Samantha Bee Destroys Sean Hannity’s Mueller Lies

TBS

Samantha Bee opened her first new show in weeks on Wednesday night with a big update on the Mueller investigation, from the heavily redacted Michael Flynn sentencing memo to the news that President Trump has finally submitted his written answers to the special counsel’s questions.

“Presumably it took so long because every other time he tried to answer them he got burger juice on them, and then tried to eat them,” the Full Frontal host joked. “He’s a hungry boy!”

If Mueller did set some sort of perjury trap for Trump, Bee said, “it is absolutely allowed,” adding, “Despite what you may have heard on Fox News, Mueller does not have to save Trump from incriminating himself.”

Ex-Facebook President Sean Parker Funded Race-Baiting Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith’s Super PAC

As embattled incumbent Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) faces scrutiny over racially tinged comments, she’s relying on the support of one of the biggest names in Silicon Valley to help her down the stretch of her increasingly tight runoff race.

Sean Parker, the founding president of Facebook and the founder of the pioneering music sharing service Napster, provided a huge cash infusion this year for the Mississippi Victory Fund, one of a handful of high-dollar political groups backing Hyde-Smith’s election.

He made the donation in an effort to defeat Mississippi state senator Chris McDaniel, Hyde-Smith’s controversial Republican opponent, during their primary race. And it worked—McDaniel, a man who had ties to the neo-Confederate movement, took money from figures connected to the KKK, and made numerous inflammatory comments about women and minorities, lost badly.

Bloomingdale’s to Open Sean John Pop-Up Shop

Bloomingdale’s was the first retailer to sell the Sean John collection when rap entrepreneur Sean Combs launched his men’s wear line two decades ago. Now, the two companies have reconnected to celebrate the anniversary.
For the month of October, the store is converting the former David Burke restaurant space at the 59th Street flagship into a Sean John pop-up. The shop, which will have a separate entrance from the street as well as access through the men’s store, will sell a capsule collection of reworked pieces from the brand’s previous collections including the velour tracksuit, fur snorkel jackets, suede coveralls and leather track jackets.
“You won’t see all baggy clothes,” said Jeff Tweedy, president of Sean John. “We’re taking iconic pieces and tuning them to current fashion.” He said the velour tracksuit, for example, hasn’t been produced for more than a decade, but is being reinvented in five colors for the shop.
Everything will be for sale but there will also be some original pieces on display in the space, Tweedy said.
“Bloomingdale’s was our original launch partner 20 years ago, so it is incredibly gratifying to come full circle with the launch of this pop-up shop,” he added. “This is truly a homecoming for us and we
