and another young man for allegedly attempting to leave a hotel room without paying.

After the arrest, Nucera reportedly slammed the teen’s head into a metal door jamb.

“I’m f**king tired of them, man,” the 60-year-old was heard saying at the scene. “I’ll tell you what, it’s gonna get to the point where I could shoot one of these motherf**kers. And that n**ger b**ch lady, she almost got it.”

According to the complaint, Nucera was a fan of regularly employing racial slurs and inciting hateful, violent commentary towards the Black community.

“The n**gers are like ISIS, they have no value,” Nucera said to a fellow officer according to an affidavit. “They should line them all up and mow ’em down.”

He was also said to use police dogs to taunt Black people. If convicted, Nucera could face up to 20 years in prison.

Say What Now? Woman Arrested After Getting Caught Sending Her Imprisoned Lover a Meth-Soaked Greeting Card

Amanda Lynn Mollison is heading to prison after getting caught mailing a greeting card soaked in methamphetamine to her man — who was behind bars.

The intended recipient, Justin Brown, was serving time thanks to a nine month sentence for theft and a seven year sentence for evading arrest.

via NYDN:

NBC 5 reported that prison officials recorded phone conversations between Mollison and Brown during which they discussed the making and sending of the card.

In a Sept. 30, 2016, conversation, Brown allegedly asked Mollison “to work on his card tonight.” At the time, he said he “wants to get high.”

On Oct. 4, 2016, Brown reportedly asked Mollison if “she did what he asked her to do.” The following day Mollison confirmed she mailed the card.

According to the outlet, Mollison pleaded guilty to providing contraband in prison. Brown pleaded guilty of possessing said contraband.

Both Mollison and Brown, 39, will serve 51-months in prison.

This sounds like a plotline straight out of ‘Orange Is the New Black.’

Meek Mill Arrested for Reckless Endangerment in NYC

Meek Mill was arrested in New York Thursday night just hours after performing a politically-charged song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

PEOPLE confirms the 30-year-old rapper remains in police custody after being arrested at 10.15pm. He will be spending the night in Central Booking before facing a judge Friday morning.

The former boyfriend of Nicki Minaj was charged with reckless endangerment, a spokesman for the NYPD tells PEOPLE.

Mill was arrested after police saw video on Instagram of the star allegedly riding his quad bike “around the streets of Upper Manhattan” the previous evening.

Authorities allege the rapper was riding his bike in a dangerous manner.

Further video of the hip hop star being arrested surfaced online late Thursday, in which an officer can be heard telling Mill he has video of the star riding “up and down the street.”

The “All Eyes On You” star – born Robert Williams – was leaving a basketball game when he was pulled over while in a car and not on his quad.

Just hours earlier, Mill had performed his new single “YBA (Young Black America)” featuring The-Dream from his new album Wins & Losses.

The track reflects on the challenges of growing up “a black man in America” and issues with being targeted by law enforcement. The song also takes aim at Donald Trump.

Mill’s rep could not be immediately reached for comment.

Say What Now? Stripper Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend in the Eye with a Pen and Shoving a Piece of Wood Down His Throat

Justin Calhoun, stripper who resides in Florida was arrested for allegedly stabbing his boyfriend in the eyes and jamming a broken piece of wood down his throat after an argument.

via NYDN:

Authorities in Key West said they were called to a home early Monday morning following a report of a domestic dispute, ABC 10 reports. When officers arrived they found 67-year-old Mark Brann with a piece of wood in his throat and suffering from stab wounds to his eyes.

He was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center in Miami in serious condition.

Justin Calhoun, who works as a stripper, admitted to police that he attacked Brann, FL Keys News reports. He told authorities that he and Brann had gotten into an argument after he accused Brann of being a cannibal.

Police said Brann responded to the accusations by grabbing a gun and firing it, but no one was hit. Calhoun then grabbed the weapon from Brann and allegedly tried shooting him, but it jammed.

Authorities said that’s when Calhoun grabbed a pen and stabbed his partner in both eyes.

“Calhoun then inserted a piece of broken wood into Brann’s mouth, stood up, and then stomped on the piece of wood to lodge it further down into Brann’s throat,” FL Keys News reports, citing the arrest affidavit.

Calhoun continued to attack Brann, grabbing a dresser drawer and beating the injured man over the head with it. Calhoun said he then grabbed some money, a dress to wear, his backpack and “jumped out of the bedroom window while naked” before police arrived.

He was arrested and faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder. He’s being held at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office jail without bond.

Four People Have Been Arrested in India for Leaking a Game of Thrones Episode

Four people in India have been arrested for leaking a Game of Thrones episode, according to a report by the international news agency Agence France-Presse.

The arrests are in response to the leaking of the hit show’s fourth episode, “The Spoils of War,” which leaked from Star India, one of HBO’s international distributors, a few days before it aired last week.

The four are accused of “criminal breach of trust and computer-related offenses.” The case was filed by a Mumbai-based company responsible for storing and processing GoT episodes for an app, the AFP said.

The leak of the episode is a separate case than the cyber breach of HBO by a hacker, who continued leaking material Sunday night (including episodes of the upcoming return of Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Previously, a Star India spokesperson pledged to take action about the leak: “This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon. We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner’s end to swiftly determine the cause. This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action.”

The leak didn’t seemingly have an impact on the show’s performance in the U.S. — and, in fact, might have actually helped it by generating positive online buzz — as “The Spoils of War” set a ratings record for the network by racking up 10.2 million viewers overnight.

HBO had no comment.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays on HBO.

Teen arrested over hundreds of bomb threats allegedly sold them for $30 on the dark web

TwitterFacebook

An Israeli teenager named Michael Kadar stands accused of sending bomb threats to 245 Jewish Community Centers and schools across the United States. That number — 245 — seems stunningly high, and that might be because he had a list of clients who paid him to make the threats.

What we know from newly unsealed court documents is that Kadar is accused of soliciting his services on AlphaBay, a dark web marketplace where buyers and sellers exchange goods and services that, shall we say, you won’t find on eBay.

The teenager would allegedly email a threat to a school for just 30 bucks, half the price of a newly released video game. He’d add $ 15 to the tab if his client wanted Kadar to frame someone, though the teenager warned potential clients that his “experience” told him that “putting someones name in the emailed threat will reduce the chance of the threat being successful.” Read more…

Empire Actor Morocco Omari Arrested After Girlfriend Accuses Him of Domestic Violence

Empire actor Morocco Omari was arrested this week in Chicago and accused of misdemeanor domestic battery after his girlfriend claimed he shoved her to the ground, police tell PEOPLE.

Omari’s publicist dismissed the allegation as “blatantly false” and said he was “extremely confident” that the actor “will be completely vindicated in this matter.”

Chicago police say they responded to a call about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, where Omari’s 24-year-old girlfriend told officers he had allegedly pushed her down to the ground multiple times during a verbal argument.

The girlfriend said she suffered scratches to her chest and neck, according to police.

Omari, 46, was arrested that same day and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, police said.

Police said he was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, but his publicist tells PEOPLE that Omari has not appeared before a judge to enter a plea.

In a statement, Omari’s publicist said the actor “would like to thank his fans for their support,” adding, “ was brought up by his mother and grandmother and is the proud father of two minor daughters. He has long been an advocate of anti-violence against women.”

“He has never displayed any hint of violence toward women and never will,” the publicist continued. “Violence against women simply isn’t in Omari’s DNA.”

Omari plays Empire‘s Tariq Cousins, an FBI agent and the half-brother of Terrence Howard’s Lucious Lyon.

He has previously appeared on Homeland and Person of Interest, among other series.

Tim Zickuhr Arrested: ‘Ice Road Truckers’ Star Accused of Kidnapping And Beating Prostitute

Tim Zickuhr, one of the drivers on History’s reality TV show “Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads,” is accused of kidnapping, beating and threatening to kill a Las Vegas prostitute named Snow White, according to multiple media reports.

Zickuhr, who appears in the second season of the “Ice Road Truckers” spinoff, allegedly hired the prostitute in December and gave her his ATM card, telling her to withdraw the money for her services, The Hollywood Reporter said, citing court papers.

But she reportedly took out too much money.

I only withdrew the $ 80 I was supposed to and an additional $ 120 that I wasn’t,” Snow White, real name Lisa Cadeau, said in an email to the New York Daily News.

Zickuhr allegedly went door to door looking for Cadeau, she said in her email. When he finally caught up to her, Zickuhr demanded $ 1,000, she said.

At various points during the ordeal that followed, Zickuhr allegedly beat her, tied her up with backpack straps, poured cold water over her from a mop bucket, locked her in a closet and forced her to jump from a second-floor window and onto a carport, according to a police report cited by multiple media outlets.

She told the Daily News that she gave him $ 300. When she couldn’t pay the rest, he demanded the number of someone who could. That’s when Cadeau, who had been a “citizen source” for police, gave him the number of a cop who had told her to call if she was ever in trouble, the Las Vegas Sun reports.

Zickuhr, not knowing he was speaking to a police officer, said that if he didn’t get the money, “he was going to go to Mexico to kill Snow White,” according to an arrest report cited by KVVU-TV.

Then, he put Cadeau on the line.

“Help me, he’s going to kill me,” she reportedly said.

Police say that when arrested, Zickuhr “immediately admitted that he made a mistake,” adding that he had planned to put an ad for her on Craigslist and force her to have sex for money for his benefit, according to the Sun.

Cadeau suffered injuries to her face and arms as well as cuts on her wrist where she had been tied up.

In a promotional video for “Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads,” Zickuhr described himself as “an adrenaline junkie” and said “the action is the juice for me.”

He also called himself an “outlaw,” something that could soon be true in a very literal sense as he faces charges of kidnapping, extortion and coercion.

His next court appearance is scheduled for May 6.
