Naomi Campbell damn near broke the Internet on Thursday when she stepped out for Paris Fashion Week rocking a completely new hairstyle: short, cute curls with caramel-colored highlights… and fans are here for it!
The iconic supermodel is known for her long, sleek, tresses parted down the middle. She shared a few images of her stunning new mane on social media, and reactions from some of her follows ranged from “I am LOVING the new look Queen Naomi” to “Totally in love with this look! Naomi, you’re even prettier if this is possible!”
Naomi was among the many stars who filled the front row Thursday morning in Paris to support Virgil Abloh’s second show for Louis Vuitton Homme, reports aol.com. She sported a muted tailored blazer over a Louis Vuitton pleated dress, the outlet noted.
The award-winning fashionista, whose career has spanned decades, launched a Youtube channel in December that gives fans an inside look into her personal and professional life as a businesswoman, activist and model.
She previously said of her new online series “Being Naomi”:
“I want to show the world who I am and what I stand for. My hope is that when you engage with my channel that you are inspired by what you see, that it pushes you to be the best you can be, to do your part in the world and to pursue your dreams.” She continues, “I am honored to be able to share my life on YouTube and to have the unique opportunity to communicate my story in my own voice.”

On Twitter, Campbell noted that the latest new episode is “all about my experience working on the ‘In The Closet’ music video, with two incredible talents who I was lucky enough to call friends Michael Jackson and Herb Ritts,” she wrote.
Fans of super model Naomi Campbell got a surprise gift from their hero over the holidays as she shared a rare look at her natural hair while on vacay in Kenya.
Campbell, 48, known for her long, jet-black waist-length hair extensions, decided to show off cornrow braids, in a selfie posted on her Instagram during the trip.
“Bare it all. done in Kenya #NAOMIAFRICA,” Campbell captioned the photo.
Her fans wasted no time letting her know that approve!
“That’s right sistah! Rock your natural hair! I wish I could be your personal natural hair stylist!” one fan commented. Another fan wrote, “You are the most inspiring person I have ever seen I love you for being you, u are giving women the power to be themselves and not apologize for it! Bless you .”
Despite wearing her hair in extensions, wigs and weaves for most of her career, Campbell told the Evening Standard last year about how its taken a serious toll on her natural hair over the years.
“I do take more care of my hair now, because I lost all of it with extensions. I am more careful and I do different things,” Campbell admitted.
She added, “Everybody in the world wears wigs. It doesn’t matter anymore. I do what I want, or whatever the job calls for.”
And there’s this. Campbell’s natural selfie comes just days after the model was named the new face of NARS Cosmetics’ spring 2019 campaign, which marks her first beauty contract of her more than 30-year career.
THE INTERNET’S A STAGE: The supermodel who needs no introduction is getting personal with her own YouTube channel.
Naomi Campbell will today launch “Being Naomi,” on the video platform. She says she hopes the channel will give her fans an inside look into her life as a businesswoman, activist and in-demand model, and open up opportunities for them to communicate with her — plus show viewers the kinds of charitable causes in which she participates.
“I want to show the world who I am and what I stand for,” Campbell explains. “My hope is that when you engage with my channel that you are inspired by what you see, that it pushes you to be the best you can be, to do your part in the world and to pursue your dreams.”
Campbell has a slew of video features slated for her channel in the near future, including a livestream of the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa. The model will also be telling the story of how she was discovered in a feature titled “My Journey,” to be released on Dec. 13, and will share her New Year’s resolutions in a video on Jan. 3.

THAT TIME OF YEAR: Riccardo Tisci wasn’t kidding when he said he wanted to build a wardrobe for a mother and a daughter, a father and a son. “Why just offer one identity when you can really design for every age, for every culture and every different lifestyle?” said Burberry’s chief creative officer after his debut spring/summer 2019 show in September.
He’s sticking to his guns with the Christmas ad campaign, which will feature Naomi Campbell, her mother Valerie Morris-Campbell, actors Kristin Scott Thomas and Matt Smith, and singer-songwriter M.I.A. Tisci has tapped the British photographer Juno Calypso, who is known for her self-portraits, to direct and shoot the campaign, which will launch on Nov. 13 across all Burberry channels.
Last year, Burberry worked with Cara Delevingne and Smith, shooting them against a snowy backdrop in a retro, black-and-white video clip. Past campaigns have featured the likes of Lily James, Sienna Miller, Romeo Beckham and James Corden. While details of the new campaign remain under wraps, the brand hinted to the theme by releasing arty portraits of the five faces split in half and blurred into one another.
Activist investor Third Point LLC sued Campbell Soup Co on Thursday, alleging the soup and snack maker’s board misled investors about the competence of its directors and the way it carried out a recently completed strategic review.
Tevin Campbell may not have released a new studio album since 1999, but the 41-year-old is still considered a beloved musical figure. However, that hasn’t kept the trolls of today’s social media culture from persistently trying to paint Campbell a certain way.
There have been questions about drug use, rumors that he’s been a victim of molestation, and all sorts of comments about his sexuality. Whether or not he was gay became a big question following his arrest for soliciting oral sex from an undercover policeman in 1999. When it comes to his sexuality, the “I’m Ready” singer decided to let folks know this week, after being weary of ugly comments about it, that no matter what they say, it doesn’t matter. He can still sing circles around your faves.
“Y’all homophobes gotta do better,” he wrote on Twitter. “The thing you will never ever be able to say about me is ‘that boy can’t sing.’ That’s the day I will be sitting at home crying and that day will be never.”
I read the comments I done heard it all “his ass loose,” he a fag,” “he gay as hell,” y’all homophobes gotta do better the thing you will NEVER EVER be able to say about me is “that boy CANT saing” thats the day I will be sitting at home crying and that day will be NEVER
Campbell has spoken about his sexuality in the past. During an interview with former publication Sister 2 Sister, he told Jamie Foster Brown that he’s “try-sexual,” which is a way of saying he’s “open-minded.”
“I’m not gay, but there’s a lot of different things that I do like, sexually,” he said. “Being in the business, you are introduced to a lot of different things. I’m not gay, but I’m a freak and I think a lot of people know what a freak is.”
He also told IMissTheOldSchool back in 2009 that his sexuality shouldn’t be of concern to others.
“That’s nobody’s business. If someone is interested in me and they wanna be my friend or whatever, then we can talk. It’s nobody’s business what I like to do behind closed doors, just because I am a celebrity,” he said. “I hate that. And I like the fact that people wanna know. Let ‘em wonder. I like to leave a little bit to the imagination. But if you happen to get to know me and we hit it off… I share a lot of personal things with friends, which is a normal thing to do.”
After Thursday’s tweet, the real question is…when are we getting some new music, Tevin?!
