Adele Announces Split With Her Husband Simon Konecki

Grammy-winning singer Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki, have broken up after 7 years together, the star’s representatives confirmed to the Associated Press.

“Adele and her partner have separated,” her representatives, Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh, wrote Friday. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Despite Adele’s superstardom – her second studio album, 21, was the best-selling album in the world for two years in a row – she and her husband have kept their relationship quiet. It only became public that the couple had gotten married after Adele referred to her “husband” during the 2017 Grammys. The couple have a son, Angelo, who was born in 2012.

The singer told TIME in 2015 that it was important to her to preserve her family’s privacy and not let her life be ruled by her fame.

“It’s as normal a life as I can have,” said Adele. “I think people would be pretty surprised. When I’m not doing a photo shoot, it’s just me, my boyfriend and the baby.”

In December 2016, she opened up about their relationship to Vanity Fair, saying that the couple’s age gap actually strengthened their relationship. Konecki is 14 years her senior.

“When I try to describe this to my friends they don’t always get it, because they go out with people that are our age, but Simon is already who he is, and I’m still becoming who I’m going to be. He’s confident. He’s perfect,” Adele said.

Konecki is the cofounder of Life Water, a premium bottle water company, and is the CEO of the charity drop4drop.

Simon Cowell mocked for being less likeable than David Williams as Britain’s Got Talent judges compete in Weird Crushes game behind the scenes

SIMON Cowell will learn a harsh truth that he’s not as likeable as co-star David Walliams during tonight’s Britain’s Got More Talent.

The BGT judges take a break from filming more show-stopping auditions to play the popular Weird Crushes card game, which features both Simon and David.

The game ranks different male celebrities on their charisma, likeability, sex appeal, style, and fame.

While Simon outranks David on charisma by one point, he is defeated by a large margin on the likeability category.

Initially trying to bluff his way out of it by lying about his score, Simon reluctantly admits he was scored just two points, while David landed a much stronger four.

Co-stars Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon laughed hysterically as the boys tried to prove who was king of the panel.

Tonight’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent will see a knife-throwing act take aim at Simon Cowell, leaving judge Amanda Holden, 48, and the auditions audience gasping in shock.

Andrei admitted: “This was high stakes. It was more dangerous because I didn’t know what Simon would do.

“I know my partner. She knows not to be scared and not to move.

“But I didn’t know if Simon might move. I worried I might leave him seriously injured.

“I had small nerves. I’m a professional, I must be ready and keep my focus.”

J.Hilburn Hires Simon Kneen as Chief Creative Officer

J.Hilburn, a direct seller of men’s wear, is beefing up its staff, adding veteran design Simon Kneen to the fold as chief creative officer.
In this new position, Kneen will oversee design, styling and showroom presentations to retail stores for the Dallas-based company.
The U.K.-born Kneen has a long history in men’s wear. He served as creative design director for the Retail Brand Alliance, overseeing both Brooks Brothers and Adrienne Vittadini before being recruited by Banana Republic to serve as executive vice president of design and creative director. He was with Banana for six years but left in 2013, at which point he collaborated with brands including MadMen, L’Wren Scott and Narciso Rodriguez. Before coming to the States, Kneen was head designer for Balmain in the late Nineties.
“Simon is an innovative and experienced leader of men’s design and is a perfect fit for our brand,” said J.Hilburn’s chief executive officer Andy Janowski. “I am excited to have his creative vision and leadership as we build the future of custom-made total lifestyle fashion.”
Janowski, the former chief operating officer of Burberry and ceo of Smythson, joined the company last April. Since that time, he has been bolstering the staff by bringing Joe Dixon on board as chief operating officer and promoting James Burgess to vice president of stylist development.
Janowski took the reins J.Hilburn from cofounder and ceo Veeral Rathod. The

Kym Marsh: Simon Gregson is ‘hysterical’ on set

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh finds it “hard” working alongside Simon Gregson – because he’s “so hysterical”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – admits her co-star (Steve McDonald) cracks her up so much he must have been born with “funny bones”, which makes it “very difficult” not to laugh while the pair are shooting scenes together.
Speaking about Simon’s Inside Soap Awards success last week, she said: “Simon Gregson won Funniest Male and no wonder – he’s got funny bones, that one.
“I sometimes find it hard working with him because she’s so hysterical.
“Simon plays Steve McDonald, who is the great comedic character, and my character Michelle Connor is the straight man. It’s very difficult to keep a straight face.”
‘Corrie’ won big at the ceremony last Monday (22.10.18), scooping Best Soap, and Jack P. Shepherd (David) won the Best Actor accolade, and Kym admits her co-stars are “so proud” of the 30-year-old star.
She said: “It was very well deserved. He was a little boy when he joined the show in 2000, and now he’s grown – not just as an actor, but as a person.
“We’re all so proud.”
As well as Simon’s comedy success, Dolly-Rose Campbell won Funniest Female at the Soap Awards, and Kym is pleased the show is being recognised for its comical moments as well as dramatic storylines.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: “It is great that we’re winning all the comedy awards alongside doing very serious storylines.”
This comes after ‘Corrie’ came under fire from several celebs earlier this year for being too violent, with Paul O’Grady comparing the soap to war-torn Syria.
He said: “It was about working class life in a little street, but now it’s like Syria.
“There used to be these wonderful vignettes in the Rovers – a conversation over nothing.”
Some of this year’s ‘Corrie’ storylines have seen evil serial killer Pat Phelan’s (Connor McIntyre) reign of terror finally come to an end, and David was raped by Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton).
