Ben Foden confesses he’ll always love ex-wife Una Healy and regrets cheating on her in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

BEN Foden as admitted he’ll always love his ex-wife Una Healy and regrets cheating on her in candid admission on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The rugby ace, who announced his divorce from Una on dating app Bumble last August, is in a new relationship with gym bunny Miriam Murphy.

Speaking on tonight’s Stand Up To Cancer special on Channel 4, Ben admitted: “My life’s a bit of a mess. I’ll always love Una. She’s my first love and the mother of my kids. I never meant to hurt her in the way I did.

“I think it’s quite appropriate to do a course like this to put some perspective on everything.”

Love rat Ben previously insisted his infidelity was not the only reason for their divorce.

The sportsman and the pop star announced their split last summer amid claims that Foden had cheated on his wife during her second pregnancy.

However, Foden has confirmed that he was unfaithful.

And he claimed he deserves all the negative publicity, saying: “at the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so because I was the one who committed adultery.”

In an interview with the Guardian, he revealed: “At the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through.

“It’s not ideal, but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it, we’re not the first people in the world to get divorced. We’ve got two little kids we adore.”

Foden, 33, tied the knot with former Saturdays star Una in Ireland in 2012. The pair have two children, daughter Aoife Belle, six and Tadhg, four.

The family had planned to relocate to the US last autumn as Foden had signed for New York team Rugby United.

Yet their plans were left in tatters after Una discovered his infidelity.

Foden continued with the move while Una has remained behind, dividing her time between the UK and Ireland.

The flame-haired stunner has also found love again with Irish hurling star David Breen. After initially keeping their romance under wraps, she recently took to social media to share snaps of them together.

Meanwhile, Foden is enjoying career success in America, but he admitted the move stateside has been difficult because he misses his family.

He explained: “It’s hard because I’m away from my son and daughter.

“But I know they’re in a great and loving environment with Una because she’s a great mum. We never argue about that.”

The sports star was left red-faced last year when it emerged he had set up a profile on dating app Bumble just weeks after his split from Una.

Yet he has now revealed that his estranged wife actually set up the account with him, explaining: “I picked up Una from the airport a couple of weeks after we’d first been here, and we were sort of joking about dating.

“So I loaded up Bumble, and we did the profile together, joking around.

“And then I realised something dodgy was going on with it and the next day it was all over the paper.

“It’s not ideal, but at least I can laugh about it and especially so with Una. If she hadn’t known about it I can see it would have been a bit of a knife in the back.

“But we were messing around, so we can laugh and she can call me a bit of an idiot.”

Question you always wanted to ask flight attendants

Whether you’re interviewing for a brand new flight attendant or finally want to grow your wings and fly, there are five questions and good answers that often come up at interviews.

What would you do in an emergency?

Flight attendants need to be responsible for looking after the passengers and crew while in the air – even in an emergency. Interviewers will often look for people who can make decisions quickly while still keeping calm. Reassuring the interviewer you would fit your own oxygen mask before helping others and talking them through the structured emergency plan are two ways you can demonstrate you know how to remain calm under pressure.

What would you do if someone was frightened of flying?

Many passengers can become irritated during flights and is likely to be something that many flight attendants need to deal with in their careers. One of the most essential skills to demonstrate is empathy teamed with a positive attitude. People in the interview should state how they would ask if the passenger was alright before offering anything that might help put them at ease, and reassuring the passenger anxiety while flying is a common issue.

How would you cope with someone ignoring the safety instructions?

This is a way to show the interviewer that you have conflict management skills as you try and calm down a passenger and explain the importance of listening to the safety instructions. If that doesn’t work, then stating how you could ask for help from other cabin crew and inform the pilot as a last resort are also good answers that show how you think on your feet and work as part of a team.

How would you cope with conflict with a co-worker?

Working as a flight attendant means you will often be close to many other people all trying to do their job. Many of us have had conflict with co-workers in the past, and it’s important to demonstrate how we overcame the barriers. Offering up examples of what happened and explaining how you were both able to put the situation behind you is an excellent place to start. Be sure not to blame anyone else for the conflict in your answer.

How do you handle new environments?

Of course, being a flight attendant means you will be traveling all around the world and need to adapt to many new environments along the way. This answer is a way to describe that you are flexible, know how to adjust to and learn about other cultures, and are willing to discover any new country along the way. Examples of how you have done this in the past can help to showcase your adaptability to change.

Being a flight attendant means we often get to fly all around the world, but there can be many valuable skills that come with the job. The interview is the perfect time to learn all about these key talents while letting your personality shine through at the same time.

Getting a Tax Refund is Not Always Good

Despite the news that more tax paying Americans will have to pay more taxes due to Trump’s “tax cut,” many people are anticipating their tax refund. What has been celebrated as “bonus money,” is actually a financial facade of a bigger issue. The most common cause of a tax refund is tax credits, like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), for low-income households, particularly with children. Also, entrepreneurs and homeowners are able to leverage qualified tax deductions, which can produce hefty tax refunds. However, if you receive a large tax refund, but do not qualify for the EITC and are not a home or business owner, then, Houston, we (may) have a problem, as the saying goes. Here’s why getting a tax refund is not always good.

3 Reasons Why Getting a Tax Refund is Not Always Good:

Gives the Government an Interest-Free Loan

Outside of tax credits, like the EITC, or business and homeowner tax deductions, a tax refund is the payment of overpaid taxes to the government throughout the year by an individual or household.

“Essentially, a tax refund is an interest-free loan that consumers give to the government,” explains Edeline Dryden, CEO of Dryden Tax & Accounting Services.

Cheats You of Needed Cash

As workers wait for their tax refund, they are giving the government the use of their hard earned money to run or “shutdown” the government. This leaves many workers to struggle financially, living paycheck to paycheck throughout the year.

The amount of income from the paycheck withheld for taxes is determined by the W-4 completed when hired. The reality is the last time the W-4 was updated was when the person started their job.

Neglecting to update or complete the W-4 correctly can cause the over payment of taxes to the government.

Dryden suggests “Review and/or update your W-4 at least annually, as necessary. The goal is to keep that income in your paycheck to use throughout the year.”

More Money Magnifies Bad Money Behaviors

As Biggie Smalls said, “More money, more problems.” If a person has poor spending habits, having access to more money will just magnify that bad behavior. Even with good intentions of saving and paying off debt, financial fornicators may surrender to the temptation of excessive spending of the “bonus money.”

“If spending habits are questionable,” Dryden advises “divide the refund into three even categories. These categories can include savings for emergencies, debt repayment, and spending for pleasure or necessity.”

By breaking the refund into these three categories, you will start a savings safety net, knock down some debt, and enjoy some of the cash so you won’t feel deprived.

Dryden also shares a few ways to make sure you get the most out of your paycheck throughout the year:

Adjust withholding to get your money throughout the year

If you have life changes, like a marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, death of a spouse or child, or even an income change (i.e., pay raise); your W-4 should be updated appropriately. This will ensure that your employer is not withholding more than necessary.

“The real winner of the tax game is the person who doesn’t owe taxes or gets minimal or no refund.” Dryden explains, “This means they kept their income throughout the year.”

Dryden recommends speaking with a tax accountant or tax professional for assistance in completing the W-4 correctly.

Use the extra income to pay off debt or build your emergency fund faster

“Use that extra income in your paycheck to pay off debt or to build your emergency savings fund.” says Dryden.

The importance of having an emergency fund was realized when over 800,000 federal workers and contractors did not receive paychecks for over 30 days due to the government shut down. The extra income is an excellent opportunity to build a savings fund for unexpected emergencies, job loss, etc.

The extra income can also be used to pay down debt to produce more future disposable income.

Use the extra income to invest

Some people try to rationalize a tax refund as a forced savings technique.

Instead of giving the government an interest-free loan, keep that extra income throughout the year to invest and earn more money.

“Increase your contribution to your Employer-Sponsored Retirement Account, like a 401K, 403B, 457, Thrift Savings, etc.,” recommends Dryden. “Or set up a direct deposit or automatic transfer to a brokerage account. Instead of buying stuff — buy stock.”

Dryden recommends speaking with your employer’s retirement investment administrator or a licensed investment adviser for assistance with stock investments.

Roger Mathews Claims J-Woww Is Lying About Abuse – Claims She Has Always Been The Violent One

According to a report from Us Weekly, Roger Mathews recently took to his personal website to release a long article about what he considers to be the truth of the matter regarding his bitter – and very public – fight with his estranged wife, Jenni “JWoww” Farley.

In a post encompassing 6,000 words, Roger accused the reality star of lying about physical violence in their relationship, placing the blame on her for what he describes as abuse. The reality star, Roger, said in his blog post that he wonders why nobody ever asked him about the supposed abuse he inflicted on her.

The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star accused his estranged spouse of bragging about stabbing both of her ex-boyfriends, as well as being the “true aggressor” in their altercations. Roger accused JWoww of even punching him in the face one night.

Moreover, Mathews claimed that the 32-year-old reality star threw a candle as well as a vacuum cleaner at not only him but their two-year-old son, Greyson. However, Roger did admit to shoving her on several occasions but claims his actions were in retaliation against her aggression.

According to Roger, there were moments in their marriage that were truly a “nightmare.” The reality star supposedly has incriminating footage of JWoww but has chosen not to release it because he feels it’s “ethically wrong.”

Roger went on to say that he is not the monster she has portrayed him to be. The reality star’s post went on in the same vein for literally thousands of words, accusing Farley of being the abusive one in the relationship, and in general, offering his side to the story.

As it was reported previously, Farley and Roger’s situation has been quite nasty for the last few months, following Farley’s filing for divorce last year in September after just a three-year marriage. On the 30th of January, Jenni accused Roger of being abusive on her own website.

Furthermore, she released footage online in which it appeared as though Roger shoved her. Mathews accused JWoww of “playing the victim” in the situation.

Shane Filan: Westlife will probably always be a four-piece

OHMYGOSSIP — Westlife “probably” won’t ever reunite with Brian McFadden.
Shane Filan has insisted the Irish band – completed by Markus Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan – have seen the ‘Flying Without Wings’ hitmakers as a four-piece ever since they broke up in 2011, and don’t see Brian, who left in 2004, ever returning to the group.
Shane, who hasn’t spoken with the 38-year-old singer in a decade, told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “We will always see it as a four.
“It’s nothing against Brian. It’s just he left and we went on and became a four-piece. We’re still a four-piece and we will probably always be a four-piece. I haven’t spoken to Brian in 10 years.
“We did nine years without Brian. We made six albums without him. It would be different if we all ended six years ago and we were a five-piece and now we’re four.
“But we have been a four for three-quarters of the band’s time, including the time off.”
The band’s manager, Louis Walsh, previously admitted he only wanted the “Fab Four” to be involved in any reformation, not Brian, who left the band to pursue solo projects, and said “never say never” to rejoining his former bandmates in the future.
Louis said of their reunion: “Brian won’t be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally.
“The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife.”
The 66-year-old Irishman said he wanted it to be just the four of them because they’d be “happy”, and said it was more convenient considering three of them all live in the same town.
When asked if Brian begged to be included, the former ‘X Factor’ judge replied: “No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people.
“They all know each other, they all respect each other.
“Three of them live in the same town in Sligo, so it makes more sense.”
The band made a comeback last week with their Ed Sheeran-penend single, ‘Hello My Love’, and have a new album and upcoming 20th anniversary tour.

This Woman Was Always the Bridesmaid, So She Decided to Start a Business

“This one’s Michigan, this one’s California, this one’s Florida, this one’s also Florida, this one’s New Jersey, this one’s New York, this one was Florida, and this one was in Long Island…”

Jen Glantz is rattling off states with perfect recall as she thumbs through a closet full of satin, charmeuse and chiffon — most in various shades of pastel. Each bridesmaid dress is well worn, from deodorant stains to tattered hems. Each carries a story.

Sure, plenty of us have at least one or two bridesmaid dresses shoved in the back of the closet, never to be worn again. Glantz has enough to rival a bridal boutique.

And no, it’s not just because she has a lot of recently wed friends — although that is a factor in her story. Glantz is up to her ears in dresses because she makes a living as a professional bridesmaid.

From Bridesmaid to Bridesmaid for Hire

How does one find herself in the business of being a professional bridesmaid? Let’s back up to 2014, when Glantz was 26 years old — or as I like to affectionately call it, “Fridge is Covered in Save the Dates” years old.

One day towards the end of June, Glantz received not one but two phone calls with hopeful brides-to-be on the other end, bearing the same question: “Will you be my bridesmaid?”

In that year alone, Glantz found herself taking on the mantle of bridesmaid four times.

She was so well versed in the art of bachelorette parties, rounding up unruly bridesmaids and holding up poofy wedding dresses that she was practically a professional. And throughout it all, she noticed a common trend in the wedding industry.

“There was nobody there whose job it was to help the bride,” says Glantz. “If the bride had a wedding planner, she was so busy setting up the wedding. If she had bridesmaids like myself, we were very distracted, and we didn’t know how to help her.”

Glantz decided to capitalize on this gap in the industry and put her finely honed bridesmaid skills to work. She posted a Craigslist ad: Professional Bridesmaid – wfw – 26 (NYC).

Let me be there for you, she implores future brides with not-so-great options in the bridal party department. Let her “make sure bridesmaid #4 buys her dress on time and doesn’t show up three hours late.” Let her fill a spot if “you don’t have any other girlfriends except your third cousin, twice removed.”

Within two days, Glantz had received over 250 responses.

Clearly, there was a demand for a service that offers the chance of a stress-free wedding. So Glantz decided to start her own business, Bridesmaid for Hire.

Living In a Perpetual Wedding Season

In the four years since that fateful Craigslist ad, Glantz has worked with more than100 clients all over the country.

She has expanded her services and become the ultimate bridesmaid boss, offering various levels of bridal-related help and working with five to 15 clients a month.

For the bride-to-be who just needs a bit of a nudge in the right direction, she offers one-on-one coaching for $ 179. Someone thinking of hiring a wedding planner can turn to Glantz instead for day-of coordinating services, which range from $ 850 to $ 1,350.

Then there’s the ultimate package: A full-fledged bridesmaid for hire, which can cost upwards of $ 4,000.

But this package doesn’t mean Glantz will simply show up on the day of the wedding, ready to walk down the aisle. She works with brides for anywhere from three months to a full year before the wedding date, helping all along the way.

“During that time, we get to know each other… I’m there for all of the big milestones,” says Glantz. “One thing I’m super proud of is that I help people save money, so I’ll look at vendor contracts and say, ‘They’re ripping you off, you can save money here.’”

And it’s not just the brides that Glantz offers her expertise to. Maids of Honor who are a bit unsure how to move forward can get a crash-course coaching session for $ 99. Or maybe the MOH just doesn’t have a way with words. Lucky for her, Glantz offers speech-writing packages ranging from $ 200 to $ 375.

That way, the MOH can avoid the dreaded awkward silence after an inappropriate inside joke falls flat. #blessed

It’s Not All Wedding Cake and Bouquet Tosses

You might be thinking something along the lines of “I could totally do this job,” but keep in mind just how many services Glantz offers.

In reality, this gig is nothing that like that movie “The Wedding Ringer.” Glantz isn’t just attending party after party, dancing the night away and munching on wedding cake — although we can all agree that wedding cake is definitely a perk.

Glantz is a personal assistant, planner, coordinator, coach, shoulder to lean on, speech-giver, peacekeeper and situation-diffuser all wrapped up in one — usually in some version of chiffon.

One wedding, she might be “Jen Smith” and makes sure that a bachelorette party actually gets planned when the maid of honor drops the ball. At another, she’s known as “Jen Cohen” and saves the day with her emergency pack full of Band-Aids and stain-remover sticks.

Along with the pseudonym, she’ll have a different backstory explaining how she knows the bride, since most don’t particularly care to explain that they hired a bridesmaid. To some, the idea of assuming a new identity and attending a stranger’s wedding might sound strange, but Glantz insists that it all feels very natural and authentic to her.

“I’ve always thought to myself ‘This is what I’m meant to do,’ and I know that sounds crazy because who thinks they’re meant to be a professional bridesmaid?” says Glantz.

Recalling the first wedding she ever worked, she says she got off the plane in Minnesota and thought to herself “Jen, what are you doing?”

But everything went off without a hitch, and she finally felt like she was doing something she was meant for. Glantz says she’s always had the skills that make her so good at this, such as dealing with challenging or dramatic situations.

And everyone knows that weddings are rife with drama, right?

Always the Bridesmaid Entrepreneur

Glantz’s experiences as a professional bridesmaid and CEO have led to other opportunities. She freelance writes for major publications, speaks at conferences and has written two books, “When You Least Expect It” and “All My Friends are Engaged.”

Between Bridesmaid For Hire and her other endeavors, Glantz says she earns tens of thousands a year.

Always looking ahead, she’s expanding her services with Bridesmaid for Hire. She recently started offering packages for mothers-of-the-bride, who need their own type of support but often get forgotten.

She’s hired a few people along the way, including another professional bridesmaid, but has decided to offer another service to hopeful employees instead of hiring them.

“I always have people who want to work this job, so I started a franchising program where people can come learn exactly how this business works and then start this business for themselves wherever they live in the world,” she says.

For $ 249, you can learn the tricks of the trade, such as the ins and outs of the wedding industry, how to brand your business and how to secure clients.

One can hope that future bridesmaids-for-hire share Glantz’s sentimental feelings about the business.

“I feel very lucky with this job because I get to be present at one of the best and happiest moments of a person’s life,” she says. “It’s taught me a ton about love, it’s taught me a ton about weddings, and it’s really shaped how I feel about relationships.”

And if they’re anything like Glantz, maybe they’ll end up with a closet full of bridesmaid dresses of their own, unwilling to part with them and the memories they carry.

Kaitlyn Blount is a staff writer at The Penny Hoarder. She is currently planning her own wedding, a maid of honor in another… and a bridesmaid in another. Maybe she could use some of Glantz’s professional help.
