Miami Giving Spree: Drake Donates More than $100,000 to Those in Need

Well, there’s one platinum-selling rapper who’s making philanthropy part of “God’s Plan.” Aubrey “Drake” Graham has been spreading the love like it’s Christmas with recent acts of kindness in Miami. According to reports, he recently footed the bill for customers’ groceries at local supermarket Sabor Tropical and then ventured to a women’s shelter to donate big bucks.

On Monday, after a surprise visit to Miami High School where he reportedly gave $ 25,000, he set social media abuzz when he stopped by Sabor Tropical and paid customers’ tabs to the tune of $ 50,000. The generosity continued on Tuesday when he made a stop at the University of Miami to gift a student a $ 50,000 scholarship and continued to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter to give another $ 50,000.

Apparently he’s on an achievement high since his current single “God’s Plan,” a song which he’s shooting a video for at various locations in Miami, hit No. 1 on the Billboard singles chart. It also broke Spotify and Apple Music’s single-day streaming record. Billboard reports that in its first two weeks on the chart, the song has had “two of the five biggest streaming weeks of all time,” and it has reached 83.3 million U.S. clicks, in its second frame. Last year, Drake was one of the top five most wealthy hip-hop stars, earning an estimated $ 94 million, according to Forbes, from tours and endorsements for Nike, Apple, and Sprite. The young boss, who backed Virginia Black whisky and launched his own October’s Very Own (OVO) record label, tour, merch, and clothing line, has also recently set his sights on the lucrative world of entertainment, recently partnering with Apple Inc., Netflix, and other film studios to produce and star in his own sports-centered content.

California Shooting Spree Stemmed From Neighborhood Dispute

Police in Northern California said the gunman who killed four people and wounded 10 others Tuesday had an ongoing dispute with a woman who lived in his neighborhood. That woman, who filed a restraining order against him earlier this year, was one of the first to be killed in the rampage. The Associated Press reports that the gunman—who was identified by multiple news outlets as Kevin Neal—had stabbed the neighbor during a dispute in January. Neal’s mother told the news agency that she had paid the bond to have him released from jail. Neal reportedly told his mother the day before the attack, “I’m on a cliff and there’s nowhere to go.” Police say they responded to another “domestic violence” incident involving him on Monday. “This was a bizarre, murderous rampage (to) get even with a neighbor,” said Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston.

Lost Weekend: All About Scott Disick’s ‘Vulgar’ Behavior During Latest Hamptons Day-Drinking Spree

Scott Disick’s summer of partying continues.

The reality star, 34, stopped at Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach Hotel in the Hamptons, New York, on Sunday — and while he only stayed for about an hour, Disick made his presence known.

According to Johnny Sturges, a Sunset Beach lifeguard who was on duty at the time of Disick’s visit, the father of three arrived intoxicated around 2:30 p.m. with a group of men and women before continuing to drink at the bar, where he was “saying a lot of vulgar comments to girls right next to him.”

The 34-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star snapped photos with guests, including Sturges and a coworker, and hit the beach in search of more to drink.

“These girls that were sitting on the beach, they were drinking and he asked them for a beer,” Sturges says, adding that Disick made a vulgar offer to the women before he successfully scored beverages from two families while in the Hamptons. “They looked at him weird.”

By the time Disick — whose nine-year relationship with Kourtney Kardashian ended in 2015 — was ready to take the shuttle boat back to the hotel, he was “really drunk, chain smoking cigarettes and had his shirt off,” Sturges explains. “He was yelling, ‘Go to the boat, go to the boat.’ ”

A source tells PEOPLE that Kardashian — who is the mother to their three children Mason, 7, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 2 — is aware of Disick’s Hamptons vacation and “thinks he should be at home with his kids instead of out partying.”

Earlier this month, Disick took a boys trip to Miami and hung out with Bella Thorne in New York City after initially getting together at the Cannes Film Festival. He broke up the partying with a trip to Nantucket, where he joined Kardashian, 38, and their kids for family lunches and low-key quality time together.

“He’s partying hard, but he is still good with the kids,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “He will stay sober when he is around them.”

Another insider told PEOPLE recently that Disick’s bad-boy behavior stems from jealousy and pain from his “fractured” relationship with Kardashian.

“In his ideal world, he would still be with Kourtney. He wants her back, but he just isn’t taking the steps needed to make that happen,” said the insider, who added that “Scott is really sad about it, and it’s part of why he’s lashing out.”
