Beauty vlogger Tiffany Lynette Davis ordered a washing machine for her dollhouse, turned it into a beauty blender washing machine, and fans of the YouTuber are going crazy hoping to try it themselves. Found on Amazon for only $ 11, this could be a makeup sponge-cleaning hack worth the experiment.

Robert Downey Jr.’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’ post on Instagram will make you cry

Haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet? Well, SPOILERS AHEAD. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

I’ll give it a minute, in case any unspoiled eyes stray down — by accident or by “accident” — a few extra lines. Anyone who’s still here and reading should know that you’re entering spoilertown… right about… now.

The big knockdown brawl in Endgame‘s final hour is notable for a number of things, not the least of which is bringing back everyone who was dusted at the end of Infinity War for a final showdown with Thanos. Mixed into the high-stakes battle are some admittedly happy reunions — including a beautiful moment between Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Read more…

Megan Barton-Hanson’s terrifying Instagram post shows pal being attacked by thugs in London as she rages ‘This s*** needs to stop’

MEGAN Barton-Hanson shared harrowing footage of a close pal being brutally beaten on the streets of London, as she told fans “this s*** must stop!”

The Love Island star had been to a Ru Paul’s Drag Race event with her hair stylist before he was mugged near Oxford Circus.

Megan Barton-Hanson shared footage of a close pal being mugged on the streets of London

The 25-year-old TV personality shared footage of the attack – which she later clarified wasn’t filmed by herself – telling followers: “So this happened last night… My best friend that works f****ng hard for everything he owns got mugged… So disgusting. How safe our streets actually are?!”

In the traumatic clip, Megan’s friend can be seen in a yellow jumper as he lies helplessly on the floor in an attempt to defend himself from the attacking thugs.

After sharing the video, Megan told fans: “Makes me so angry! The amount of people carrying knives recently too, so lucky he just has bruises and a broken cheek.”

Telling followers that “this s*** needs to stop!”, Megan went on to discuss the recent burglary of her home.

Megan questioned the safety of London’s streets following the crime

She ranted: “First people come into my home and rob everything I worked my arse off for. Nights stripping physically sweating and people come and steal diamond rings, Chanel bags but also the sentimental things that can never be replaced. Then my friend, minding his own damn business gets attacked by three men and gets mugged.”

Megan’s pal has since updated his own social media to reassure friends and clients on his condition.

Megan recently admitted to photoshopping a dramatic makeover snap that won praise by fans and celebrity pals.

Her photoshop admission comes after she told The Sun that she is so body conscious her Instagram pictures are edited by a team of professionals.

She said: “I spent the whole of last summer in a bikini on TV and I post sexy pictures on Instagram but they’re edited and photo shopped by professionals.”

Louis Farrakhan Banned From Facebook & Instagram Alongside Right-Wing Nutballs

Facebook and Instagram took measures to ban Min. Louis Farrakhan from its social media services, lumping him with a pair of Right-Wing extremists who also were banned. Joining Farrakhan on the outs with FB and IG are Alex Jones and Milo Yiannopoulos.

Politico reports:

Facebook Thursday banned from its flagship social network and its subsidiary Instagram the Infowars site and its leader Alex Jones, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, saying their presence on the sites violated its policies against dangerous individuals and organizations.

“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement. “The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”

Facebook last August cited violations of community standards in removing pages belonging to Jones and Infowars, notorious for peddling unfounded conspiracy theories. The action came amid a flurry of suspensions and content take-downs for Jones and Infowars, which were also booted from Google-owned YouTube, Twitter and other platforms.

The outlet adds that the services also banned Infowars contributor and “New Right” advocate Paul Joseph Watson, and right-wing activist Laura Loomer.

In 2018, Facebook removed a video of Farrakhan referring to Jews as “termites.”

Instagram Introduces “Quiz” Sticker Function to Stories

Instagram continues to develop its user interactivity and focus on engagement with the announcement of a new “Quiz” Stories feature. The sticker joins the “Poll,” “Questions” and music functions and enables users to post a fully-customizable yes/no-styled question on their Story for their followers to interact with and vote on.

Followers simply have to tap on the answer of their choice to engage with the “Quiz” feature, which is available in two or four multiple choice options. Following the recent addition of the “Close Friends” Story function, the “Quiz” mode aims to encourage friends to test how well they know each other and offer a closer relationship between large accounts and their fans.

The feature has already started rolling out on users’ apps worldwide, and will be available on both iOS and Android versions of the social media platform.

In case you missed it, a leaked design prototype shows Instagram could be working on reducing pressures caused by social media.

Best travel accounts on Instagram

Does anyone else find themselves scrolling through Instagram for inspiration on what to wear, what to eat and where to go? We are always struck with intense wanderlust when we see beautiful beaches, colorful cities or mystical mountains, and it feels so much more natural to look through social media for our next vacation idea than to check out an old fashioned brochure! So, if you need some travel inspo, here are the best accounts on Instagram for travel.

ExpertVagabond (@ExpertVagabond)

Proving that it’s never too late to start traveling, Marr Karsten had never even left the US when he quit his job as a freelance photographer in 2010. He then spent the next seven years traveling all over the world, covering over 50 countries from Tanzania to Italy and Hawaii to Russia. Although he has since gotten married and very recently had a baby (in Poland where he and his fellow photographer wife were traveling), he still spends half of the year traveling, so there is still plenty of content to give you itchy feet!

Photo: @ExpertVagabond

Wander Reds (@WanderReds)

One thing we love about Alvaro is his ambition! He wants to become the youngest Spaniard to visit all 197 countries of the world, and he’s not too far off it. His captions are captivating, asking questions of his audience about things such as their dream jobs or whether it’s better to travel solo or with others. There is so much more to this account than just beautiful photography. Alvaro is an absolute inspiration as he started off juggling his travel plans with a 9-5 job (relatable right?!) although eventually, he was able to quit and travel full time (the dream).

The Road Les Traveled (@lesleyannemurphy)

If you recognize Lesley, it may be because she was a contestant on the ABC show, the Bachelor, however now she is a full-time travel blogger and yoga lover. She has over 407,000 followers who love to follow her luxury adventures to far off tropical paradises or staying in quirky accommodation. Although a lot of what she does might be out of reach for the average Joe, there is still plenty that is obtainable.

Photo: @lesleyannemurphy

Alex Strohl (@Alexstrohl)

With one of the largest followings on Instagram (2 million at the time of writing), there’s no way we couldn’t include Alex and his breathtaking photography of the adventures he goes on. From his home in Montana to Iceland, Portugal, and beyond, the vibrant colors of his shots will have you reaching for your credit card! Alex’s travel photography is so good that it actually been used in Vanity Fair and Land Rover campaigns.

Next time you find yourself wondering where to book next, hopefully, these Instagram adventurers will inspire you a little. Instead of visiting the same beach every year, try somewhere a bit off the beaten path and really enjoy a new experience. Of course, nothing is stopping you becoming the next big travel influencer online, so get booking those trips and snapping those candids!

Why you should be paying attention to the latest Instagram challenge

Listen up

If there’s one Instagram challenge you need to pay attention to this month, it’s this one. It has become one of the fastest growing hashtags in the UK in March, with more than 28k posts and creating an ever-growing community.

So what is it?

The #MarchMeetTheMaker2019 hashtag sees small business owners taking to the social media platform to show their followers exactly what goes on behind the scenes. Whether it’s talking about how they set up their business, showing the hard work and love that goes into creating every product, talking about making their brand more eco-friendly or simply sharing the bits that we never see on Instagram, it’s a breath of fresh air and an important place to be for anyone who wants to know the ins and outs of starting a creative business from the people who are doing it right now.

First created by Joann Hawker in 2016, it encourages small businesses to share daily posts about themselves and small company throughout the month – with a different focus point each day – so that customers can see through the gloss and get to know the minds behind it all.

Here are some of the creatives showing what #MarchMeetTheMaker means for them.

This homemade, sustainable, cruelty-free family run business has been sharing how much work goes into creating their range of creams, face masks and lip balms.

Marienne Cavaciuti makes handmade, nature-inspired ceramics and is showing customers that the ceramic making processes may be messy, but ends with a beautiful creation.

Owner Annah creates bespoke bags made out of vintage maps and has been keen to show how she reduces waste day to day.

Reducing waste. This is something that I’ve actively tried to do everywhere that I can in my studio! I’ve managed to tweak my pattern pieces, and cutting method, to mean that I waste only the tiniest bit of my backing fabric which is so satisfying! My fabric is printed to order which means minimal waste, too. . I recently switched to biodegradable poly bags which, although they’re ten times the cost, give me ten times more peace of mind! . . . #mmtm . . . . . . #marchmeetthemaker #marchmeetthemaker2019 #marchmeetthemaker19 #joannehawker #heytheremaker @heytheremaker @joannehawker #ukmaker #maker #ukmade #madeintheuk #smallbiz #smallbusiness #girlboss #selfemployed #map #cartography #vintagemap #homeiswherethehearti #reduceplastic #reducewaste

Day 8 of #marchmeetthemaker and it’s PRODUCT RANGE: My needle felted creations span the entire animal kingdom from sloths to kingfishers. My work is split between my own creations and commissions. The creations come from my imagination e.g bears in baths and moles with glasses and miniature books. They are often tongue in cheek and playful, giving them human personalities which my customers can relate to. . . My commissions tend to be pets (mostly beloved dogs of all breeds) and occasionally cats which I love creating in felt. They often take me longer to complete and a lot of love and care go into them as they are one of a kind personalised pieces which have a sentimental value to my customers. . I have included a few pics of the range of work I do for you to see; sloth, wedding mice, kingfisher, lion, terrier, cat, one eyed red setter! . #heytheremaker #makersgonnamake #joannehawker #needlefelting #productrange #animalsofinstagram #animalkingdom #needlefelting #felt #craftcommunity #sloth #mice #kingfisher #lion #dogs #humansbestfriend #smallbusiness #commissions #creations #handmadewithlove #bespoke #personalisedgifts

Helen creates delicately detailed and beautiful pieces of jewellery and is using her platform to show how exactly how her business works behind the scenes.

This eco-friendly cards and gifts company, and owner Megan is using the hashtag to show how much thought, effort and love goes into creating each product.

Rachael Hibbs Linocuts is a London based printmaker specialising in block print artwork which is printed onto anything from t-shirts to cards, and is using the challenge to showcase the maker behind the art.

Rose Agar is a print artist who has used this challenge to show the weird and wonderful range of products she can print designs on for her customers.

So whether you’re interested in starting your own crafty creative business, or you just want to find and support some new, smaller brands, check out the hashtag and see what you find.

You’ve still got a couple more weeks until the month is out.

Pink’s Savage Response To Instagram Troll Who Criticized Her Family Photo Is Best Clap Back Ever

Don’t come for Pink’s family time. The singer went full-on mama bear the other day when an Instagram troll criticized a picture of her with children, Jameson, age 2 and Willow, age 7, as well as her husband Carey Hart enjoying a fun dinner together.

“At least twice a week on tour, we shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner,” shared the loving mother.

It is a cute photo with the entire Hart clan enjoying some tacos. Unfortunately, not everyone who follows Pink had good things to say about the pictures. One Instagram troll had a beef with the mother of two sharing her quality family time on social media.

Comments by Celebs was first to notice the extremely unfriendly exchange between a protective mother and her critical fan or perhaps former fan now.

“Except it’s posted on ig,” wrote megablack921

The comment appears to be a response to the singer saying her family likes to shut out the world but then posts that private time on social media. Pink wasted no time defending her choice to share the family time picture, as well as giving a not so subtle reminder to the user to stop being a douchebag.

“yes I like to promote healthy stuff. I also like to remind people to stop being TOTAL D— BAGS TOO. Consider this your reminder, f—o,” she said in a response that was again captured by Comments by Celebs.

The user went on to tell the ‘So What’ singer that he or she was going to her show in Nashville but not anymore. Oh yes, the user was offended by the response and made it clear they are still a fan of the music, however the singer not so much.

‘That just makes you confused’ #CommentsByCelebs

A post shared by Comments By Celebs (@commentsbycelebs) on

Pink was not fazed at all by the reply and stood by her original answer, even calling the troll “confused.” Anyone who tries to criticize the mother of two should know she is not going to take it lying down.

There are so many times that a celeb can’t deal with the nasty trolls and defends their selves. Pink is one of the best at coming up with the most savage responses to those who believe they have the right to judge her life. It is merely one of the reasons she is an inspiration. You go, girl!

Queen Elizabeth posted her first Instagram message ever, and it’s so sneakily feminist

Queen Elizabeth posted her first Instagram message ever, and it’s so sneakily feminist

In case you didn’t know: Queen Elizabeth II is officially posting on Instagram. And she used her first message to the public to share an often overlooked piece of feminist history. On Thursday, March 7th, the monarch took to the Royal Family’s official Instagram feed to share a letter she discovered to her great-great grandfather.  “Today, as I visit the Science Museum I was interested to discover a letter from the Royal Archives, written in 1843 to my great-great-grandfather Prince Albert,” she began, explaining the letter was from Charles Babbage, who is credited as the world’s first computer pioneer.

“In the letter, Babbage told Queen Victoria and Prince Albert about his invention the ‘Analytical Engine’ upon which the first computer programmes were created by Ada Lovelace, a daughter of Lord Byron.”

Lovelace has been called the first computer programmer for her work and ideas. And while many of her contributions were not fully recognized until the 1950s, the early programming language Ada was named for her as a tribute to her groundbreaking work.

Queen Elizabeth closed out her message by explaining that since she “had the pleasure” of learning about children’s computer coding initiatives that day, the letter seemed “fitting” to share. She signed the post “Elizabeth R.”

Thank you for this feminist history lesson, Your Majesty!

This is what London street style looked like before Instagram

Another season of London Fashion Week is almost over, and with it another season of cool street style looks that will no doubt set the trends for SS19. But whilst we’re now used to seeing them all over social media (if it didn’t go on Instagram, did you even wear it?), that wasn’t always the case.

Ever wondered what Londoners wore in the 20s or 30s, or even the 50s? Well wonder no more, because Ancestry, which specialises in family history, just shared their fashion records with us.

This includes fashion shows dating back to 1916, including images of London’s best-dressed woman of 1937 – Rosita Forbes – sporting the year’s biggest trend of wide leg trousers, an Ascot riverside parade in Richmond, the evolution of the Crinoline, top models learning new makeup tricks and more. 13 Galentine’s Day Instagram captions that celebrate your ride-or-die

13 Galentine’s Day Instagram captions that celebrate your ride-or-die

13 Galentine’s Day Instagram captions that celebrate your ride-or-die

Before there was Galentine’s Day, February was all about Valentine’s Day. Fortunately, Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler) changed all that on Parks and Recreation back in 2010 when she created Galentine’s Day, a celebration of female friendship that falls on February 13th. Now that the 13th is here, it’s time to share the perfect Galentine’s Day Instagram caption that celebrates your ride-or-die. Whether you plan to post a throwback pic or a cute selfie from your Galentine’s Day party in real-time, it’s best to get prepared for one of the most important days on Instagram.

Of course, no words will ever quite convey your true feelings for your bestie. That’s probably why Leslie Knope originally celebrated Galentine’s Day by writing a 5,000-word essay describing what made her friends so awesome. You’re free to write a similarly extended message to your BFF to tell them how much you love and appreciate them, but that wouldn’t fit into an Instagram caption even if you tried. So if you want to celebrate the Abbi to your Ilana or the Ann to your Leslie, you might want to keep it short and sweet on Instagram—and maybe even a little bit sassy.

Your bestie deserves the best caption, so here are some great options.

Plus, it’s obviously gonna be a great picture.

1. For your partner in (hopefully not literal?) crime

2. For your party partner

3. Sentimental with a side of spooky

4. If you want to go full-on cheesy and sweet

5. Pay homage to a middle school classic

6. Celebrate both Galentine’s Day and Wine Down Wednesday

7. To remind your bestie that they’re stuck with you for life

8. When you want to celebrate the fact that you’ve mastered shine theory

9. Because Galentine’s Day is about flipping relationship clichés on their heads

10. If you’re posting a throwback picture to your skinny jeans days

11. When the word “friendship” just doesn’t seem to cut it

12. If you have a thing for rhymes

13. When your BFF is also your your greatest eating buddy

Your BFF will freak out when they see your caption.

That is, if they’re not right next to you when you write it.

Gemma Collins’ mum Joan shows off her incredible collection of dolls on Instagram

AS far as hobbies go, Gemma Collins’ mum Joan sure has her hands full looking after her daughters ‘diva’ demands, but it turns out she has another hidden hobby- collecting vintage dolls!

The GC’s famous mum – who shares the same name as the Dynasty actress- has been showing off her impressive collection of dolls on Instagram lately.

Gemma Collins’ mum Joan likes to collect vintage dolls for her home

Taking up a vast amount of space in Joan’s home, the dolls come in all shapes, sizes and styles.

When she’s not playing her part as Gemma’s agony aunt on Towie, Joan spends her time collecting antiques and vintage items to take centre stage in her Essex pad.

The Essex star even has names for some of her prized possessions, with one named Bella, another called Kitty Christmas and a third Tricksey Bell.

In a few images Joan even snaps photos which combine her love of gardening and the dolls, as she places them in her plant decorations.

However, one shot that divided her followers was of singular baby doll’s heads placed in a glass vase.

“That’s a wee bit creepy!” commented one fan.

Another said: “Erm what.”

A third praised Joan’s creativity, saying: “Fabulous idea.”

But fans commented that the baby doll heads were a step too far
Joan captioned this image: “Lets go out and play”

It’s not all about dolls over on Joan’s Instagram though, as she shared a video of herself and Gemma’s friends wearing masks of her face as they supported her on Dancing On Ice over the weekend.

Last weekend Gemma, 37, returned to the ice following a nasty fall during her performance the previous weekend that left her with painful injuries.

Now, Dan Whiston, the show’s associate creative director, exclusively told The Sun Online that he believes that this marked the beginning of a Dancing On Ice “curse”.

Dan thinks Gemmas fall has caused a curse on the contestants- including Melody

Ice skater Dan said of last week’s excessive injuries: “It was really, really awful. It was almost as if Gemma’s fall from last week’s show… it was a sign of things to come.

“Everyone was getting injured. She’s got black knees, they’re so bruised, she hurt her chest as well.

“People are pushing the boundaries so there are going to be these injuries.”

But it wasn’t just Gemma who has fallen in recent weeks, as her incident has seemed to have caused a domino effect among the other contestants.

Among the injured were Melody Thornton, who fell and hit her chin on the ice last week, Wes Nelson, who badly injured his knee during training, Jane Danson, who fainted during dress rehearsals, Ryan Sidebottom and most recently James Jordan.

But the creative director isn’t worried about the injuries putting the contestants off, adding: “They’re kind an army of robots this year, they’re not going to let anything get them down.

“Only the strongest will survive now as dramatic as that sounds.”

Influence Peddler: Thora Valdimars, Jeanette Madsen Bank on Instagram for Global Retail Hit Rotate

LONDON — Instagram labels may no longer be a novelty, yet Copenhagen-based influencers Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Madsen have been able to identify a niche in the saturated digital space and turn their nascent concept for dress label Rotate into a success.
Their recipe? Focusing on a single category, sweet spot price points, and a hefty dose of glamour and drama. They also have the backing of retailer Denise Christensen of the Danish retailer Birger Christensen.
They introduced the label just over six months ago, with a tightly edited collection of seven pieces, including short mini dresses with dramatic, puffy sleeves, wrap dresses in candy colors and crystal-embellished blazer dresses. All are priced between 240 pounds and 420 pounds.
The label quickly caught the eye of retailers such as Net-a-porter, Browns and Moda Operandi, which are now the brand’s three main international stockists. Just one season after launch, Rotate Birger Christensen became one of Copenhagen Fashion Week’s hottest tickets, with Mary, the Crown Princess of Copenhagen and influencers galore attending the show and sharing snaps of themselves in the brand’s attention-grabbing dresses. The hashtag #makeitrotate has given rise to a community of its own on Instagram.

Viktor & Rolf’s Couture Show Goes Viral on Instagram

Viktor & Rolf’s Instagram-inspired couture collection is coming full circle: It’s gone viral.
Taking inspiration from Instagram caption one-liners, like “Sorry I’m late, I didn’t want to come” and “I’m not shy I just don’t like you,” the brand’s fanciful collection of tulle ballgowns at Wednesday’s spring 2019 couture show has been flooding Instagram feeds and has even inspired a number of memes.
Artist and meme account Saint Hoax joined in on the fun with a series of altered images from the Viktor & Rolf runway featuring celebrities and quotes they’re infamously known for, like Lady Gaga’s overused “100 people in the room” story from the “A Star Is Born” press tour and one of Kris Jenner’s most memorable quotes from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

College Is For Suckas? You’ll Never Guess How Much Money Amber Rose Makes Off Instagram

The government shutdown had plenty of people considering new career paths with Uber and other creative ways to get by without a regular direct deposit occurring. One person that was clearly unaffected by Trump’s massive temper tantrum is Instagram favorite Amber Rose. The 35-year-old who was once Kanye West’s muse before he drank the Kardashian Kool-Aide recently sat down with Van Lathan as a guest on his podcast “The Red Pill.” Rose who is also affectionately known as “MUVA” shared with Lathan that thanks to Instagram she’s booked and busy and her bank account has no worries.

So how much money does MUVA make in a year? The blonde beauty shared that endorsements for flat tummy teas and popular clothing company, FashionNova as well as other collaborations bring in about a cool $ 2 million per year.

“Probably like $ 2 million a year, just off Instagram.”

While she isn’t exactly living check to check, she did point out that the payout was modest for a social media influencer:

“There’s girls that make more than $ 2 million a year, I make $ 2 million on Instagram a year.”

Like many of us, Lathan took a moment to highlight the millennial student loan-debt struggle sarcastically noting how some went to “college and bought into that bullsh*t, and Amber’s making $ 2 million off Instagram. Wow!” It’s also reported that Rose pocketed $ 4 million from an emoji app she launched in 2014. But MUVA maintains that while she’s been blessed in many ways, ultimately, she feels like the money moves are a result of her being a good person more than anything else:

“I feel like I made it this far by being a really good person.”

“I’m good to everyone I’m around. I treat everyone the same whether it’s a waitress or a driver or anybody. I take care of my team. I’m just a cool, down-home Philly chick.”

As much as I’m inspired by this tale of God’s favor for the fortuitous, I must say that I know plenty of “nice” women who treat those around them with respect that are still playing musical bills every month with their paychecks trying to see how they’re going to pay car insurance AND tuition for their kids. Are we really going to sit here and act like money falls from the sky simply because you acknowledged your Uber driver? Furthermore, as much as I applaud Amber Rose taking making the most out a few minutes of fame (I wouldn’t know who she was had it not been for Kanye), I would really appreciate it if many of these celebs were a little bit more honest about the connections that got them this far in the first place, but I digress.

You can watch Amber Rose discuss coins and congeniality, her thoughts on R. Kelly and her humble beginnings below at around the 1:20:00 mark:

Comedian Phoebe Robinson called out comedy clubs for allowing sexual predators to perform in a take-no-prisoners Instagram video

Comedian Phoebe Robinson called out comedy clubs for allowing sexual predators to perform in a take-no-prisoners Instagram video

After the #MeToo movement uncovered sexual harassment and abuse allegations against dozens of powerful men, many wondered how these accusations would affect the accused. A little more than a year later, some of these men, like Louis C.K., have already started to return to work. And in a January 23rd Instagram post, comedian Phoebe Robinson called out comedy clubs for allowing alleged rapists and predators to continue to have a platform.

In her video, Robinson revealed that she had recently been scheduled to perform a set at a comedy club, only to discover when she arrived that there was a “surprise, drop-in comedian” who had been accused of rape. The 2 Dope Queens host said she left, and she urged comedy clubs to do better.

“Comedy clubs, there of course is no HR, but we have to do better,” she said. “We can’t have alleged rapists, sexual predators, abusers performing on the show. It’s not safe for the comedians. It’s not safe for the audience. It’s f-cking disrespectful to the victims. And enough is enough. You can’t have those people on these shows, so knock it off, it’s not okay. Have some f-cking respect for the victims. This is disgusting behavior, and it’s gotta stop.”

Do better, comedy clubs, because I’ve had enough.

A post shared by Phoebe Robinson (@dopequeenpheebs) on

Robinson’s message comes at a critical time. For all the progress the #MeToo movement has helped to achieve, most accused rapists never face legal repercussions. According to RAINN, only 46 out of every 1,000 rapes lead to arrest, and only 4.6 end with the rapist imprisoned. And in many cases, men like C.K. (who has openly admitted to sexually harassing women) return to work despite their misconduct.

Giving sexual abusers a platform as if literally nothing happened ignores the trauma and experiences of their victims—and there’s simply no excuse. We’re so glad Robinson is speaking out about this. Now, let’s hope comedy clubs actually listen.

Amber Rose is Securing the Bag, Earning $2 Million A Year Off Instagram Alone

Amber Rose, the 35-year-old stripper-turned-model, claims that she nets about $ 2 million from posting on Instagram. Born Amber Levonchuck, the bi-racial beauty boasts 18.8 million followers on Instagram, where she frequently flaunts beauty, fashion, and diet products. And it turns out that these sponsored posts are helping her rake in major coins.

During an interview on The Red Pill podcast, host Van Lathan asked Rose how much she earns on the social media site. “Probably like $ 2 million a year, just off Instagram,” she said. “There’s girls that make more than $ 2 million a year, I make $ 2 million on Instagram a year.” Rose explained that she generates revenue through “all of her endorsement deals,” which have included companies like online retailer Fashion Nova and controversial weight loss products like BoomBod and Flat Tummy tea.

In response, Lathan joked that “a ni–a went to college and bought into that bulls–t, and Amber’s making $ 2 million off Instagram. Wow!”

Rose also opened up in the interview about her tough upbringing in Philadelphia, revealing that she initially started selling drugs as a means of survival before she began stripping as a teen.

“I usually don’t tell people this, but I tried selling crack in my neighborhood,” Rose confessed. “They said I was gonna get robbed, I was a girl and I was too pretty, and it wasn’t going to happen,” she said. “So what I did, I would bag it up for them, I would weigh it and bag up the crack rocks for them. And they would throw me some money.”

According to BankRate.com, Rose has amassed a $ 12 million net worth throughout her career as an author, media personality, music artist, and a former model signed with Ford Models. She also launched her own emoji app that reportedly earned $ 4 million in 2016. She gained her claim to fame as a video vixen and by dating Kanye West from 2008 to 2010.

In 2016, Rose appeared on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and became the ambassador for the SlutWalk, an annual women’s empowerment march to combat rape culture. That same year, she has teamed up with Zoobe, a character voice-messaging app that creates 3D characters.

Chrissy Teigen thanks John Legend for supporting her ‘Instagram dreams’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen has thanked her husband John Legend for helping to make her “Instagram dreams” come true.
The 33-year-old model – who has kids Luna, two, and seven-month-old Miles with the chart-topping musician – has taken to the photo-sharing website to jokingly praise John for consistently helping her to capture perfect, Instagram-ready images.
Alongside a short video clip of John photographing her, Chrissy – who has more than 21 million followers on the platform – wrote: “thank u for always supporting my Instagram dreams. This train only moves because of you(r phone) .. you are the tracks that lay the foundation .. creating a direct path to hope and possibilities of likes and curated content. what u do is important. I will never take u for granted, my king (sic)”
Meanwhile, Chrissy previously claimed that the internet has changed her life.
The model admitted that her use of Twitter and other social media platforms has changed the public’s perception of her.
She shared: “Guys have always come up to me since I did Sports Illustrated. But now, they all say the same thing: ‘My girlfriend loves you.’ And I couldn’t be happier.”
Chrissy also claimed that one of the keys to her relationship with John is that they have contrasting personalities.
She explained: “He’s quieter than me, which isn’t saying much. But he’s more thoughtful, whereas I’m spur of the moment.
“I can’t hide things very well. If I feel it, you’ll see it on my face, but he’s better at covering. I was never that big into music. Still to this day, I’m very Top 40. And I’m more emotion-based than him. I can see everybody’s side of an argument.”

Counting On Fans Are Shocked By Lauren Swanson’s Scandalous Look In Josiah Duggar’s Latest Instagram Post

Counting On star Lauren Swanson has only been married to Josiah Duggar for six months, but it looks like they are already tired of the pregnancy rumors. After posting pics on Instagram where Lauren is bundled up in coats, not facing the camera, or only showing herself from the shoulders up, fans started wondering if the 19-year-old was expecting her first child. The newlyweds finally put the pregnancy rumors to rest – at least for now – by sharing a photo where Lauren showed off her tiny figure in a tight red dress.

“Can’t believe it’s already been six months since I married you! You were the best decision I ever made! Love u, sweetheart,” wrote Josiah in the caption.

Lauren was standing next to their Christmas tree in the photo, taking down decorations. And, fans loved the long-sleeved, knee-length dress (and the chunky black heels) that Lauren was wearing. They immediately started to ask how they could get their hands on one for themselves.

One fan wrote, “Ask Lauren where she got that dress! It’s super cute!!!” to which Josiah responded, “She got it off Amazon.”

“Lauren, I love your dress!!!!!! So cute!” wrote a second fan, while a third chimed in, “It’s a beautiful dress.”

According to Life & Style, it was a bit of a surprise to see Lauren in such a modern look. We all know how much the Duggars love their conservative fashion, and in the past Josiah’s mom Michelle has said that their interpretation of modesty is that everything should be covered from neck to knee.

“My kids are taught the definition of defrauding as stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled. We don’t believe in defrauding others by the way we dress,” Michelle said in a 2013 interview.

As the Duggar girls grow up – and the Duggar boys get married – we have started to see some more “liberal” fashion choices in the family. Michelle has been wearing shorter skirts, Jinger has been rocking jeans, and Jill wore tank tops this past summer.

As for Lauren, we haven’t seen her in pants or tank tops yet. But that could change soon. One thing is for sure, we won’t see her in maternity clothes this winter. There was zero room for any kind of bump in that red dress.

Lauren Swanson and Josiah Duggar return in new episodes of Counting On later this year on TLC.

Naomi Campbell Goes Natural In Instagram Post

Fans of super model Naomi Campbell got a surprise gift from their hero over the holidays as she shared a rare look at her natural hair while on vacay in Kenya.

Campbell, 48, known for her long, jet-black waist-length hair extensions, decided to show off   cornrow braids, in a selfie posted on her Instagram during the trip.

Instagram Photo
“Bare it all. 🙌🏽 done in Kenya 🇰🇪 #NAOMIAFRICA,” Campbell captioned the photo.

Her fans wasted no time letting her know that approve!

“That’s right sistah! Rock your natural hair! I wish I could be your personal natural hair stylist!” one fan commented. Another fan wrote, “You are the most inspiring person I have ever seen ❤I love you for being you, u are giving women the power to be themselves and not apologize for it! Bless you ❤.”

Despite wearing her hair in extensions, wigs and weaves for most of her career, Campbell told the Evening Standard last year about how its taken a serious toll on her natural hair over the years.

“I do take more care of my hair now, because I lost all of it with extensions. I am more careful and I do different things,” Campbell admitted.

She added, “Everybody in the world wears wigs. It doesn’t matter anymore. I do what I want, or whatever the job calls for.”

And there’s this. Campbell’s natural selfie comes just days after the model was named the new face of NARS Cosmetics’ spring 2019 campaign, which marks her first beauty contract of her more than 30-year career.

Yungblud And Halsey Go Instagram Official Following Her Breakup With Rapper G-Eazy

On Wednesday, Halsey shared a photo of herself, seemingly proving that she has a brand new man in her life. The 24-year-old singer shared a photo with Yungblud, her rumored boyfriend yesterday on the 2nd of January.  Halsey posted a photo with Yungblud in which she walked alongside the rock musician in his country, England. He wraps his arm around her back and she wrote in the caption, “Camden: now with a cuter filter.”

The pair has been spotted several times since November, however, this new Instagram post marks the first moment where she appears to make it look official for all of her fans and followers to see. In other words, they’ve made it Instagram official.

As it was previously reported, Halsey and G-Eazy called it off yet again three months ago. Their on-and-off relationship has ended an innumerable amount of times since they first began dating.

camden: now with a cuter filter 🖤

A post shared by halsey (@iamhalsey) on

Initially, they were in a relationship together for 9 months before finally calling it off in July 2018. They got back together a month later and then broke up again in October.

A source who spoke with Us Weekly said they “just can’t seem to get past their previous issues.” At G-Eazy’s Halloween party, he allegedly was “all over” other girls right in front of her – probably revenge for her choice to hook up with MGK on their break.

And after their second split, Halsey and G-Eazy again stopped following each other on social media. Since then, the rapper has been spotted getting comfortable with the production designer, Christina Roseanne Ray, although, reports indicate it’s nothing serious.

As it was mentioned above, during the summer months, Halsey and G-Eazy’s relationship was called into question yet again after fellow rapper, Machine Gun Kelly, bragged about sleeping with her on Funkmaster Flex’s radio show.

It was a shortlived beef which lasted with only two diss-tracks in total but earned significant media attention for a short amount of time. Afterward, MGK released a diss-track against Eminem, in what was arguably the most publicized beef in 2018, next to the one between Drake and Pusha-T, and then Kanye and Drake.

Omarian Dragged By Baby Mama On Instagram

Moneice Slaughter had social media on fire over the holiday when she accused her baby daddy Lil Fizz of dating Apryl Jones. Jones is the mother of Omarion’s two kids.

Omarion and Fizz are B2K bandmates.

When the group recently announced a reunion, Apryl hit up social media and blasted Omarion for being a deadbeat.

Jones hopped on Instagram Live to speak her truth about her break up with the singer and she revealed that he had the nerve to serve her court papers on Mother’s Day.

The former “Love & Hip Hop” star admits that their relationship was rocky even while they filmed the reality television show.

Watch her spill her own tea in the IG embed below.

Instagram Photo

“You don’t ever know what’s going on behind closed doors,” Jones said. “It was a lot that was happening. I wasn’t completely happy.” She later added, “I’ve been quiet for way too long. The fool won’t even talk to me. How am I supposed to deal with someone like that?”

When it comes to child support, she alleges that Omarion has hidden all of his assets so she’s basically “getting nothing”. Apryl claims he has manipulated his financial documents to appear he isn’t making much money.

She says another major issue is her relationship with Omarion’s mother, and how her ex puts his mom before Apryl and the kids.

“I’ve protected that man for 3 years and I gave up 5 years for that relationship.”

According to Jones, not only does Omarion barely provide financially for the kids, he doesn’t see them often either. She also wants the haters who claim she’s a golddigger to know that she has yet to take him to court for child support.

“He is going to take his kids as he should,” Apryl vowed in her Instagram Live post. “Y’all going to see him more with them.”

“Y’all going to see me working more. I am able to provide for my children, but because he is not helping me, I don’t have a sitter, a nanny or any help. His family doesn’t help me. It’s difficult.”

Meanwhile, “LAHH: Hollywood” star Moniece Slaughter hopped on Instagram to share a picture of her holding the hand of a mystery man. Fans began questioning if the male in the photo was Fizz’s and her response sparked even more controversy. She claimed the male couldn’t be Fizz because he (and her son) was in Chicago with Apryl, The YBF reports.

Apparently Apryl and Fizz are dating and Fizz and Omarion aren’t cool.

The two women decided to hop on Instagram Live to hash it out.

Instagram is about to get even more cliquey

Buckle up kidsInstagram is about to get even more cliquey.

The app added a new “close friends” feature that will let you post Stories that are only viewable to a select group of your followers. What could go wrong, right?

Instagram first teased the feature, then called “favorites,” last year in response to the growing popularity of “finstas,” secondary, often secret, accounts that people use to share content within a smaller circle of friends.

Now, more than a year after it started testing the tool, it’s rolling out “close friends” to everyone. The feature, which will be in the latest version of the app,  allows you to specify whether you want all your followers to be able to view your Story or only the select few whom you’ve designated as “close friends.” Read more…

The Japanese beach that became an Instagram sensation

Chichibuga beach on Shikoku island was barely known until photographs of stunning sunsets started to appear on social media. Now visitors flock to capture images of the fiery sea and skies at dusk

People were running down the beach. Not for exercise but to get into position before the sun slipped below the horizon. I hurried along, swept up by the sense of urgency. Mini tripods were lined up on the sand at the water’s edge, and selfie sticks were held aloft. Groups of friends, silhouetted against the pink sky, were trying to synchronise their star jumps, while women instructed their boyfriends on exactly how to photograph them as they stared into the sea. One woman posed holding her pet dachshund. The entire beach was a mass Instagram shoot.

Say What Now? Mother Among Four Arrested for Trying to Sell Babies on Instagram

Indonesian authorities busted a child trafficking operation that involved buying and selling babies on Instagram.

via CNN:

Four people were arrested, including a 22-year-old mother and 29-year-old suspected broker in Indonesia’s second largest city Surabaya, police said in a press conference Sunday.

A midwife and a suspected buyer were also arrested on the resort island of Bali.

Authorities were alerted to an account on the popular photo-sharing site with the handle “Konsultasi Hati Privat,” or Private Heart Consultation, that presents itself as offering pregnancy consultations and adoption services.

However, police said they have found evidence that monetary transactions were being carried out.

The head of criminal investigation unit in Surabaya’s police force , AKBP Sudamiran, said Tuesday that his team foiled an attempt by a 22-year-old mother, identified as LA, to sell her 11-month-old baby to a buyer in Bali, known as NS, using the messaging service WhatsApp. The baby was allegedly being offered for 15 million rupiah (about $ 987).

The Instagram account was still active early Friday and had more than 700 followers, having been running for about a year. It has since been taken down.

Images featured on the page included black and white photos of ultrasounds, pregnant mothers and babies with their faces blurred.

In one image posted on September 15, a baby, referred to as C86, was featured alongside information such as age, gender and religion. A contact number is provided with a message urging those who want to adopt or who want to leave a child for adoption to get in touch.

The account also featured screenshots from WhatsApp conversations between the account owner and pregnant women or mothers. In one conversation, a woman who is seven months pregnant says she is unmarried and wants to find someone to adopt her child and to hide her until she gives birth so that her family doesn’t find out.

The head of Indonesia’s National Commission for Child Protection (KPAI), Sustano, who like many Indonesians has one name, said social media has changed the way traffickers conduct business.

“In the old days, the transaction happened in person and it was usually arranged through a middleman,” he said. “But now, they are using new and more advance methods, through social media like Instagram and Facebook. The cyber world has become a tool for promotion and transaction.”

Sustano says traffickers are drawn to social media because “it is considered more effective, the deal happens directly between seller and buyer, and it is not easy to be detected by law enforcement.

“If the use of Instagram is proven in this case then it shows how traffickers constantly adapt to new methods for their trade,” added Amanda Bissex, Chief of Child Protection at UNICEF. She believes it’s now important that authorities “adapt their policy and legislative response to prevent such crimes, particularly against children, young girls and women.”

Indonesia is a major source, transit, and destination country for human trafficking. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) estimates that 100,000 children are trafficked each year in Indonesia, with the majority being forced into the sex trade.

In its 2018 Trafficking in Persons Report, the US government rated Indonesia as Tier 2, saying that the country “did not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking.” Indonesia was however, “making significant efforts to do so.”

All four of the arrested individuals face up to 15 years in prison for violating child protection laws.

Instagram is using new tools to detect bullying on the platform

Instagram is taking further steps to tackle bullying on its platform.

The social network is employing machine learning to help proactively detect bullying in photos, which will then be reviewed by a human moderator.

An Instagram spokesperson said its bullying classifier detects “attacks on a person’s appearance or character, as well as threats to a person’s well-being or health” in a photo.

If a human moderator deems the photo is in breach of the platform’s community guidelines, the photo will be removed, and the poster will be notified of its deletion and told why.  Read more…

Halle Berry Accused Of Sexual Assault By Man On Instagram

We strongly suggest you DON’T come for Halle Berry with some stupid bullsh*t ’cause if it really is stupid bullsh*t, you’re gonna get it thrown right back atcha. And, by the way, her aim is deadly accurate. Just ask the nitwit whose name is Heath Wilson.

Check out what Wilson wrote on Instagram about a (reverse?) #MeToo moment that he claims happened between the two.

“Bumped into Halle at a party. I was a little drunk and knocked the drink out of her hand. I tried to apologize, but she grabbed me by my genitalia and said ‘This is how you can say sorry.’ I told her no, but she persisted. I was lucky enough to get away but imagine how many of her victims weren’t able to escape her clutches. Just telling my truth. #whowillstandwithme.”

Madame Berry, 53, was NOT having it. Here’s her response:

“I don’t know you, bruh. And you don’t get to make comments about me like this. I have never met you, nor have I ever disrespected anyone the way you have suggested. Now get a life and get the f*ck off my page with that bullsh*t. Peace chicken grease.”

Check out the exchanges below.

And now it’s official – the guy once over Facebook’s News Feed will now lead Instagram

New Instagram head

It was widely expected, and now it’s official. Adam Mosseri, the guy once in charge of Facebook’s algorithmically-powered, fake news-packed, enigmatic News Feed, is getting a promotion from Instagram VP to taking charge of the photo-sharing app altogether following the sudden departure of its founders.

We told you last week that with Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger gone, Instagram was most certainly poised to turn into Facebook 2.0, and today’s news (you could argue) makes that all but official. From Instagram’s announcement about the leadership news: “In his role leading Instagram, Adam will oversee all functions of the business and will recruit a new executive team including a head of engineering, head of product and head of operations.”
