Perhaps you’ve noticed that former Vice President Joe Biden is in a bit of hot water this week. Several women have come forward accusing Biden of being too handsy when meeting women and young girls. There are several videos of Biden touching girls that are hard to ignore.
The videos are hard to ignore. Since then, Biden has come forward and issued an apology about his interactions.
While there are some who believe Biden has recognized and acknowledged his wrongs, there are others who are still skeptical.
There have been some interesting people who have come to his defense. Alyssa Milano, one of the more outspoken members of the #MeToo movement defended Biden.
But she wasn’t alone.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms also shared her support.
There are those who took issue with Lance Bottoms’ tweet, believing that it was insensitive for those who did feel uncomfortable in Biden’s presence. People believed that maybe this wasn’t the thing to say because it cast doubt on the experiences of other women who’ve come forward.
See what folks had to say below.
What do you think about Lance Bottom’s tweet? Was it insensitive? What do you make about the accusations against Biden? What I do find particularly interesting about Biden’s recent troubles is the fact that the Obamas have yet to speak on all of this.
