TwitterFacebook

Writer Chuck Wendig explained in a series of tweets that he has been fired by Marvel Comics from its Star Wars titles for “the negativity and vulgarity that [his] tweets bring,” referring to his Twitter responses to disgruntled Star Wars fans.

Wendig is known for writing the Star Wars: Aftermath novels, which drew ire from fans over its gay protagonist. Tyler, The Creator’s Latest GOLF le FLEUR* Converse Collaboration Could be a Chuck Taylor

So far, Tyler, The Creator‘s ongoing GOLF le FLEUR* collaboration with Converse has seen a number of reworks of the One Star silhouette. But, according to a new leak, his next release with the label could see him take on the Chuck Taylor for an understated new design.

Whereas most of the previous release have featured a bright color palette, the new design comes in a muted brown colorway. The classic Chuck Taylor canvas upper is replaced by a hopsack-like material. The sneaker’s upper is then finished with black detailing, including a GOLF le FLEUR* logo on the tongue and branding in reverse on one side. Lastly, the Chuck Taylor features the collaboration’s signature flower-print sole. There’s no news on when, or if, this collaboration will be releasing, but keep checking back for more information.

For more Converse collaborations, take a look at the next J.W. Anderson release as well as a skate video showcasing Virgil Abloh’s next sneaker with the brand.
