Hunting World’s Collaboration With Artist Daniel Arsham Hits Stores

American brand Hunting World’s collaboration with New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham is hitting stores.
The exclusive six-item capsule collection will be exclusively available at Comme Des Garçons-owned Dover Street Market stores in London, Tokyo, New York and Beijing, as well as at Kith in Los Angeles and New York, starting from May 26. On the same day both doors will also launch the merchandise on their respective online shops.
The capsule was extended to a full-look offering, in time for its retail debut, although a preview was teased at the brand’s fall men’s show in Milan last January.
The collection features a T-shirt, a hoodie, a baseball cap and a coach jacket along with a duffel bag and a carry-all style, both priced at $ 1,980. With a streetwear and easy attitude, the collection’s items are splashed with both the brand’s and the artist’s logos, the latter coming under the AA tag. The apparel pieces will retail at between $ 140 for the T-shirt and $ 460 for the hoodie.

Now that Daniel Craig is back as Bond, will Monica Bellucci be back as his “girl”? FASHION DEAL UPDATE:

Daniel Craig CONFIRMS he’ll return as James Bond – but claims the next film will definitely be his last

DANIEL Craig has confirmed he will be playing James Bond for the fifth time in new movie Bond 25 – but has also said it will also be his last outing as the spy.

The British actor, 49, made the announcement on US programme The Late Show on Tuesday night, just hours after denying anything was set in stone, due to “personal decisions”.

Daniel Craig will return as Bond one more time

The news comes almost two years after Daniel said he’d “rather slash [his] wrists” that return to the role of 007.

He revealed to the live studio audience that he was offered the role again as soon as shooting wrapped on the latest film Spectre.

Trying to hide a grin, Daniel explained: “Instead of saying something with style and grace, I said something really stupid.”

Asked by host Stephen Colbert what that was, he said “yes”.

After much applause and cheering from the audience, Daniel added: “I think this is it.

“I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait.”

Daniel, who is married to actress Rachel Weisz, will now begin work on the new flick which is due out in November 2019, with director Yann Demange rumoured to be attached.

Daniel is the third oldest actor to play Bond, after Sean Connery, who played him at 53 in Never Say Never Again, and Sir Roger Moore, who played him at 57 in A View To A Kill.

Back in October 2015, Daniel made his famous statement about reprising the role of Bond, telling Time Out: “I’d rather… slash my wrists.

“No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

Craig in the last Bond movie Spectre which came out in 2015

And when he was asked who he felt should take over, he said: “Look, I don’t give a f***.”

However, asked if he may change his mind, he went on to add: “Who the f*** knows?

Spectre: Full trailer for new James Bond movie

“At the moment, we’ve done it. I’m not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.”

Spectre was not well-received by critics in 2015 but made an astonishing £684m at the box office.

Daniel Craig: New Bond movie in 2019

On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Daniel Craig has finally confirmed that he’ll be returning to play James Bond in a new movie. The return was first reported in the New York Times back in July, but Craig has been cagey about his plans until this point.

Daniel Craig Confirms That He Will Return as James Bond

Rejoice, James Bond fans: Daniel Craig is returning as 007!

The 49-year-old actor confirmed the news while on Tuesday’s The Late Show, telling Stephen Colbert, “Yes,” point blank.

“I always wanted to, I wanted a break,” Craig continued, referring to the iconic character that launched him into stardom.

Earlier Tuesday, Craig told Boston radio program Morning Magic 106.7 that “no decision has been made at the moment.”

“There’s a lot of noise out there and nothing official has been confirmed and I’m not, like, holding out for more money or doing anything like that,” Craig said.

“It’s just all very personal decisions to be made at the moment. I know they’re desperate to get going and I would in theory love to do it, but there is no decision just yet.”

Craig expressed reluctance to reprise his role when promoting Spectre in 2015, admitting he couldn’t think about a new Bond film at the time.

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” he told Time Out. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

In 2015, he told The Red Bulletin he was still thinking about returning and said being away from his family (he’s married to Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, and has one daughter from a previous relationship, while Weisz has a son) while filming had taken a toll.

“Yes, it’s always the same question: Which is worse — leaving the party too early, or staying, getting totally drunk and then passing out on the floor?” he asked. “I still don’t know. What I need right now is to stop working, relax and get back to normal life.”

“There’s nothing unusual about that,” he continued. “It’s really horrible not seeing your family for weeks at a time. There’s one thing I actually find more exciting than Bond at the moment: going home.”

Even though he may be a teensy-weensy bit sick of it, Daniel Craig is back as Agent 007 once again.

The British actor confirmed he would return to the role on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, ending speculation there would be a changing of the guard — for now.

Craig explained to Colbert that he had been sitting on the Bond decision for “a couple of months.” He’ll be back at it in James Bond 25, set to release in 2019.

Another Royal Retirement! The Queen’s Favorite Carriage Horse, Daniel, Hangs Up His Saddle

Prince Philip isn’t the only member of Queen Elizabeth‘s royal household who retired this week.

Her favorite carriage horse, Daniel, is also trotting off into the sunset following a fruitful career after 15 years of drawing Her Majesty’s carriages.

It was a fitting job for the white horse, as he’s pretty majestic-looking himself. A “Windsor Grey,” Daniel, is set to retire at 22 after his service in the Royal Mews.

As the Queen’s favorite, he’s been present at a number of official occasions, like the State Opening of Parliament, Trooping the Colour and the Garter Day procession. Daniel also was the lead horse on the carriage that carried Prince William and Princess Kate through the streets of London after their wedding at Westminster Abbey.

The Queen loves him so much that she had a life-sized bronze Daniel statue made in homage to the animal.

Now, Daniel is set to spend his days rolling around in the grass at a Home of Rest for horses.

“He’s a handsome boy — but he knows he’s a looker,” Jeanette Allen, CEO of the Horse Trust, the organization that runs Daniel’s future home. “You could see that from the way he carried the Duke and Duchess to their wedding. Greys normally love mud but it took him days to roll in a puddle after he arrived here. He’s very refined.”

Refined? No wonder he was the Queen’s favorite!

How To Ride the Motivation Wave and Overcome Distraction By, Daniel DiPiazza

For 20 years, filmmaker Sooyong Park has devoted his life to the study, recording and preservation of the wild Siberian tiger. 2-3 times a year, he leaves his family for months at a time to stay in the frozen forests of Eastern Russia, Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula in hopes of catching a glimpse of the great cats.

To withstand temperatures of -30*C, he builds himself an underground igloo, reinforced with sticks. To sustain himself, he packs hundreds of tiny rations of nuts and seeds in plastic wrap. When he’s thirsty, he drinks the snow.

Then, he takes out his camera and waits.

Sometimes days. Sometimes weeks. Sometimes months — waiting for the tigers to show up. And even when they do show up, he’s not allowed to show his excitement. He has to be absolutely focused in hopes of getting one, fleeting picture without scaring them away (or getting himself killed).

And because of Sooyong’s unconventional ability to focus on his work with tigers, the world has gotten some of the rarest footage ever captured of tiger behavior in the wild. Among his best finds, Park has captured some of the only footage of tigers giving birth in the wild, playing with each other at various ages, and doing other incredible things that nobody in the world has been able to record.

After watching a documentary about him, I immediately started thinking about what it must be like to focus on one thing so intensely for such a long period of time. It blew my mind.

Imagine being alone in that igloo, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No updates on social, no contact, no toilet.

“Day 47, still waiting on tigers. Anyone else up? Lol!”

The funny thing is, it’s a GOOD thing he was so isolated out there.

Having contact with the outside world and constantly being wrapped up in the flow of daily gossip soundbites would have robbed him of the chance to actually focus on what he came there to see. And the same thing is happening to you and I every single day.

Focus in today’s world is harder than ever.

Unlike Sooyong Park, most of our jobs don’t require us to be out in nature for extended periods of time — so it’s much harder to escape the social media tractor beam. Most people can’t even complete a single task from beginning to end. It’s no surprise, really. Just take a look at your environment. The way that our culture and society is set up is not conducive itself to maintaining discipline or focus — partly because we’ve made ourselves increasingly available to outside intrusion

A few decades ago, there were just a handful of ways to contact each other: snail mail, home telephone or in person. That was it. Fast forward to today, and there is an almost infinite amount of ways to “check in” on somebody that you want to talk to.

On my phone alone I have:

  1. apple imessage app (for personal texts)
  2. Facebook messenger (for fb direct messages)
  3. Facebook app (for comments and updates)
  4. Twitter app
  5. Facebook Mentions (for fan page messages/updates)
  6. Whatsapp (international texts and calls)
  7. snapchat (for nudes??)
  8. Instagram (can receive DMs)
  9. Skype (for group calls and international video chat)
  10. GroupMe (I use it for social media interest groups)
  11. Kik (strictly for communicating with Instagram partners)
  12. Gmail (email)

That’s 12 different ways to get in touch with me at any given moment! (Not including making an actual phone call! That, my friends, is DESIGNED distraction.)

Everything in our lives is brilliantly designed to make us keep coming back for more..while getting less and less done. It’s almost impossible to avoid. This isn’t an excuse to fall into the Candy Crush oblivion and never return…but it’s just a fact. The technology you use every single day is designed to drain your focus and decrease your attention span.

I’ve said it before, but with so much distraction, uninterrupted focus is a rare superpower these days. One of my friends, also named Daniel, says it this way: “Give the greatest philosophers of ancient history Facebook and I’ll show you all the books they didn’t write.”

Developing focus by creating

Focus is a learned skill, and attention can be developed like a muscle. The more you focus on training this skill, the easier it becomes to “switch on.”

The most common response to lack of focus is attempting to use your will to overpower the distraction. Maybe you even delete annoying apps and pledge to only check your messages every fortnight. These ideas sound good…but we know they never end up working long term.
Eventually, you’ll have to use your apps. And you’re going to want to check your email. Being focused isn’t about cultivating greater willpower or hoping that the world goes back to a “simpler” time.

You’re most likely going to be on social media. This is just part of our new social ecosystem. Get over it. Most of us want to use these tools — so it’s not about eliminating them, it’s about learning how to adapt your lives to them. What you spend your time on is a result of what you do habitually. If you can change your habits, you can increase your ability to focus and change your entire life.

Learn to ride the “Motivation Wave” for as long as possible

Stanford professor B.J. Fogg really digs into the heart of our discussion today and delivers a framework to be productive according to the time of day.

He looks at motivation a bit differently than most. According to Fogg, motivation is a wave with peaks and valleys — and the goal isn’t to stay at a constant peak — but rather, to recognize the valleys and adjust your effort accordingly.

According to Fogg, it’s not realistic to expect focused attention from yourself at all times. Instead, the key is to become more aware of your daily (or even hourly) fluctuations in motivation — and do the hardest things in your day when you’re feeling the best.

For example, you might use this approach to “trick” yourself into working out every morning.
You know that when you get up in the morning and you’ve just had your first meal, your willpower is at the highest point it will be all day. You haven’t checked your email yet or jumped into the maelstrom that is social media.

If you hurry up and get to the gym, you can take full advantage of the natural motivation wave that hits you first thing in the morning — and if you ride it carefully, you can surf those feelings of optimism into the early afternoon by maintaining your energy until 12 or 1pm.

In anticipation of this wave, you’ll stack all your hardest work between 10am and 1pm. All the calls you don’t want to make. All the tedious emails you don’t want to answer and all the boring work you have to plow through. You need to do them when you’re at your peak state.

You already know that if you wait until you’re already feeling the afternoon dip to start force feeding yourself the most dreaded tasks, you’ll never get them done.

Do what you can when you’re feeling good, then purposely find easier things to do when your wave is dying down.

I’ve organized my day this way, which is why I wake up at 4:45am and give myself hours of undistracted time to get my hardest projects done before the rest of the world even wakes up!

I can easily say I’ve 10xed my productivity in the past 6 months alone since adopting this new routine.

Daniel Radcliffe Rapping ‘Alphabet Aerobics’ Is Proof That Magic Does Exist

Harry Potter’s flow is officially riddikulus!

On Tuesday, Daniel Radcliffe stopped by “The Tonight Show” to talk about his new movie “Horns” and revealed that he loves rap music and has a thing for memorizing difficult lyrics. Seeing this as an opportunity for something amazing to happen, Jimmy Fallon then put the actor to the test by getting him to rap Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics.”

From watching the performance, it’s pretty obvious why the actor was chosen to play a wizard — because this is nothing less than magic.
