India might be better known for Darjeeling, but the largest tea producing region is Assam. Vast tea plantations sprawl across the region which supplies three-fifths of the tea in India. Enthusiasts should check out Mancotta, a wonderful estate house from the 1840s nestled amid the plantations.

Ceylon tea, Sri Lanka

Ceylon used to be the name for Sri Lanka, so it is fitting that the Ceylon black tea is such an iconic choice in Sri Lanka. You should check out the delightful Ceylon Tea Trails, and take informative and intriguing tours, where you can learn all about the process of cultivating and creating Ceylon tea.

Afternoon/Cream tea, England

No tea experience would be complete without a trip to England, the spiritual home of tea! If you find yourself in Cool Britannia any time soon, you simply have to head for London, offers more afternoon tea options than you can shake a finger sandwich at! Alternatively, you might like to head to Cornwall’s Tregothnan to sample an authentic Cornish cream tea. Delicious!

Mint tea, Morocco

Morocco is famed for many different types of tea, but the absolute classic Moroccan offering is gunpowder green mint tea. Make sure you head for the Dar Baths Museum in Fez and check out a history lesson surrounding this delicious drink. The etiquette here is that you slurp rather than sip, and make sure you make the most of this delicious hot treat.

Corrientes, Argentina

It might surprise you to hear that Argentina is the third-largest consumer of tea in the world, by volume. The country consumes a delicious tea called Yerba Mate, a herbal tea that contains antioxidants. Many consider this to not be a proper tea because it’s herbal, but if mint tea counts then we feel this one should. There are plenty of tours in Corrientes where you can sample this herbal concoction, and this is definitely something you need to think about.

These are just some of the best tea experiences you can have in the world today. Kandi Burruss Opens Up About Her ‘Scary’ Surrogacy Journey

Kandi Burruss is opening up about her decision to have a third addition to the family via a surrogate and sharing her experience about the whole process up until now. The RHOA star chatted with HollywoodLife about it and here’s what she had to say!

As fans of the popular reality TV show are aware, Kandi and her hubby Todd Tucker want to have a third child and are pursuing surrogacy to make that wish a reality.

About the stage she’s reached in her surrogacy journey, Kandi told the outlet that ‘Well, we are about to start the treatments to do the transfer. Because you have to go through a psychological review for the potential carrier and yourself, and obviously, we have to negotiate a contract.’

She went on to share that at the psychological review, they ‘ask you questions you did not really think about. The whole thing is [it’s] her body, our baby. So, it’s a lot to think about. It is already scary for us to go into this, but the more questions and different things the counselor brings up before they approve you moving forward, it is just things that I did not even think about.’

It must feel really weird for the mothers who use this method to bring new life into the world since most seem to have a hard time processing how their baby is growing inside another woman’s body.

Furthermore, the same goes for the surrogate and apparently, Kandi’s IVF doctor told her he prefers someone who’s done it before and of course, lives in the same city or state.

‘It’s not like there are a lot of them, and then you have to see who you feel comfortable with, and it’s just so many questions,’ the RHOA star added before teasing that fans will learn more about it on the show!

Black Mompreneurs Stand Up: One Woman’s Journey To Organize Her Own TEDx Event

At eight months pregnant, writer and special needs advocate Eraina Ferguson was set to give the speech of her life. A TEDx talk is one of the coveted roles a person can get when building their professional career. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The event is called TEDxDelthorneWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At TEDxDelthorneWomen, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion around the topic Listen to Her. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. “Women from all over the country are raving about this event, I hope to attend and meet some incredible people from all different walks of life,” stated self-care influencer, Tonnicka Gerken.

Eraina Ferguson is no stranger to hard work. After giving birth to a special needs daughter, she went on to finish her undergraduate degree and two master’s degrees, including one from Yale. “I really wanted my daughter to have a good life,” stated Ferguson. Since obtaining her degrees, she has written over 200 articles geared toward teaching parents and the general public about the importance of special needs families living a good life.

In June, Ferguson knew her life would change as she took the stage to do her first TEDx talk, and it did. Moments into it, the sound was choppy, while she was on a stage with a full audience. After giving her talk she was given the opportunity to redo her speech during intermission. Thankfully her film crew was able to film her talk and everything turned out well, but she knew that something else needed to be done. “Though I understood the magnitude of their responsibility, I wanted to organize my own TEDx event centered around the importance of listening to women,” stated Ferguson.

On November 30th, 2018 Ferguson is facilitating a TEDx event titled “TEDxDelthorneWomen”. The main TEDWomen event is a yearly event that’s happening simultaneously in Palm Springs. “The TEDWomen event’s theme is “Showing Up.” I wanted a theme that would coincide with theirs, but also state a truth that exists for women, the need to be listened to.” TEDxDelthorneWomen is a full-day event, taking place in the Delthorne neighborhood of Torrance, California. “Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter,” further stated Ferguson.”Our speakers are men and women from all over the country committed to engaging in a discussion about the importance of listening to women,” emphatically stated Ferguson.

The event’s speakers include tech entrepreneurs, advertising executives, veterans, nationally syndicated journalists, filmmakers, and immigrants with a passion for advocating for the disenfranchised. “It is an honor to organize an event that helps to galvanize this new season for women,” stated Ferguson. This Is Us’ Laura Niemi on Her Return as Jack’s Mom: ‘I Knew Her Journey Was Going to Be Tough’

Laura Niemi is opening up about her big return to This Is Us.

Niemi, who plays Jack Pearson’s (Milo Ventimiglia) mother, Marilyn, says her character’s journey as a working class woman who finds herself in an abusive relationship was difficult to play on an emotional level — but was familiar on a personal level.

“I tapped into some personal experience,” Niemi exclusively tells PEOPLE of how she prepared for the role. “I was in a relationship that was pretty toxic and just wanting to be able to get out and not having a voice. I was just in a dark place — I think a place a lot of woman have been in. I could relate to wearing those shoes when it came to Marilyn’s marriage to Stanley. Also the subject of alcoholism was relatable. I’ve seen what it does and the hostages are taken under that disease. I knew her journey was going to be a tough one.”

As far as Tuesday’s episode goes, Niemi says her “journey of now having two boys” will come into play, and viewers will soon see how the Pearson family dynamic impacts Jack’s life.

“This is a big episode for Jack,” she says. “There’s a lot of reveal on our family history. I think it’s going to be a pretty wonderful episode to be able to see how he became who he is. I think it starts with our parents.”

In the season 3 premiere last month, viewers were transported back to the ’70s and found out more about Jack and Rebecca’s first date.

“I always said I was born in the wrong era,” Niemi says about her character’s time travel. “My best friend growing up was my grandmother. This is her generation. I spent New Year’s Eve with my grandparents. I just feel like I’ve always had an older soul and that period of time was such an incredible time. It was wonderful to dive into that period of history.”

And working alongside Ventimiglia has been far from dull.

“I’m on a show that everyone watches ,so people are constantly texting me, ‘What was it like?’ It was fun being able to feel the enthusiasm in my personal life as well,” she says. “Milo is my boy. He’s such a lovely and wonderful man. He makes my job so easy. He’s such a lovable guy and sets the bar so high with this character.”

As for what’s to come this season, the cast previously told PEOPLE that things will begin to fall together come midseason — with the obvious curveballs.

“Episode four is a doozy. We’re going to see a side of Kate we haven’t seen so far. Kate hasn’t felt her feelings deeply and a lot of them are bubbling to the surface. As humans, we don’t always know how to handle them or express them. Sometimes anger is sometimes just sadness masked,” said Chrissy Metz, alluding to Kate’s miscarriage last season as well as Toby’s battle with depression.

This Is Us airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on NBC.

Changing Hearts: Persona 5 and My JRPG Journey

As a kid, I played my fair share of Pokémon, enthralled by the wonderful designs and charming world. The games still hold a special place in my heart. Yet as I grew older, I realized that my love for Charizard had been veiling my disdain for turn-based combat. I tried again and again to get back into the series to no avail, instead turning to more action-oriented games like God of War and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

I gave other JRPGs a shot over the years, — the legendary Chrono Trigger among them — and each time, I seemed to find turn-based gameplay even more of a chore. I knew I was missing out on some of gaming’s finest adventures, making matters worse. I consider myself a patient and open-minded person, so why was I so impatient and close-minded toward an entire genre? That’s when Persona 5 (P5) entered my life.

My Homie

joker ren protagonist ryuji sakamoto persona 5 playstation exclusive phantom thieves
Nothing and no one gets between these two.

My stepbrother, who comes over every other weekend, owns an Xbox. He thought P5 seemed incredible, but it’s a PlayStation exclusive. I have a PlayStation. See where I’m going with this?

When he started the game, I decided to watch — a bit of brotherly bonding, something we could enjoy together while everyone else was asleep. In the back of my mind, I also figured that if I liked the game enough… but no. It was a JRPG. And sure enough, neither of us were raving about P5′s first few hours. (“Where’s the f—ing Ginza line?!”)

But as he mastered the intricate balance between the protagonist‘s daily life and fight for a better world, my stepbrother’s growing enthusiasm for P5 infected me. I wanted to hang with Ryuji more than once every other weekend, to date Makoto instead of Futaba, to take the hearts of society’s scum with my own hands. There was just the issue of turn-based combat…

Beneath the Mask

persona 5 joker ren protagonist phantom thieves mask off playstation exclusive
“Please don’t take off my mask — my place to hide.”

… which I got over faster than you can say, “For real?!” It’s still not my preferred way to play, but that didn’t matter because what P5 gets right, it gets right. The soundtrack is a fusion of musical genres that keeps your adrenaline pumping as often as it has you in tears. The aesthetics are vibrant, fluid, and stylish, as effective in establishing the tone as anything else. The world is as full of wonder and disappointment as our own — and as alive, in that sense.

And the characters … the Phantom Thieves. Befriending them one by one, understanding what motivates them, setting aside time to spend with them — wasn’t this stuff reserved for real life? Fighting alongside them against the corrupt adults who serve as P5‘s villains was engaging in its own way, but learning who they all were beneath the mask was an experience like no other. This was the element that I’d been looking for in JRPGs but never found: personal attachment.

Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There

ophilia tressa alfyn olberic primrose h'annit cyrus therion octopath traveler nintendo switch jrpg turn based combat
If you don’t wake up, get up, get out there, you’ll never meet people like this!

I don’t know that any JRPG — any game, really — can truly replicate the feelings P5 spawned in me. It was the first JRPG I played through to completion and an amazing game in its own right. And yet, when it was over, I knew I wanted more; nearly 100 hours of life in Tokyo‘s Shibuya ward had convinced me of that. I was okay with turn-based combat now, but was that enough for me to enjoy other JRPGs? In short, yes.

My next JRPG adventure came in the form of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (which my stepbrother also played first), my first foray into the storied Fire Emblem franchise. I love me some swords and sorcery, so it wasn’t hard to get into, though its map battles proved a much different beast than P5‘s enemy encounters. Accepting that it wouldn’t impact me as much as P5 was the real battle, but I won that one, too.

Today, I’m keeping up the streak with Octopath Traveler, a JRPG with combat akin to P5‘s and a world not unlike that of Shadows of Valentia‘s. Over 50 hours in, I dig it more and more every second I play, in love with the characters and music. It’s simple, really: it’s a good game — JRPG or not, turn-based combat or not. Just like P5.

New Beginning

ann takamaki ryuji sakamoto futaba sakura ren amamiya joker protagonist haru okumura yusuke kitagawa makoto niijima persona 5 phantom thieves playstation exclusive
Thanks, everyone.

I don’t know what JRPG will come my way next, but thanks to P5, I know I’ll embrace it as wholeheartedly as any other game I’d normally play. Before P5, maybe I wasn’t as patient and open-minded as I thought I was. Who knew that that’d be a lesson that a video game taught me? I won’t get preachy or anything, but I will say this: don’t be afraid to try new things. You never know what — or who — you might find. For real.

(And … yes. For those wondering, all the headings in this article are the names of P5 songs. I may or may not have been listening to the soundtrack while writing this.)
