The Galaxy S10 will arrive in three flavors next year, a new report from Korea revealed, including a cheaper Galaxy S10 that will join the expected Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ models. The best version of the phone will feature a triple-lens camera on the back, and, of course, there’s a rumor about said camera setup.

Elder Scrolls 6 Location Guide – Where Could Bethesda’s Next Game be Set?

If there’s one game that’s probably on most gamers’ wishlist, it’s Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda is keeping incredibly tight-lipped on the topic however, especially regarding the game’s existence and where the Elder Scrolls 6 location would be.

Whether it’s Valenwood or Argonia, there’s been plenty of speculation as to what the Elder Scrolls 6 setting will be.

Here we take a look at the possibilities and top fan favourites for the Elder Scrolls 6 locations.

A brief history of Elder Scrolls

Of course, the location for the game is more than just a setting, it also gives us an idea of what the game’s called.

For example, Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall was set across the High Rock and Hammerfell provinces, while Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind took you to the island of Vvardenfell.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was set in Cyrodil and finally Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim took us to… well, Skyrim.

All these locations were featured in the original game, Elder Scrolls Arena. It’s the only Elder Scrolls game to date to allow you to explore the full empire of Tamriel, but sadly because it was 1994 it was very basic and repetitive.

The original map from Elder Scrolls Arena looks something like this:

Elder Scrolls Arena map
From left to right: Summerset Isle, High Rock, Hammerfell, Valenwood, Skyrim, Imperial Province, Elsweyr, Black Marsh and Morrowind

In fact, this awesome map from a Reddit user sums up where the events of all the Elder Scrolls events have taken place so far:

Tamriel Elder Scrolls game map

All the events of every Elder Scrolls game since have taken place within Tamriel, so it’s safe to believe that it’ll be the same for Elder Scrolls 6.

With that in mind, here are all the potential Elder Scrolls 6 locations currently up for games within Tamriel.

Elder Scrolls 6: Valenwood

Elder Scrolls, Valenwood
The Valenwood province of Tamriel

Location: Valenwood is a south-western province of Tamriel, west of Elsweyr, south-west of Cyrodiil and east of the Abecean Sea.

Home to the Wood Elves or Bosmer, this is a largely uninhabited forest wilderness. The coastlines are dominated by mangrove swamps and rain forests.

Likelihood: Strong

Valenwood is one of the spots in Tamriel that Bethesda hasn’t yet explored in the Elder Scrolls series beyond Arena.

However, there’s also a purportedly leaked memo from within Bethesda back in 2014 that supports a Valenwood location.

The memo allegedly prohibited Bethesda employees from “using or referencing” a number of terms. These included Fallout: Nuka World, which ended up being part of a Fallout 4 DLC release, Elder Scrolls 6 or something known as Project Greenheart.

Many believe that Project Greenheart is the codename for Elder Scrolls 6 because Greenheart is a city found in the Valenwood region.

Coincidence? Probably not.

Elder Scrolls 6: Elsweyr

The Elsyweyr province of Tamriel

Location: Elsweyr is a region of Tamriel bordered by Valenwood on the west, Cyrodiil to the north and east and Argonia to the east.

The province is separated into two nations: Anequina to the north and Pelletine to the South. Anequina is a desert-like badlands similar to Hammerfell. Pelletine, on the other hand, is a mixture of dense jungles and woodlands like Valenwood.

It’s the home of the feline race of Elder Scrolls, the Khajiit.

Likelihood: Possible.

Bethesda has regularly said that the setting of Elder Scrolls games tends to be based on which province has the most lore.

There’s plenty of information about Elsweyr in the previous games, so could be a great base to build Elder Scrolls 6.

Elder Scrolls 6: Hammerfell

Hammerfell, Elder Scrolls
The Hammerfell province of Tamriel

Location: Hammerfell is a vast province to the west of Tamriel. The region is bordered by High Rock to the north, Skyrim to the north-east and Cyrodiil to the east and south-east.

It’s a massive region that’s covered by mountain ranges, grasslands and even deserts – just for that real mix of terrains.

The Redguards call Hammerfell their home, who are a race of men known for their cunning and skilled swordsmanship.

Likelihood: Strong.

The only issue with Hammerfell being a potential location for Elder Scrolls 6 is that it was partially featured in Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall.

However, at E3 2018, Bethesda released the first teaser trailer for the game, revealing few details beyond a sweeping view of a mountainous region. This could indicate that Hammerfell will be the location for the upcoming sequel.

Hammerfell is an absolutely massive region so there’s plenty more that Elder Scrolls 6 could explore.

Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia

Elder Scrolls Argonia, or Black Marsh
The Black Marsh or Argonia region of Tamriel

Location: The Black Marsh, known also as Argonia, is a region in the south-east of Tamriel. It’s bordered by Morrowind to the north, Cyrodiil to the west and protected by both the Topal Sea and the Padomaic Ocean.

It’s here that the reptilian Argonians call home, some of which you will encounter in other Elder Scrolls games.

The province is filled with great rivers and impenetrable swamps. It seems to be ruled by the King of Argonia and an Argonian Royal court.

Likelihood: Strong

Online rumours have speculated that Argonia or the Black Marsh will be the setting for Elder Scrolls 6 for years.

Although there don’t seem to be any verified leaks as yet, it is one location that the Elder Scrolls series hasn’t yet explored.

Plus, there’s plenty of knowledge of the Argonian race in previous games to support the next game exploring their homeland region.

Elder Scrolls 6: Akavir

Akavir Elder Scrolls
There are currently only fan-made maps of Akavir, but it could look something like this

Location: Akavir or the “Dragon Land” is one of the only areas in this list that’s outside of Tamriel.

It’s actually a totally different continent that lies to the east of Tamriel and is the homeland of the Akaviri.

These people are made up of unrelated races, the Snow Demons of Jamal, the serpent men of Tsaesci, the Monkey People of Tang Mo and the Tiger Dragons of Ka’Po’Tun.

Little is known about the continent but it is referenced multiple times throughout the series.

Likelihood: Possible.

If Bethesda thinks the Elder Scrolls series is just retreading old ground in Tamriel, moving to the nearby yet historically connected continent of Akavir definitely has potential.

Elder Scrolls 6: Atmora

Atmora Elder Scrolls
Again, there are no real images for Atmora from the game, so this is a fan-created outline of the continent

Location: Atmora, also known as Elder Wood, is a frozen continent way to the north of Tamriel, across the Sea of Ghosts.

It’s described in the Elder Scrolls series as a place of permanent winter, with little life and no sign of habitation.

Likelihood: Very unlikely.

Nothing lives in this land of ice, so what reason would Bethesda have to set Elder Scrolls 6 there?

Elder Scrolls 6: Alinor

Elder Scrolls Summerset Isles

Location: The Summerset Isles, also known as Alinor, is an archipelago consisting of three major islands: Summerset, Auridon and Artaeum.

The archipelago is located to the south-west of Tamriel and west of Valenwood in the Abecean Sea.

It’s home to the Altmer or High Elves/Western Elves. They’re one of the ten default playable races in Elder Scrolls games and are primarily known for their enhanced magic abilities.

Likelihood: Possible.

The High Elves are one of the most popular races in Elder Scrolls, and any player would love to see a game set in their homeland.

There’s plenty of history when it comes to the Summerset Isles too, which could give a major AAA release plenty of source material.

Plus, there’s a couple in Fallout 4 called the Summersets. Is that a little hint from Bethesda?

Why ‘Barry’ deserves to be your next summer binge

TwitterFacebook

Quick question: Why on earth haven’t you checked out Barry yet?

Dramedy is a word I refuse to use. In part because it sounds like off-brand motion sickness medication, but mostly because it’s very rarely the right word to use. Just because one episode of The Big Bang Theory pulled at your heartstrings and Tyrion Lannister occasionally gets a zinger in after a Game of Thrones massacre, those series aren’t “dramedies.” That being said, I’m willing to break my rule for HBO’s Barry, the truest dramedy on television and the most underrated show of this past spring.

Alec Berg (Silicon Valley‘s executive producer) and Bill Hader (SNL alumnus) head up this tale of “a hitman searching for some direction.” Hader portrays the eponymous Barry, a former marine turned contract killer who comes to Los Angeles to complete a job for the Chechen mob. While tracking the target of the hit (a fitness trainer named Ryan), Barry stumbles into the world of amateur acting. Within seconds of being on stage, he decides to leave behind his life as a professional killer and pursue his newfound showbiz dream. Of course, leaving such a violent profession won’t be easy. This Discount Attractions Pass Could Save You Money on Your Next Vacation

Everybody loves a good travel deal.

Some bargains are obvious, like comparing airline ticket prices to see which is lowest.

Other deals take a little investigating to figure out whether they’re a bargain.

Discount travel package company CityPASS bundles admission fees to several popular tourist attractions in a city for a single, lower price.

The passes are currently available in 13 North American cities:

  • Atlanta, Georgia
  • Boston, Massachusetts
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Houston, Texas
  • New York, New York
  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • San Francisco, California
  • Seattle, Washington
  • Southern California
  • Tampa, Florida
  • Toronto, Canada

Travelers purchase a CityPASS filled with admission vouchers to each attraction. Simply show the pass at the attraction’s entrance for admittance.

CityPASSes are valid for nine consecutive days (14 days in California) beginning with the first day of use and don’t expire for at least one year from the date of purchase.

But are CityPASSes a bargain, or is it cheaper to buy tickets to attractions individually?

We crunched some numbers to find out.

Note: All prices are current as of April 2018 but are subject to change.

What You Get With a CityPASS

You can also choose tickets for:

No matter which combination of admission tickets you choose, at the end of your trip you’ll have visited six popular New York City attractions for a single price.

Does CityPASS Save You Money?

To decide whether a CityPASS is a good value, you need to compare it to the cost of buying individual attraction tickets.

The Pros and Cons of CityPASS

In every instance, CityPASS provided a better value than purchasing each ticket individually.

However, there are other things to consider about CityPASSes than just whether they cost less than buying individual attraction tickets. Here are some pros and cons to keep in mind.

Pros:

There are definitely some upsides to buying a CityPASS.

  • Fixed costs help you stay within your budget.
  • A CityPASS allows you to skip the lines at many attractions.
  • Planning is easier because you already know what you’ll see and do on your trip.
  • A CityPASS is good for several days, giving you the freedom to change plans on the fly.
  • There’s only one ticket booklet to keep track of instead of several loose individual tickets.

Cons:

But there are also some downsides to buying a CityPASS.

  • Once you buy a CityPASS, you’ll waste money if you don’t visit the attractions as planned.
  • You may miss opportunities to spend time at other tourist draws, including free attractions like beaches or parks.
  • You may rush from attraction to attraction to get the most value for your money.
  • CityPASSes are nontransferable, so you lose your money if your travel plans change.
  • Prearranged commitments to certain attractions may take the spontaneity and fun out of travel.

CityPASSes can be a great deal for travelers who know exactly what they want to do on their trip, but others may find that type of commitment stifling.

Whether CityPASS is a good value on your next trip depends on your destination and how many attractions you want to visit. To find out if it’s right for you, roll up your sleeves, pull out a calculator and get ready to do some math if you choose one of the locations where we haven’t crunched the numbers.

How to avoid long customs and immigration lines on your next trip

So you’ve just sat on a plane for thirteen hours traveling from Indonesia, what you’ll then have to do is stand in line for another few hours waiting to get through customs and immigration. If only there some sort of guide was available to help you get through quicker…

You’re standing in line, it seems as though time itself has stood still and seconds can feel like hours. Not to mention you’ve got someone behind you huffing and puffing so much you can actually feel their breath on the back of your neck. Don’t even get us started on the crying baby that seems to have followed you from the plane to the customs line.

There’s an app for that

Re-entering the country doesn’t have to be as much of a hassle as you think though. It is possible to download the Mobile Passport app on your cell phone which will get you through customs and immigration in mere minutes instead of the several hours it usually takes. It is relatively unheard of so the lines for getting through are very small at the airport. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you will need to save a bit of your basic personal information on it, such as a photo and your passport number. After you have landed and are being taxied, you can take your phone off airplane mode and access the app. You will have to answer some basic questions just like you would at customs. Once complete and you’ve arrived at the customs kiosks you can head on over to the Mobile Passport lane and show them the QR code you’ll get for completing the questions on the Mobile Passport app. Show them the code and then proceed through and you can leave the misery of standing in the customs and immigration line to everyone else. You can even include your family members traveling with you.

Global Entry

You can enroll in the Global Entry scheme which gains quicker passage through customs and immigration for American citizens. Low-risk travelers qualify, and it allows them to bypass lines when they get to customs and immigration in the U.S. They just have to simply stroll up to a kiosk and enter their pin number, known as a Trusted Traveler number, along with doing a fingerprint scan. The Global Entry scheme doesn’t work for family members though, they will have to become approved individually, so if you’re planning a family trip abroad, you’ll need to get the whole family enrolled or else you’ll have to wait anyway. Global Entry will set you back $ 100 for five years, which is a good return for your investment if you are a frequent traveler. You’ll just need to head over to the Global Entry website to see whether you qualify and you can begin your application process.

Those were the two tips we think will save you a bunch of time at the airport when you land back in the States. We think it is worth giving them a go as anything beats being stuck in line for hours at a time.

The Weekend Reset: Perspective, exploration and food and fun for your next BBQ

It’s Friday. Looking for something to switch your weekend up, or to give you an excuse to relax a little? That’s what the Weekend Reset is for. Each week contributor Tim Johnstone pulls together five things to get your weekend started. Could be something to read or watch, something to eat or listen to, or even something to do. Enjoy the weekend fellas.

WATCH (& Listen): A reminder.

Sometimes it is way too easy to let all the drama going on in the world take a toll on your soul. Which is why this song should always be within reach. It is beautifully arranged, uplifting and heartfelt without being corny. It is a good reminder that there are really good things to remember when you need it most. This band released one lovely album under this name. Lead singer and songwriter Jonny McDaid is now a member of Snow Patrol.

EXPLORE: The best museums in the world are at your fingertips.

Not everyone is able to take off for a weekend in DC or Madrid or Paris. Some of the most remarkable museums in the world can be experienced via virtual tours. Some are better than others. Because I couldn’t find a worthy e-tour of The Prada in Madrid, I thought I’d invite you to check out The Smithsonian’s Natural Museum of Natural History because cavemen and elephants and dinosaurs oh my! Also, wet specimens? Sure. Why not. Stuck home this weekend? Enjoy the tour! (photo credit)

EAT: Grilled Spring Artichokes!

One of my favorite vegetables when I was going up were artichokes. Yes, I was a weird kid. Nonetheless, these remain a favorite of mine. This is a terrific way to enjoy this particular member of the thistle family. Make sure to check out the recipes for Caper SauceSmoked Paprika-Garlic Butter, and Spicy Soy Mayo.

PLAY! Meet your new favorite outdoor party game.

This is one of the most popular games in Europe according to every single article I have found.  Mölkky combines elements of croquet, darts and bowling along with some strategy for good natured fun at summer get togethers. Not gonna lie – this is a go-to for my crew at spring and summer patio parties and it’s not uncommon to have 2 sets going at once. No, we are not nerds. The game is just fun. Also, apologies for the music used in that video because…oof.

READ: A short story collection with grit and soul.

This is not a collection for the faint of heart. But it is deeply rewarding. Heathcock’s stories feature tough people leading brittle lives. It’s about bad decisions and even worse luck. The writing is crisp and lyrical. The struggles and events never fail to connect. Think Cormack McCarthy. These stories bite at your soul and keep coming back to nudge at your thoughts and ideas about how life is. It is a remarkable collection.

Scouted: The Next Time You Go Camping Or To A Concert, Bring This Portable Seat

If you’ve gone to a music festival — or otherwise outdoorsy event — you likely know the struggle of finding a seat. While plopping down on the ground is always an option, it’s often not the most desirable one. This is where the Sitpack 2.0 comes in. It’s a compact portable seat that collapses to the size of a can when not in use. The portable seat lets you take a load off wherever you may be, and it’s on sale for nearly 40 percent off the usual price.

The Sitpack is fashioned from durable, glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate and weighs in at a meager 1.3 pounds, so it’s not too cumbersome to tote around. It’s suitable for all types of terrain (think rocky trails, grassy parks) and, thanks to the alligator foot clamp, it will keep you upright while you’re using it. It’s also height adjustable, so it’ll fit you as well as any friends who need a quick rest.

The Sitpack lets you discreetly pack a seat wherever you go and give your legs a rest when the day gets long. It normally retails for $ 65, but you can get it on sale today for $ 39.95, saving nearly 40 percent off the usual retail price.

The New York Yankees Will Play the Boston Red Sox in London Next Year

(LONDON) — Taking in the London landmarks, Hal Steinbrenner turned his eyes from statues to more familiar sights.

“I walked through Trafalgar Square yesterday and saw a lot of Yankees hats,” the team owner told The Associated Press. “I don’t think it had anything to do with today.”

Tuesday was launch day for Major League Baseball’s foray into Europe, with two games between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox set for June 2019 at London’s Olympic Stadium.

The Yankees caps spotted by Steinbrenner as he wandered by Nelson’s Column was a reminder that in so many parts of the world his team is more of a fashion brand than a 27-time champion.

The aim is to change that with regular-season games in London, moving baseball closer to its European fans and a new audience.

“It’s about introducing the sport by bringing the players,” Steinbrenner said, “by bringing the greatest rivalry in baseball here.”

It won’t be a one-off excursion into London for MLB. The intention is to emulate the NFL and NBA and send fixtures every year to the British capital.

After the trial run next year — the Red Sox and Yankees will play on June 29 and 30 — MLB is also committed to playing in London in 2020 as part of a long-term strategy to establish a footprint in the city.

“We hope this series will be the beginning of a relationship with London that persists and a continuation of increasing exposure for Major League Baseball in Europe,” Commissioner Rob Manfred said Tuesday.

The NFL is so entrenched in London now that Shahid Khan has lodged a bid with the English Football Association to buy Wembley Stadium, where his Jacksonville Jaguars have been playing annually since 2013.

MLB is heading to a stadium that has been a drain on the British taxpayer since it was built for the 2012 Olympics and then reconstructed to accommodate English Premier League club West Ham as a tenant. The running track around the field that makes the venue seem ill-suited for soccer allows MLB to configure it for baseball.

Alastair Grant—APJohn Henry owner of the Boston Red Sox, left Robert D Manfred Commissioner of the MBL, Sadiq Khan the Mayor of London, Jennifer Steinbrenner Swindal and Hal Steinbrenner left with joint owners of the New York Yankees, in London, May 8, 2018.

“It’s very important when it’s not the football season we try to generate revenues that will balance the books,” London Mayor Sadiq Khan said.

The stadium will have a capacity of 55,000 for baseball.

“It’s going to be a different crowd,” Red Sox manager Alex Cora said before the teams played each other Tuesday night in New York. “It should be fun. The family is going to go and we’re going to have a blast and the players, they’re going to experience something different.

“Everybody knows about the rivalry and how much it means over here, so they’re going to have a taste of the rivalry over there in London.”

England is already a second home to John Henry, the owner of the Red Sox and Liverpool of the Premier League. Talks between Henry and Steinbrenner began more than two years ago about taking the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry across the Atlantic.

“All of us here today look forward to hearing the cry ‘Play Ball’ in London,” Henry said at the MLB launch at a London cinema off Regent Street. Boston will be the home team for both games.

By playing in London in June during the Premier League offseason, baseball is muscling into cricket territory.

“We think there is an affinity with cricket,” Manfred said. “There’s a lot of carry-over of that fan base into baseball.”

After all, the 2014 MLB season began at the Sydney Cricket Ground in front of Australian fans.

“I think particularly they liked the fact that our foul balls get to stay in the stands and hopefully that will be popular here as well,” Manfred said. “Usurping cricket is a real challenge, but we would like to think of it as a complimentary effort. The same sort of fans might be attracted.”

The bane of the British summer, as cricket fans experience too often, is rain wiping out play. And rain would certainly spell trouble for the MLB games in London.

“We will pray we actually get the games in,” Manfred said. “Because of the scheduling, rain will be difficult for us in the event we get bad weather. … If we lose a game it would have to be made up in the United States.”

Still, Manfred sees London as a “permanent home” for a franchise one day.

“When you play 162 times in 187 days, travel is an issue,” he said. “The world continues to get smaller. As travel gets better, we hope it’s a possibility.”

The NFL appears no closer to basing a team in Britain despite so much chatter since regular-season games were brought to London in 2007. There have been 18 games at Wembley and three at Twickenham. Three more NFL games are scheduled for this year, including one at the new stadium of Premier League club Tottenham.

The NBA and NHL have also held regular-season games in London, and now MLB is getting in on the act.

“I’ve never been to London, so I think it’s pretty cool that we’re going across the pond. I like that,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. “A chance to spread our game. I think that’s awesome.”

American Idol Judges Pull Surprise Move After Drag Queen Ada Vox Wasn’t Voted Into Next Round

Live television calls for some surprises every now and then.

On Monday’s first live episode of American Idol , judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan pulled a move that even host, Ryan Seacrest, was blown away by.

Though performer and drag queen Ada Vox wasn’t voted through to the next round by viewers after Sunday’s performance, she was given the chance to redeem herself. The judges, who could save four contestants who were not voted through, had the option of either saving Ada or sending her home – but immediately after Ada’s performance, they couldn’t hold back.

“I don’t know everything,” Perry told Ada. “But I think we do know talent when we see it.”

Without waiting for Seacrest’s directions, the three judges mixed things up and simultaneously pointed to where the Top 10 were seated and said she belonged there – no ifs, ands or buts.

“When the Ada moment came, it wasn’t just one person’s idea,” Perry, 33, told reporters after the show. “We all looked at each other and we saw the math … excuse us, we’re going to step in now. Were we allowed to do that? We found out we were.”

“We messed up the timetable a bit, but you know what it was, we felt so strongly about it, we didn’t have to wait for that vote,” added Richie, 68.

“Enough was enough and you put your foot down when it’s real,” said Perry. “We stand for truth and for justice.”

Ada, who has auditioned for Idol every season since the age of 16, previously told PEOPLE, “I have a much bigger skin this time around. I’m not afraid to hear the hate. It can bounce off of me and I can use it to build myself up.”

Also known as Adam Sanders when not in drag, Ada says, “Mr. Adam is the base of everything that I am. That’s just who I am and what I do every day of my life. Ms. Ada is kinda of the outer exterior, is a personification of the diva in Adam.”

Marcio Donaldson, Mara Justine, Jonny Brenns and Garrett Jacobs were eliminated leaving Maddie Poppe, Cade Foehner, Gabby Barrett, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Michael J. Woodard, Catie Turner, Ada Vox, Jurnee, Michelle Sussett and Dennis Lorenzo as the Top 10.

American Idol airs on Sundays and Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

Ever the grounded, pragmatic Earth sign, you’re careful to shop for quality investment pieces first and foremost. This clean and simple pair is surprisingly affordable and will go with everything you own. It’s a win-win.

Your more romantic side will love the rosy shade of these sneakers. I mean, they’re just too pretty to pass up.

Trump’s Next Top Diplomat Can’t Save His Own Face

Jim Watson/Getty

Most diplomats, when their old positions put their objectives at risk, look for opportunities to de-escalate conflict. Mike Pompeo, Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, didn’t take the off-ramps that senators repeatedly offered him on Thursday.

Pompeo was never going to have an easy confirmation hearing. As a tea-party congressman before joining the administration, he had made bigoted statements about American Muslims. As Trump’s CIA director, Pompeo has used bellicose rhetoric against Iran and North Korea, to the delight of the White House, which has recently taken to purging national-security officials Trump considered out of sync with his impulses.

Bob Corker, the GOP chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told Pompeo his colleagues were justified in wondering if his closeness with the president is “based on deferential willingness to go along to get along.” That kicked off five long and often agonizing hours in which Pompeo found himself caught between the president he seeks to please, the politician he used to be, and the senators he needs to convince.

Allow Me to Present the Next Wave of the “Ugly” Sneaker

Every trend has a bell curve; popularity climbs and climbs and climbs until it doesn’t. As much as we love the chunky dad sneakers that have dominated 2018, at some point, the chunky-soled styles will give way to something new. If we were to take bets on what that might be, our money would be all in on Velcro sneakers. Think of these hassle-free shoes as the pared-down sibling to those over-the-top styles you’ve seen on the feet of all your favorite trendsetters.

While Velcro offers the same “so uncool it’s actually cool” aesthetic that have made dad sneakers a favorite, there’s a bit more room to pick your own level of commitment. Some styles skew minimalist while others are a statement dressers dream; this trend definitely isn’t one size fits all. So if you’re ready to give Velcro sneakers a try (trust us, you are), get ready to embrace your inner child and shop our favorite styles below.

Trendy without ever feeling like they’re trying too hard. Available in sizes 37 to 40.

Here’s why #AgingLikeAPresident is becoming the next big hashtag for moms

by

Becky Vieira

posted in Parenting

We all age. Some of us are just doing it faster than others. The physical signs of it appear more quickly and pronounced due to exhaustion and stress. This is often the case with mothers.

Mothers age very, very quickly.

It’s become common knowledge that those who’ve held the office of President of the United States of America are among what appears to be the most rapid agers. Countless photo essays have compiled before and after images former presidents. And they are indeed drastically different.

Pop culture has adopted the term “aging like a president” to define this phenomenon. You begin a journey filled with exuberance and a glow of excitement. But, over time, it wears you down. Sleepless nights. Worry. Fear and stress, everything begins to show on your face.

Mom is aging like a president in comparison photos

I say that’s something to be proud of. A badge of honor, showing the world what we’re made of and have endured. And for those of us moms who have been aging this way since our kids were born, I say we wear it with pride.

I look different since my son was born. Older, perhaps. Definitely more tired. But I think there is a glow of love and happiness that wasn’t there before. I love it.

I’ll admit, the rapid disintegration of my youth is like nothing I’ve ever witnessed. Sometimes I curse the new wrinkles on my face, or the bags under my eyes. Then I remember how I earned them. And I smile my mom-smile — the one that now has extra crinkles around the eyes.

It’s time to embrace it. I’m claiming the hashtag #AgingLikeAPresident for all moms. Forget #momlife, this says it all.

I’ve started using the hashtag on my mom life Instagram account, and others have been embracing it. And sharing their own photos and stories.

“I keep my coffee cup on a high shelf. I was trying to use the bathroom and I heard, “uh oh! Uh oh!” My son apparently can reach the shelf now. The first time, ever, and I’m in another room. He spilled it all over himself, the couch, rug, across the house. Thankfully my coffee is never hot. And that’s just one example of why I’ve aged 10 years in the last 18 months. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.” — Melissa Robles

Mom with one kid and mom after two kids

“In this moment, every wrinkle, gray hair and emotional scar feels like it’s worth it. These little guys depend on me and I don’t want to let them down.” —Marilu Livermore

Mom when pregnant compared to mom after children

“The before picture was a few hours before labor started, so I thought I looked awfully exhausted when that picture was taken. Now, with a 17-month old son, I think I look like a supermodel on that picture!! But hey, my son can’t tell I look older; I’m still his awesome mommy!” —Natalia Jiménez

“I’ve earned these bags under my eyes, every wrinkle on my face and gray hair on my head being a new mother!” —Toni Paolillo

“Before” me had no idea what lay ahead, complicated labour, emergency c section, a tiny 5lb 7 baby with reflux, tongue tie and trouble breastfeeding. Followed by postnatal depression. And even though all that may have #agedmelikeapresident “after” me had never felt so loved in my life. —Rhiannon Connon

Show us what you’ve earned, moms. We can’t wait to see how hard you’ve all worked to be officially #AgingLikeAPresident.

MOVIE APP UPDATE:

This Travel Agency Will Make Your Next Vacation Location a Big Surprise

Weekend getaways are an adventure. Planning them? Not so much.

Travel agency Pack Up + Go will book your travel and lodging for you, but there’s a catch.

https://www.packupgo.com/how-it-works/

You have to allow the company to pick your destination.

Clearly, this service is not designed for people with trust issues.

Traveling With Pack Up + Go

If you’re down with letting someone else plan your three-day getaway, Pack Up + Go makes the online booking process really easy.

First, you’ll decide whether you want to road trip it in your own car or travel by plane, bus, or train (if you choose the latter, Pack Up + Go decides the mode of transportation).

Next, you’ll answer a few questions about your travel budget, the dates you’re available to travel and what types of activities you prefer.

Some of the questions are optional, but providing information about your preferences and interests makes easier for the agency to tailor your perfect trip.

There’s even space on the questionnaire to list previous vacations so they don’t send you somewhere you’ve been recently.

Pack Up + Go makes travel and lodging arrangements for you according to your budget and puts together a map of places you might want to check out in your destination city.

A week before your getaway begins, you’ll get an email that includes a weather forecast for wherever you’re headed, recommendations on what to pack (sunscreen or mittens) and instructions on where and when to show up for your mystery adventure.

You’ll also receive an envelope in the mail from Pack Up + Go a few days before your trip with instructions not to open it until you get to your designated departure location.

Once you arrive, tear open the envelope to find out where you’re headed and get going!

Throwing Caution to the Wind

Don’t worry that you’ll end up spending the weekend in a shack in the middle of a rural cornfield. Pack Up + Go sends travelers to mid-size American cities with public transportation only.

The agency knows travelers don’t want to spend precious vacation time stuck on a plane, bus or train so your mystery destination will be only three to four hours away from your departure city.

Prices start at $ 400 per person for trips with two or more people. Solo vacation prices start at $ 800.

If you’re an intrepid traveler with wanderlust in your heart and discretionary money in your budget, what are you waiting for? Just pack up and go!

How to pick your next vacation spot

So you have chosen to travel. You decided that you would rather invest in an experience than a material item, so you start to save for your next trip. But where in the world should you go? It’s a tough question with so many wonderful options. Of course, the amount of time you have, as well as your budget play large parts in your final choice.  Whatever your unique situation may be, here is how to pick your next vacation destination.

You will first need to ask yourself what kind of vacation you would like. Are you a city person, a beach bum or a countryside lover? Do you want somewhere with hot or cold weather? Are you seeking relaxation or adventure? Culture, adrenaline or shopping? Who are you traveling with? Are you splurging or budgeting? Would you rather go to the popular tourist spots or go off the beaten track?  Once you have a general direction of what type of holiday you have in mind, it makes it much easier to start to explore spots.

When searching for a vacation destination, it is important to be open minded. Just because you have never heard of a certain place or can’t say it’s name properly, if you find a cheap flight then why not go for it? Just make sure it is safe before, of course. Going out of your comfort zone can allow you to have the best possible trip ever.

It is also useful to be creative as much as you can. If the flights are super expensive to your dream destination, find an alternative spot. Perhaps do not fly direct and find a bus that goes there from a cheaper airport.  You should also take the underdog into consideration and look into a country’s second city, which is usually cheaper and makes a unique option.

Once you find a place that speaks to you, be decisive, but it is so easy to think about it for weeks on end contemplating if it the right move. By waiting around too long you can miss out on a great opportunity. So once you make a choice, book it right away.  If you are feeling unsure about your travel plans, ask yourself why you want to travel? Try to understand what you are seeking to gain, whether it be to have quality time with your friends, relax, reconnect, disconnect, learn, have an adventure or work on your tan.  By understanding why you are desiring a trip it can make it much easier to chose where you should go.

Always keep in mind that the only things you will regret and those that you did not do. Remember this when you are feeling like you are not adventurous enough and need that extra push.  However do not feel as though making a safe choice is a bad one. As much as being adventurous is exciting and often necessary, doing something you know is good and a safe choice has no shame. If you enjoy yourself, then that is what’s most important.

In addition, if you find a vacation destination you are dying to go to and cannot find a partner to go with you, do not let this hold you back. Go solo and do what is good for you.  And who said that traveling has to be far away? Sometimes going close to home can make for a wonderful option and you’ll be surprised and how many hidden treasures there are right nearby.

If budget is what is holding you back, do not let it stop you from getting away. Even expensive countries have options such as hostels, and free tours that allow for a cheaper trip. It requires being more creative but that’s what traveling is all about.

Why you should apply sunscreen before boarding your next flight

Ahhh, the good ol’ summer vacation. Can’t you just taste it already? The sweet cocktails, the new and exciting foods, the blazing sun beating down on your back. Mmm. Ahhhh. Oops, sorry! We got a little carried away there. In the run-up to your summer vacation, you probably spend weeks packing and repacking your suitcase, making sure you pack the right items. Of course, you’re always going to need three changes of clothes a day – because why keep it casual when you’re on your vacay? You’ll need a good pair of glasses to hide the fact that you’re snoozing by the pool, and you’ll need some sunscreen… because you do NOT want to return home looking like a lobster. Y’know, unless that’s your thing. Yet, it seems you might want to wear also want to wear sunscreen before your plane lands.

Packing essential

Even if you choose to go on a winter vacation and make friends with bears on the top of a mountain (we hope you can ski pretty fast), you’ll still need to take sunscreen with you. Indeed, it’s a packing essential! No matter whether it’s hot or cold, or even if there’s a bit of cloud coverage, UV rays still beat down on your skin. Luckily, sunscreen helps to form a barrier between your skin to stop the rays from penetrating your body and causing long-term damage to your health. However, there are often times where these rays can still prove damaging, and it’s normally when you least expect it…

Before you fly

Before your flight takes off, you probably ensure that you’ve packed everything – although there’s still a high chance you still left your cell phone charger at home. You also make sure you’ve got some in-flight entertainment, like a magazine or a movie downloaded on your tablet. Of course, you also need to make sure you have snacks for the journey (duh). But have you ever made sure that you have applied sunscreen before you fly high in the skies? Most of us don’t, but experts now suggest we should apply sunscreen before and during your flights.

How it affects you

Despite the fact that you are covered by a metal container in the air, experts have confirmed that ultraviolet rays are still able to pass through the windows of the airplane – which can prove harmful to your skin and body. In fact, these rays are much more harmful up in the air as they are on the ground. Because they have further to travel, these rays are much stronger, and the airplane windows do not protect you from them. One 2015 study has noted that pilots spending just 56 minutes in the cockpit at 30,000 feet were subjected to the same amount of cancer-causing radiation as someone who has spent the last 20 minutes on a tanning bed.

What you need to do

Obviously, if you’re sitting near a window seat or just within sitting distance of a window, this radiation came filter through and damage your skin. Because of this, experts suggest that you should wear sunscreen whenever you board a flight to protect yourself. If you’re on a long-haul flight, you’ll then need to re-apply even more sunscreen every two hours. After all, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself!

When you go on vacation, you probably don’t even think about applying sun lotion BEFORE you get to your final destination – but the experts have spoken. So, to keep you and your skin healthy, it’s always best to slather yourself before you expose yourself to any form of sunlight!

Face ID will only come to Android phones next year, but it won’t be the same as the iPhone X

Face ID on Android

A report a few days ago said that Apple has a two-year lead on Android rivals when it comes to the adoption of advanced 3D face-scanning technologies. Many Android device makers may be in a hurry to copy the iPhone X look and feel, and we’ve seen dozens of notch clones already, but these notch bezels won’t house TrueDepth-like cameras.

New reports say that Android device makers will have to wait one more year to deploy devices with 3D-sensing capabilities. When these devices arrive, they might not be Galaxy or Pixel phones. And they might not even launch in international markets at first.

Could Mark Jackson Coach The New York Knicks Next Season?

Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Clippers - Game Seven

Source: Stephen Dunn / Getty

Not much has change with regards to the the Knicks this season.

Carmelo Anthony left New York, as many expected, to join forces with Paul George and Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City and Kristaps Porzingis became the face of the franchise. But on February 6, the 7 footer suffered a torn ACL and is ruled out the rest of the season and isn’t expected to return to the court for at least 10 to 12 months. But, him being out has given others like Trey Burke Frank Ntilikina a chance to get more possessions alongside the $ 70 million man, Tim Hardaway Jr, and big man Enes Kanter.

Despite that, the New York Knicks are still the New York Knicks. They may have just won there second straight thanks to Ntilikina scoring a season-high 19 points, but they’re currently 11th in the east with a 26-45 record. The staff and players that Phil Jackson hired still loom in the front office and the most obvious that doesn’t seem to be working out is head coach Jeff Hornacek. And according to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Mark Jackson is looking like a suitable replacement. Jackson was most recently the head coach for the Golden State Warriors from 2011-2014, helping the go from 23-43 in 2011-12, 47-35 in 2012-13 and 51-31 in 2013-14. If Jackson could put the Warriors on the road to success, he could very well do the same in the Big Apple.

In other Knick news, Porzingis underwent ACL surgery over a month ago and was already spotted putting up shots at the gym at his Manhattan apartment building. Coach Hornacek doesn’t seem too worried because he’s not in any physical contact. But an even bigger problem looms at Madison Square Garden, its name is Joakim Noah and it costs $ 72 million. Noah hasn’t reported to the team since a verbal altercation with Hornacek in January.

Are Bramis The Next Big Lingerie Trend?

Earlier this week I shared the lingerie trend that weirdly made me happier and since then, it’s safe to say I’m on a lingerie-induced shopping spree at the moment. During my lingerie browsing-bender, I came across the below item on Free People’s site which intrigued me. (Side note: If you haven’t already checked out FP’s lingerie selection, it’s where you’ll find comfortable, affordable, and the prettiest options). Back to bramis though, I love a good fashion hybrid so the idea of a bra and cami merging to one already had me sold. As I digged a little deeper I learned the pieces comes in 25 different colors and an array of different styles. I also perused the customer reviews where shoppers shared how much they loved the item and own it in several different colors. For me, I own the sparkly clay and it’s great mainly because I’m small chested and am into the idea of not having to wear a bra, so if you’re on the same page as I am then I suggest stocking up on the below $ 20 brami.

Netflix’s next original series might feature Barack Obama

Barack Obama Netflix

In something of a modern twist on the fireside chats made popular by FDR in the 1930s and 1940s, it’s starting to look like former President Barack Obama will soon have his own show on Netflix. Or on Amazon. Or, perhaps, on whatever TV streaming service Apple eventually rolls out. In short, Obama now finds himself at the center of a bidding war between a number of media titans looking to enhance their catalog of original content.

While specific details are few and far in between,  The New York Times reports that Obama’s new show will provide him with a “global platform” to talk to the American people about whatever he wants in a relaxed and unfiltered setting. Notably, the report claims that the show could focus on “inspirational stories” or, just as easily, hot takes on whatever happens to be the pertinent political issue of the week.

Now That Goku’s Mastered Ultra Instinct, Where Should Dragon Ball Go Next?

After over 30 years of adventures, the Dragon Ball anime franchise has earned a permanent place in our hearts. We watched a naive, tailed boy grow into an even more naive but powerful warrior. But now that Goku has mastered Ultra Instinct in Dragon Ball Super, essentially becoming as powerful as a god, what’s left for the franchise to explore? Sure, we could continue the trope of Goku meeting even stronger threats, but we’ve already seen that. It’s time for a change.

The Problem With Dragon Ball’s Shōnen Formula

Goku defeated Golden Freeza
Poor Goku. He’s trapped in a never-ending cycle of fights and miraculous power-ups.

While the formula used to conveniently increase Goku’s power isn’t broken, it is worn out from overuse. Shōnen anime like Dragon Ball hit us with the same tropes over and over again. We love them, but they are a double-edged sword. It’s addicting to watch a hero like Goku overcome insurmountable odds or unlock their hidden potential. However, the high we get from this thrill dulls a bit more each time it occurs, especially when to the same character.

The overuse of this formula has made Goku — no matter how lovable — predictable and stale. Yes, he progresses but never in an unexpected way. This hurts his overall development — even though he’s constantly evolving. Fans know that, no matter what happens, Goku will win the same way each time by receiving a power-up. Once audiences catch on to this formula, it becomes immersion breaking, as we are stripped of the joy of rooting for the underdog. Sure, we keep watching, but mostly for the spectacle and shocking moments, not the story.

So, What Should Happen Next to Goku?

Goku looking confused
It’s time for Goku to become a mentor.

Now that Goku’s a galactic badass, he’s got bigger fish to fry than what Universe 7 can provide. Dragon Ball Super will likely end with Goku as the victor or on a cliffhanger (to make room for Goku to win in a future movie). It doesn’t make sense for Goku to return to Earth after the tournament ends. Earth is boring, and he needs to fight. Otherwise, he gets bored and suggests tournaments that place lives in the known universes at risk. It’s time for him to move on to new adventures across the galaxy, protecting it from threats Earth will never know.

However, these stories should occur in the background. Similar to the gods and old masters — like Roshi, the Kais, Whis — in the show, Goku should move to a supporting role in the series. When he’s around, he stunts the development of the characters around him. However, in a supporting role, he would be able to mentor the next generation of fighters, helping them prepare for imminent threats. That way, they could defeat powerful enemies without Goku’s divine intervention.

The Need to Redeem Gohan

Videl meets Gohan as Saiyaman
Gohan decline started well before his Saiyaman stint.

With Goku relegated to the background, promising characters like Gohan and Vegeta would finally get their time to shine, and rightfully so. Goku robbed Gohan of his protagonist title when he returned to Dragon Ball Z toward the ends of the series. Up until then, the anime focused on Gohan’s growth as a character. He reaches Super Saiyan 2 before Goku and manages to defeat Cell (with inspiration from his then-dead dad). Goku even refuses to be wished back by the dragon balls because he knows that Gohan can handle any threat that comes the Earth’s way.

That moment was the perfect way to send off Goku and hand the reins over to the next generation, leaving Gohan as the protector of Earth. Then, Goku returns, the writers nerf Gohan’s powers, and all that character development goes down the drain in favor of Goku. With Goku out of the picture, we could dive deeper into what Dragon Ball Z started to build. The inner conflict that Gohan experiences, between the need to protect his family and his lack of a fighting spirit, would be a great place to start. Often, we are our greatest adversaries. No doubt, an arc that explores Gohan’s need to conquer himself would push his powers to new heights. He could even reclaim his title as Earth’s top, albeit reluctant, protector.

The Rise of the Saiyan Prince

Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue form
Vegeta would make a compelling protagonist.

Similarly, Vegeta, who managed to reach Super Saiyan God without help (unlike Goku), could finally get a real win. After years of living in Goku’s shadow, he could actually become the protector of the entire universe. We would love to see him unlock an entirely new power. One that is just as powerful, or even more so, than Ultra Instinct.

We’ve seen hints of this already in Dragon Ball Super when he ascended to the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution state (one step above Super Saiyan Blue). The series could further explore Vegeta’s newfound power, perhaps even having him show it off to King Sadala of Universe 6.

Leading the Next Generation of Z Fighters

Baby Pan all powered up
Will we finally get to watch Pan go Super Saiyan?

Gohan and Vegeta are deeply flawed characters. Vegeta lets his pride get the better of him in nearly every situation, whereas Gohan’s emotions and nature often hold him back from his true potential. However, they both deserve redemption. To have the two of them take the reins and train the next generation of fighters would be a step in the right direction for the franchise.

Finally, we’d be able to see the offspring of the current Z Fighters show off all that unlocked potential we kept hearing about during Dragon Ball Z. (In fact, now that we know female Super Saiyans are a thing, maybe we’ll finally get Super Saiyan Pan.) Without Goku to fall back on, the next generation of Z Fighters would be forced to work together to defeat their enemies. These wouldn’t just be spur-of-the-moment team-ups, but strategic formations that would need to evolve over the course of the entire battle. These new fighting combinations could breathe new life into Dragon Ball by adding failure back into the shōnen equation. Once again, battles would have real stakes, and that’s pretty exciting.

The Perfect Time for a Send-Off and to Explore New Worlds

Goku waving goodbye to everyone
Sometimes goodbyes are necessary.

What better time to send Goku off — excluding the Cell Saga — then right now? With Ultra Instinct mastered, he’s done all we need him to do, and we couldn’t be any prouder. So, let’s hope that Toei Animation doesn’t make a GT-level mistake by dragging his character along past his prime. Instead, we hope that they’ll send him off while he’s still on top. There are so many other characters who deserve at least half of the development that Goku received. Let’s start there and start exploring the full storytelling potential of Dragon Ball’s complex universe.

Kim Kardashian Takes Aerobics Instructor Style to the Next Level

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Japan
Splash News

Is Kim Kardashian trying to tell Us that she has a new fitness video coming our way? The beauty magnate has been giving us her best Jane Fonda of late and upped the ante on Monday, March 5, wearing yet another aerobics instructor-inspired outfit.

The recently-minted mom of three is no stranger to a spandex look, as we are sure you are aware, but this most recent style is notable for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it’s shockingly colorful (though tonal). Kardashian paired a cerulean cropped zipper jacket with a teal tube top and a pair of shiny gray-blue spandex shorts. Perhaps she is moving away from the tans and nudes now that she has shocked Us all by dyeing her platinum mane bright pink (it’s not a wig, btw, she clapped back to those in doubt last week.)

Kim isn’t the only member of her fam to be on board with the retro bike shorts trend. Baby sister Kylie was rocking the trend pre-pregnancy and has also stepped out in the last few weeks wearing a black pair — clearly it’s not a look she is retiring anytime soon.

Full-on spandex not quite your style? Well, Kendall Jenner has been at the forefront of the tracksuits comeback, which she started by rocking Adidas breakaway pants and then totally w-e-r-k-ing the Adidas redux full tracksuit in the spirit of #TracksuitNation founder Armie Hammer. Of course, it wasn’t long until big sis Kourtney Kardashian modeled her own take on the tracksuit while traveling in Tokyo.

The takeaway: it’s chic to look athletic which means if you want to feel as comfortable as you are on-trend, you best get on board with the Kardashians. So what will it be: Spandex shorts or tracksuits?

Android P Features

Ever wanted to use your Android as a keyboard or mouse for your computer? That might soon become a reality according to a new discovery. The revelation follows a series of Android P leaks, as well as a rumor from a trusted source who said the first developer preview should be released in mid-March.

It may not be as exciting as Samsung’s new DeX Pad that turns Galaxy S9 phones into a full desktop PC when docked, but using an Android device as a keyboard or mouse might be a neat trick that some PC users might appreciate.

Trump’s Tax Plan Could Slow Home Value Growth In the Next 3 Years

In recent months, several blue-chip U.S. corporations have pledged to give workers hefty bonuses or pay raises because of the new Republican tax-reform plan. But don’t count housing experts among those glorifying the $ 1.5 trillion tax overhaul package President Trump signed into law in December 2017.

In fact, new changes to U.S. tax laws prompted 41% of survey respondents to lower their long-term expectations for the nation’s housing market. The findings are from the latest Zillow Home Price Expectations Survey. Over 100 housing experts and economists were questioned on their expectations for home price growth, and if tax reform influenced the predictions.

Home values in the U.S. totaled $ 31.8 trillion in 2017, up 6% from $ 29.9 trillion in 2016, Zillow reports.

But housing experts project appreciation to slow to below 3% by 2021, according to the Zillow survey. A possible reason for the decline is fear that cutting taxes when the American economy is already running at full capacity increases the risk of a downturn in the next five or so years. The drop could push the Federal Reserve to increase interest rates faster than had been expected, says Zillow Senior Economist Aaron Terrazas.

Slower appreciation, of course, would be bad news for people who rely on homeownership to help build wealth, including millions of African Americans. One of the biggest benefits of home appreciation is it allows homeowners to sell for a higher price and boost their net worth.

Efforts to get a comment from the Trump administration were unsuccessful.

Forty-one of those surveyed reported their overall housing outlook is now more pessimistic after being asked how the new tax law impacted their five-year forecast for home values in the U.S. Some 31% had a more optimistic view, while 28% said that tax reform did not change their outlook.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, enacted in December 2017, limited many itemized deductions such as the mortgage interest deduction while expanding the standard deduction. Most taxpayers take the standard deduction and will see take-home incomes increase as a result of tax reform, providing a boost to spending, savings, and investment this year.

“By expanding the standard deduction, tax reform will put more money into the typical American’s pocket in 2018, which will boost spending and could help renters save faster for a down payment,”  Terrazas says. “But the longer-term outlook is less rosy. There is some concern that tax cuts at this point in the business cycle may be throwing fuel on an already ranging fire and could lead the economy to overheat. Most economists we surveyed see a stronger outlook for the housing market over the next year or two but a more pessimistic outlook on the longer horizon.”

In the near future, experts raised their predictions from previous surveys for home values as limited inventory and high demand keep prices moving higher.

Homes today are less valuable than they would be if the last recession had not happened. If the housing bubble and bust had not occurred, and home values had instead appreciated at a steady pace, the median home value would be about $ 214,500, 4% higher than its current value of $ 206,300.

What the Coolest Girls Will Be Wearing for the Next Three Months

Even though we’re jumping at the chance to try out spring’s coolest trends, sometimes the chilly weather just won’t permit wearing flirty dresses and breezy tops. So what’s a fashion girl to do when there are so many fresh trends to start wearing already?

To help beat the remaining winter blues, we’re doubling up on bright, fresh springtime pastels. Though the outfits ahead could technically be worn in winter (especially if you live somewhere like LA), fashion girls are already swapping their dark neutrals for a seasonal color palette fit for the first day of spring.

Plaid pants get a stylish makeover in baby blue and yellow. This look is giving us major ’90s nostalgia due to the fuzzy sweater and chunky sneakers.
Stripes always seem to be a springtime classic along, with florals. (Groundbreaking, we know). But there’s something about graphic, abstract stripes that feel really modern and cool.
Not a pastel type of person? Test out bold primary colors like cobalt blue and canary yellow for a fresh look with a bit of edge.
Once again, a primary color palette is totally winning us over here. We love the combination of blue, yellow, and red grounded with classic black.
If you’re going to pick just one spring-inspired color to wear right now, may we suggest yellow? The bright shade is a bit unexpected which makes it that much cooler. Test it out in a fun pair of trousers and keep the rest of the look neutral.
Okay, this wouldn’t be a spring outfit roundup if we didn’t include the color lilac. There’s no doubt that this shade of muted purple is the It color of the season.
Like we’ve said before, yellow is one of the coolest colors to try for spring. Pick one piece to wear the color in and pair it with black for a bold, cool-girl look.
The suiting trend is reimagined when rendered in vibrant fuschia. This playful statement-making set couldn’t be further from the traditional stuffy suit.
Mark our words: Cargo pants are back. (Shocking, yes, but we’re into it.) When paired with tough combat boots and a graphic sweater, the loose-fitting pants make for a casual combo that Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber would approve of.
To make any look spring-ready, pick up a fun bag like this bright-yellow Gucci one that speaks for itself.
Ready to test out the season’s freshest colors? Dip your toes in by trying out a look similar to this one. Throw on a bright jacket over your otherwise toned-down outfit, or go into full-on spring mode by layering bright blues with yellows and reds.

Report: Leaked specs and release date for LG’s next flagship smartphone

LG G7 release date

Last month we learned that LG, after repeatedly failing to compete with its rivals on a global scale, would be reviewing its next flagship phone – presumably the LG G7 – and possibly starting from scratch. An LG spokesperson even went on record to assure consumers that “the successor to the G6 is on schedule” a week later, but it seemed doubtful that LG would be ready to pull the curtain back by the time MWC 2018 rolled around in February.

Today, a new report from VentureBeat appears to confirm that suspicion. Apparently, LG’s next flagship phone carries the codename “Judy” (LG often uses female names for codenames), and will be unveiled this coming June.

Jessica Jones Season 2 Is Netflix’s Next Marvel Binge. Here’s What to Expect

Marvel’s best whiskey-swigging, gritty heroine Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is back and still fighting demons from her past. The last time we saw Jessica Jones in season 1 of the Netflix series about the superhero, she had finally vanquished Kilgrave (David Tennant) and started answering calls from people around New York needing her help as private investigator. She later appeared in Marvel’s The Defenders, joining streetwise heroes Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist to take down their enemies in the Netflix series.

A look at Netflix’s trailer for season 2 of Jessica Jones finds the angry superhero detective examining the details surrounding her parents’ death and the mystery of the experiments that gave her extraordinary powers. It also appears her tormenter Kilgrave will return to the series — whether he comes back to life or is appears in Jessica’s flashbacks remains to be seen.

Netflix

Season 2 of Jessica Jones hits Netflix on March 8. Here’s what’s ahead for the hero.

Jessica Jones season 2 trailer

The trailer for the second season of Jessica Jones reveals little about the plot of our main hero’s new adventures. She’s still drinking a lot. And while she is trying to piece her life back together, Jessica can’t seem to shake the “super vigilante shit” constantly being thrown at her, as the the events of season 1 and The Defenders make her known throughout New York for her powers. The circumstances of her family’s death in a car accident and the murky way she received her powers further haunt Jessica.

“I have 17 years of questions, and they are deep,” she says in the trailer.

Jessica Jones season 2 cast

Netflix

As she tries to crack the case of her own origin story, other figures from her past and current life appear in Jessica Jones season 2. Her best friend Trish Walker appears to be on her way to becoming Marvel hero Hellcat, a sidekick to Jessica and superhero in her own right. Known as Patsy Walker in the comics, Jessica Jones‘s Trish came to her friend’s aid more than once in season 1. This time around, it looks like Trish may get a little more to do as she jumps to Jessica’s defense — whether the angsty detective likes it or not.

“Jessica might not want a sidekick, but she needs one,” she says in the trailer.

Other returning figures include David Tennant as Kilgrave, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse and Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth. It’s unclear whether Mike Colter will return to reprise his role as Luke Cage.

New cast members will include Janet McTeer (Me Before You, Damages) in an unrevealed role and J.R. Ramirez (Power, Arrow) as Oscar, a single father who is the new superintendent at Jessica’s building.

Jessica Jones season 2 villain

Jessica’s antagonists are still everywhere in season 2 of Jessica Jones. One of her oldest enemies, Kilgrave, or The Purple Man — who despite dying at the end of the first season — still appears to live on in some form or another in the new season (Tennant was confirmed to return to the series). The trailer does not show the circumstances of Kilgrave’s return, but reveals a pair of hands clapping three times while Jessica has a purple light shone on her, hinting that she hasn’t fully shaken one of her biggest enemies.

Other enemies abound — Jessica is looking for the shadowy figures who performed experiments on her as a child and a mysterious man wants to take over her detective agency. The trailer further warns of a killer beyond Jessica’s control.

Where Jessica Jones season 2 fits in the Marvel-Netflix timeline

Jessica Jones season 2 comes after the events of the Battle of New York shown in the 2012 theatrical release The Avengers, which the first season acknowledged and does again in the new series when a child asks Jessica if she knows Captain America. New Yorkers are also aware that she teamed up with heroes Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in The Defenders, hence the ramping up of higher vigilante demands. New seasons of Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are also coming to Netflix, though specific premiere dates have not been announced yet.
