Demi Lovato dedicated an Instagram post to the best friends who were there for her in her most challenging times as she shared a photo from their recent vacation in Bora Bora on Tuesday, May 14.

“Thank you for never leaving me in my darkest moments, for always drying my tears.. even when they’re from watching Moana,” the 26-year-old added, tagging pals Sara Elizabeth Mitchell (a.k.a. hip hop artist Sirah) and Matthew Scott Montgomery.

#ThreeCourseMeal… just me and my best friends living our best lives.. Thank you for never leaving me in my darkest moments, for always drying my tears.. even when they’re from watching Moana.. thank you for being loyal, honest and so grateful for every little thing.. like crying because we swam with fish/sharks/stingray and coral reef. I’m so lucky to be best friends with two incredible souls who are so talented and creative because it inspires me daily. And you’re so supportive of me and every little thing I do.. You’ve traveled across the country to visit me and stayed with me at my house for days on end when I’m struggling to make sure I’m okay but most importantly you never abandoned me like others did when I was going through shit.. you were there to listen, without judgement and only love and I can never fully express what that means to me. Since the overdose, the “Confident” singer has sought treatment twice and has gotten a tattoo to celebrate six months of sobriety. “Demi is determined to stay motivated and sober,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “She knows at the end of the day everything is reliant on her own decision-making process.”

Pat Cleveland’s Friends Help Raise Funds for Her Colon Cancer Treatment

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS: Friends and relatives of the irrepressible model Pat Cleveland are rallying around her to help finance her treatment for colon cancer.
In less than 24 hours, 121 people had contributed nearly $ 44,000 toward the $ 150,000 GoFundMe initiative as of early this afternoon. Cleveland’s husband, Paul van Ravenstein, said Monday, “The community is so supportive. It is just amazing to see everybody reach out.”
After having some strange digestive issues over the last few months, Cleveland sought medical advice in New York. Cleveland helped to break racial barriers on the runways in the Sixties and Seventies. Unlike many of her peers, Cleveland continued to model through the years. Once fashion week got underway in February, she was busy in New York, and then off to Europe for the Laura Biagiotti and Missoni shows in Milan, followed by Tommy Hilfiger’s Zendaya show in Paris, her husband said. Earlier this month Cleveland made an appearance at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ opening for its Thierry Mugler exhibition.
About 10 days ago in Paris for her daughter Anna’s birthday and a hair show for L’Orèal, Cleveland sought medical attention due to increased discomfort, her husband said. When the consulting physician checked back with

In attendance were a few of her RHOA co-stars, including Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Hampton, and new moms Shamea Morton and Kenya Moore. Neither Williams nor McKinley have posted pictures of the event, but by the looks of things it seemed like a fabulous affair.

It’s been an amazing year for Williams who met McKinley in 2018 and succumbed to the rapture of love. Now the two are anticipating their little one, while remaining in the bliss of celebrating their engagement.

But the couple also has more to celebrate. According to The Jasmine Brand, Bravo cameras will document the arrival of their little one with a spinoff to RHOA.

No word on when the special will begin to air, it’s really all up to baby PJ!

Avril Lavigne still ‘friends’ with ex-husbands

OHMYGOSSIP — Avril Lavigne is “still friends” with her ex husbands.
The ‘Complicated’ hitmaker is now romancing new beau Phillip Sarofim – whom she recently revealed she has been dating secretly for a year – but has said she still maintains “good connections” with her two former spouses, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, whom she was married to from 2006 to 2010, and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, whom she divorced in 2015 after a two-year marriage.
Speaking during an appearance on SiriusXM show ‘The Morning Mash Up’, Avril said: “I’ve had really great relationships and good connections and bonds. Some might say because we’re Canadian but before him, Deryck Whibley from Sum 41, we keep in touch and like our moms hang out.
“They were like my long terms. Deryck and I were together for six and a half years and that’s a long time. It’s a whole chunk of your life. Chad and I are still friends and we work together. I’m glad it’s like that, it makes me happy.”
This isn’t the first time the 34-year-old singer has spoken about her close bond with her former husbands either, as she recently said they are still “like family” to her.
She said: “They’re just good people. We had marriages, we lived together, I knew their families, they knew mine, we just stayed close and there’s a mutual respect … Chad, in particular, we’re actually really close, because that was a more recent relationship. He was with me through a lot and is a really protective person in my life. He’s still like family. I didn’t know that it would be that way, and I’m really glad it is because we were friends and we made music together. We’ve just kept the friendship and continued having a working relationship, as well.”
Avril revealed her relationship with Phillip earlier this week, as she said they had celebrated their first anniversary together over Valentine’s Day (14.02.19).
She said: “I’ve dated a couple people over the last few years, but obviously I don’t really wanna talk about it. Actually, it was our one year anniversary on Valentine’s Day.”

Production Halted On ‘Friends And Family Hustle’ After T.I.’s Sister Injured In Car Accident

T.I. and Tiny have shuttered production of their reality show, Friends & Family Hustle because the rapper’s sister (and cast member) was involved in a serious car crash.

We’ve learned that last Wednesday,  T.I. and Tiny halted production after learning that, Precious Harris, was injured badly earlier that morning. The incident also triggered an asthma attack for Precious.

Here’s MORE via TMZ:

It’s unclear what led to the car crash but here’s what we know … sources say Precious hit a pole, which triggered an asthma attack. The 66-year-old — who often appears on the show — was taken to a hospital where she’s now in ICU. Her exact condition is unknown.

We’re told Tip and Tiny were devastated and decided it was best not to move forward until Precious pulled through. T.I.’s incredibly close to his sister and so is Tiny.

For Precious’ 66th birthday bash last May, Tiny gave her a shout-out and said, “I hope you know how much u mean to me. Always been my road dawg. Love u much! Hope you enjoyed your day!!”

Would You Let Your Besties Choose Your Date? This New App Gives Your Friends Control Over Your Love Life

Source: tdub303 / Getty

How much do you trust your besties? Enough that you would let them pick your next date? New dating app “Ship” allows friends to pick potential matches for each other.

The idea is that your closest friends know you better than you may know yourself.

Aleen Kuperman, Jordana Abraham and Samantha Fishbein, creators of the meme account Betches, created the app to help daters have assistance in their mate selection process.

Dating apps are a huge part of today’s dating culture and people in relationships are begging their single friends to let them swipe for them,” the Betches founders said to The Independent.

“We felt like there could be a better way to incorporate your friends into your online dating experience,” Kuperman, Jordan, and Fishbein explain.

While the founders believe that getting your friends to dictate your dating decisions is a noble idea, dating coach James Preece thinks it may be a bad idea, considering we may tell our friends what we want versus what we need.

“Our friends know what we tell them,” Preece described.

“What we say we want, what we think we want, what we need and what we can get are all completely different things,” he expressed, meaning our friends may not be able to accurately guess our tastes.

The app also has an option where you can invite your friends into a “crew,” where everyone can swipe on each other’s behalf.

In theory, choosing dates for your friends sounds fun, but proceed with caution. Your friends could be choosing traits for you that they like, that have nothing to do with your own personal preferences. Dating and relationships psychologist Madeleine Mason Roantree says that your friends may choose dates for you based on their own agenda.

“The more open and honest you are to your friends about who you are and what you are looking for, the greater the chance of success you’ll have on this app,” Roantree told The Independent.

‘Fox & Friends’ Host: Immigrants Might Kill Your Children

Fox

Ainsley Earhardt is angry.

The Fox & Friends co-host spent the morning fear-mongering with context-free examples of violent crimes allegedly committed by undocumented immigrants in the United States, claiming that “illegal aliens,” once in the country, will commit atrocities against American citizens and their families.

“You’re waking up this morning you’re trying to put food on the table, you’re going to work—many people go to jobs they don’t like—and then you look at the numbers,” said Earhardt. “You’re spending about $ 80,000 over the course of one of those illegals’ lifetime to keep them here in the United States. You’re paying for them, and you’re working hard to pay for them.”

‘Fox & Friends’ Applauds Ellen for Backing Kevin Hart: ‘Political Correctness Pushed Back!’

Ellen DeGeneres has been facing some rare and serious backlash on Friday after the daytime talk show host revealed during a new interview with Kevin Hart that she had personally called the Academy to convince them to reinstate the comic as host of this year’s Oscars. But she also has some defenders over at Fox & Friends.

After the Fox News morning show reported the story, Brian Kilmeade defended Hart for “taking a stand” when old homophobic tweets and jokes of his resurfaced last month after he had been announced as host. The Academy gave hart a chance to apologize but he initially refused, deciding instead to relinquish the opportunity.

“For Ellen to tell him, I want you to go do it, I think he goes and does it,” Kilmeade added, excitedly.

Rob Kardashian’ imaginary friends

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian still spoke about his imaginary friends until last year.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star’s sister Kim Kardashian West revealed Rob would refer to his imaginary friends Pablo and Ronald from time to time, up until the last 12 months where he hasn’t mentioned them since.
In a bonus clip from Kim’s appearance on Busy Philipps’ E! talk show, ‘Busy Tonight’, she said: “My brother has – I don’t know if he still does – but he had, for a really long time, two imaginary friends – Pablo and Ronald … My brother literally has talked about these guys like, up until last year. He has one more, I can’t remember his name.”
Meanwhile, Rob – who has two-year-old daughter Dream with his ex-partner Blac Chyna – has largely remained out of the public eye in the recent years and even shunned his family’s E! reality show.
In a court declaration, he shared: “I have not participated in the filming of any episodes since this summer when [Chyna] filed a request for a restraining order against me. Her request was widely publicised and I was scrutinised by the media. It has been an extraordinarily difficult time for me emotionally and I have no desire to continue participating in the reality show. I would like to maintain my privacy, try to recover from the emotional damage of the past several months, and explore other business ventures.”
Rob has also been battling with his ex-partner Blac Chyna in court over child support figures for their daughter Dream, two, but the pair have both agreed to stop the fight over the festive period and it is hoped they will be able to sort out a settlement privately. Sources said the duo were expected in court last week but it had mysteriously disappeared off the schedule.

Why Potlucks are the Perfect Alternative to Expensive Dinners With Friends

The death of the dinner party is one of the greatest tragedies of our generation. (Just kidding. Everything is terrible.)

The reality is it’s just too expensive (and stressful) to cook a full meal for 12 people. And you can pretty much forget about all of your friends being able to spring for an extra dinner out at the same time — which gets even pricier if they have kids and need to hire sitters.

But friendship and food are as integral to the human condition as saving enough money to, ya’ know, pay your bills and stuff. So what if I told you there was a way to have your cake (for free!) and eat it, too?

Well, in an effort to bring back the dinner party without all the stress and $ $ $ involved in a Betty Draper-style affair, I present for your consideration: the dinner potluck.

In Defense of the Potluck Dinner Party

If the word “potluck” conjures up visions of sweet old ladies sampling 15 variations of the same tuna casserole, it’s time to redefine the group dining experience.

Here, you’ll find tips for organizing the perfect potluck so you can stop stressing and spending — and just enjoy the meal.

1. Create a Guest List

This should be your first consideration. Are you inviting your book club? The parents from your kid’s play date group? People from your Thursday night cornhole league? A weird amalgamation of every friend group you’ve ever been a part of?

Whoever they are, the people you invite are going to set the tone for your evening, and it’s easier to make some decisions, like a theme and location, based on the guest list.

Also, don’t forget that brunch can be a potluck. Instead of going out on the weekend and dropping $ 50 on mimosas, invite your brunch-y friends over and ask them to bring a shareable breakfast-y dish!

2. Pick a Theme

A potluck without a theme is like a 3-year-old’s storytelling: plotless and mildly frustrating.

To avoid the weird plate combination of seven-layer taco dip, salmon mousse tartlets and ambrosia salad (why?!), pick a theme for the night that your guests can work within. Something broad like Italian or Thai will bring about one cohesive meal, but if you’re feeling a little adventurous, make the theme as specific as “tomatoes” or “street food.” This will force people to get pretty creative!

You could also make it a game, such as having everyone bring their own variation of mac and cheese, or assign each dish a number and anonymously vote on the best at the end of the night. Winner gets a prize! (Or gets to take all the cheesy leftovers home.)

3. Send Out a Sign-up Sheet

Use a site like Signup Genius or Perfect Potluck to make it simple to coordinate dishes. The host fills in details like location, dish suggestions, and any food allergies or dietary restrictions the group should be aware of, and the guests sign up for whatever they want to bring.

Make sure to include cups, plates, napkins and plasticware on the sign-up sheet! Unless you want to shell out for paper products or spend the next four days of your life washing dishes, let guests sign up to bring these items as well.

Note: If you’re a micromanager, the potluck party format may not be for you. The fun of potlucks is seeing the variety and creativity your guests bring to the table — literally. Make sure you have all the categories covered: appetizers, sides, main dishes, desserts and drinks. Then, let your guests do the rest. Don’t worry about creating a specific menu.

4. Make Some Rules

Alright, so a few rules can’t hurt.

Ask your guests to bring their own serving spoons (and serving dishes if you’re trying to get a little fancy), along with a food storage container from home. That way, they can take advantage of any leftovers without you having to hunt down your entire Tupperware collection later on.

Request that no one brings anything they need to cook on-site. You should limit oven use to “warming.” There’s no bigger bummer than setting out a freshly cooked dish after everyone is already stuffed!

Also, remind your guests that a potluck dish doesn’t need to feed the whole party. A four-person serving goes pretty far when each guest is sampling a little bit of everything.

5. Focus on the Setup, Not the Food

Since the guests will cover the majority of the food, you can spend your time focusing on your home. Tidy up, set up extra tables and chairs, and prep the kitchen for the food — but don’t go wild deep cleaning.

The point of a potluck is a casual gathering of friends, not a formal, crazy-making dinner party!

Hook up a power strip so guests can plug in slow cookers if needed, create a pour-your-own drink station (low-maintenance party = low-maintenance drinks), set out trivets and extra spoons (people will forget, trust me), and provide a stack of notecards and pens for people to label their dishes with when they arrive.

6. Have a Good Time

And then chill out — because you’re not cooking eight different dishes — and wait for your guests to arrive! Make yourself readily available in the kitchen for last-minute setup and “hey, do you have an extra…” questions, but don’t spend your whole evening in there.

All you need to worry about is chatting with your guests and enjoying your budget-friendly, low-maintenance, stress-free dinner party.

Besides, it’s easy to relax when you know that cleanup consists of a trash bag and a quick kitchen wipe down — and, oh yeah, that final awkward attempt at getting the lingerer to pack up their dish and get out so you can get back to your latest Netflix binge.

‘Friends’ forever: How the show about pals in a coffee shop became a hit

It’s a hit that wouldn’t happen today.

A network sitcom about six straight, white, privileged twenty-somethings? Who spend their time hanging out at a coffee shop? A comedy that could not be less edgy?

But “Friends” turned out to be just what 1994 needed.

And we may need it even more right now.

Judge Napolitano Teaches Basic Civics to Desperate ‘Fox & Friends’ Hosts

via Fox and Friends

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News’ longtime senior judicial analyst, appeared on Fox & Friends early Thursday to teach the hosts a basic civics lesson in light of President Trump’s announcement this week that plans to end birthright citizenship through an executive order.

Though hosts Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy appeared eager to find a method to carry out Trump’s proposed policy, Napolitano dashed their hopes with a sit-down worthy of a 7th-grade classroom.

“Look, the president can’t change the plain meaning of the Constitution with the stroke of a pen,” Napolitano said.

Blac Chyna Gets Emotional In Beverly Hills While On An Outing With Friends: ‘They Can Say Whatever They Want About Me’

Blac Chyna was recently spotted on a night out with her pals in Beverly Hills last Friday. She seemed a bit overemotional, as Daily Mail puts it, while she was leaving a steakhouse with her pals.

She was with a female friend, and she told her the following: ‘I want to get my message out. Go out and vote. It’s midterms.’

She also continued and said ‘I’m doing good and my kids are doing very well.’

Daily Mail reports that Chyna went on: ‘I keep quiet, I keep silent. Do you want to know why? Look up your religion. Get more informed. They say whatever they want about me. I look at it and laugh. You know why? Because it’s all false.’

Just recently Chyna discussed other subjects as well such as new music.

‘I’ve been working on some music. I never been the type of person to really coast. I just want to test all my boundaries to see if I can kind of do it,’ she told DailyMailTV.

‘My music is kind of fire. I have a little bit of singing, a little bit of rapping and I have a little love song.’

She also stated a little while ago that she would definitely consider getting back together with Rob Kardashian, but her baby daddy did not address the issue, at least not in public.

Speaking of Rob, Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni begged him via social media to let her see Dream Kardashian in a really emotional video.

Here’s why everyone’s talking about Jennifer Aniston’s controversial Friends revelation

And we can’t deal

Rex

After ten years of being there for us, Friends left our screens in 2004 – leaving a Central Perk shaped hole in our hearts – and we’re still not over it.

Yes it may have been 14 years since Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Phoebe and Joey made their last appearances but it still feels like it was just yesterday.

We’re still deeply invested in Rachel and Ross’ tumultuous relationship, we’ve never given up hope on Parker (Alec Baldwin) coming back into our lives, and are we the only ones confused by our feelings for Ben now that he’s grown up and starring in Riverdale?

Despite their relationship statuses being more uncertain than Brexit and the characters moving house and changing their jobs far too frequently, there was of course one constant on the show, Rachel Green’s perfect hair.

From the iconic bob to the long layered look, everyone wanted ‘the Rachel’, no matter what season we were on.

The only issue of course was that no one was actually able to maintain ‘the Rachel’ other than Jennifer Aniston herself.

Flashback to all of us having a meltdown when we realised that we had cut all of our hair off and still looked nothing like Jennifer Aniston.

Yes, surprise surprise only Jennifer Aniston can pull of ‘the Rachel’ – a look created by iconic hairstylist Chris McMillan, but according to the actress, even she couldn’t handle the look.

While winning the 2018 Hairstylist of the Year award, Jen was given the honour of introducing Chris to the stage, but not before she told the whole world of the woes of ‘the Rachel’ upkeep behind the scenes.

‘You feel beautiful, you feel sexy, you feel alive, and then you feel screwed because no one has the ability to actually do what Chris did to this haircut,’ she explained to the audience. ‘I used to call it “The Rachel” years when I got that haircut. That was like “wow, this is amazing” and then I was totally left with this, like, Greek, frizzy mop on my head, because I had no idea how to do what he did.’

She concluded: ‘No one seems to know how to do what Chris does. I figured out that’s called creating job security, so well done Chris on that.’

Well at least it’s not just us that couldn’t cope with the iconic look – if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to burn all of the photos of us in the 90s.
