Azealia Banks Slams Offset For Cardi B Ambush And 21 Savage Supports Him During A Concert And Gets The Crowd To Sing ‘Cardi, Take Offset Back’

It was recently reported that Offset managed to embarrass Cardi even more during one of her concerts. The man showed up on stage during one of her shows to beg her once again to take him back.

People understood that he had the best intentions, but Cardi was not impressed at all, and it’s quite understandable.

After doing this, Offset posted a message on social media in which he was saying that he felt like a public apology was necessary after his cheating became a public matter as well.

This message did not impress fans at all, and they slammed him saying that he is only sorry because he got caught.

More celebrities got themselves involved in the drama and supported Cardi B or Offset. For instance, Azealia Banks also chose to speak on the recent events surrounding Cardi B, and Offset.

‘I think it’s messed up that men think it’s okay to desecrate her workspace with their opinions of what she should be doing. No clue why think it’s okay to just barge in on women when they feel like it,’ she posted on Instagram.

She continued and wrote that ‘If it were the other way around they would be bashing the woman saying she’s no good, calling her a hoe, etc. etc…but since it’s the man they expect it to be accepted as part of his hip-hop persona and everyone will rush to defend them.’

Another rapper, 21 Savage seems to be ‘team Offset’ because he got the crowd to ask Cardi to take her hubby back during a concert.

21 Savage got everyone chanting, ‘Cardi B, Take Offset Back!’

What do you think Cardi should do?

‘Pump Rules’ Cast Slams James After He Embarrasses Brittany at SUR

The cast of Vanderpump Rules has some choice words for their costar James Kennedy following his performance during the season 7 premiere of the Bravo hit.

“That’s pretty much what he does. That’s his MO. He needs to bring up things that happened years ago because there’s nothing for him to talk about,” Jax Taylor told Us Weekly exclusively when asked about James rapping about the former SUR bartender’s indiscretion with Faith Stowers in front of Jax’s fiancée, Brittany Cartwright, during the Monday, December 3, episode of Vanderpump Rules. “He doesn’t really have much going on in his life. There’s nothing there. There’s no substance to him. It gets to the point where it’s like, ‘What else do you got man?’ You’ve got nothing else anymore. We don’t really talk to him much anymore.”

Brittany, who accepted Jax’s proposal in the premiere, noted to Us that she has been “nothing but nice” to James, so he had no reason to embarrass her in front of her colleagues and the guests at SUR.

“I was crying and, like, ran out,” the Kentucky native explained. “He tries to say that that was about Jax, but Jax wasn’t there. I was the one that was there, I was the one that was embarrassed in front of the entire crowd, not Jax. So him trying to be like, ‘That was about Jax,’ that doesn’t make sense. That’s no ground to stand on because I was the one who got hurt that day.”

Even Lala Kent, who used to be the DJ’s only ally on the Bravo series, is no longer friends with James after he went after her close friends and fiancé Randall Emmett.

“I guess, fortunately, it hasn’t affected my life in a negative way, not being friends with him. So I’m good,” Lala told Us. “He has always been an extremely verbally abusive friend to me and I always shook it off because I knew that it was coming from a hurt place and I knew it really only happened when he was under the influence. But when you start attacking someone who I’m going to spend the rest of my life with, you might as well be attacking my mother as well.”

“It was just something that I couldn’t bounce back from,” she continued. “And now the people that I have in my world like Katie [Maloney], Kristen [Doute], Stassi [Schroeder], a friendship with James would never work because the people in my world don’t care for him. So I’ve moved on.”

Regarding the season premiere drama with James, Scheana Shay simply added, “Nothing with James surprises me.”

Vanderpump Rules airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.

Chairman Of Temple University’s Board Slams Marc Lamont Hill For Comments About Israel

Activist and author Marc Lamont Hill received backlash after what some are calling controversial comments about Israel. CNN fired him and Temple University originally spoke out saying “he has a constitutionally protected right to express his opinion as a private citizen.” However, now the board chair of Temple  University is speaking out and he is slamming the professor of media studies and urban education

Chairman of Temple University’s board Patrick O’Connor, who is also a lawyer, said on CNN, “It should be made clear that no one at Temple is happy with his comments. Free speech is one thing. Hate speech is entirely different.” He continued, “I’m not happy. The board’s not happy. The administration’s not happy. People wanted to fire him right away. We’re going to look at what remedies we have.”

Marc Lamont Hill was tenure so it will be difficult to fire him.

That said, in an email to The Washington Times, Temple University said, “Marc Lamont Hill has been quoted extensively over the last 24 hours. Marc Lamont Hill does not represent Temple University and his views are his own. However, we acknowledge that he has a constitutionally protected right to express his opinion as a private citizen.”

At the United Nations on Wednesday, Hill said in a speech, “We have an opportunity to not just offer solidarity in words but to commit to political action, grassroots action, local action, and international action that will give us what justice requires and that is a free Palestine from the river to the sea.”

He continued, “Contrary to western mythology, Black resistance to American apartheid did not come purely through Gandhi and nonviolence, rather slave revolts and self-defense and tactics otherwise divergent from Dr. King or Mahatma Gandhi were equally important to preserving safety and attaining freedom. If we are to operate in true solidarity with the Palestinian people, we must allow the Palestinian people the same range of opportunity and political possibility.”

Soledad O’brien Slams Cnn For Giving ‘White Supremacists’ Airtime

Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien slammed the network on Sunday for giving airtime to “racists” and “white supremacists” in an effort to boost ratings.

Her comments were in response to a viral Twitter thread created by Shareblue’s Oliver Willis that bashed CNN hosts for calling out “abhorrent behavior” and then inviting commentators on their shows who spew such behavior.

“They give a platform ― and their credibility ― to racists/white supremacists/ all in the name of ‘hearing them out,’ (which is a ratings ploy btw),” wrote O’Brien, who left CNN in 2013 after 10 years with the network.

The veteran journalist reiterated her CNN shade on Monday, tweeting that she had expressed the same criticism in the past.

“It was true then and remains true today,” she wrote.

Twitter user Ajamu Baraka noted: “CNN giving air time to racist and white supremacist is nothing new. During the 2016 campaign me and Jill Stein constantly pointed out how the major news outlets were giving millions of dollars of free time to Trump’s white supremacy.

It’s unclear whether a specific show segment inspired Willis to criticize the network, as he expressed online: “my major problem with how cnn operates is their anchors/hosts want to have their cake and eat it too. they want credit for calling out abhorrent behavior but when they enable the same behavior they insist theyre just “hearing them out.”

He appeared to mock what he believes to be CNN’s strategy: “Gassing toddlers and putting babies in cages is disgusting and beyond the pale! our next guest will now defend those things i just said are reprehensible, because every point of view is viable,” he wrote.

Back in 2016 when O’Brien appeared on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” she pointed out how hate speech is being normalized by giving airtime to Trump surrogates, who oftentimes double as white supremacists, per urbanmecca.net.

“If you look at Hillary Clinton’s speech [on why Trump’s policies are racist] she basically pointed out that what Donald Trump has done — actually quite well — has normalized White supremacy,” O’Brien stated. “I think she made a very good argument, almost like a lawyer. Here are ways in which he has actually worked to normalize conversations that many people find hateful.”

“I’ve seen White supremacists being interviewed because they are Trump delegates. And they do a five-minute segment, the first minute or so talking about what they believe as White supremacists. So you have normalized that,” she explained.

Prince William Slams Tech Leaders’ Failure to Combat ‘Cruelty and Intolerance’

WPA Pool

Prince William has accused tech companies of hypocrisy, saying they’re falling short in tackling cyberbullying and other social problems while reveling in a “self-image grounded in their positive power.”

He told tech leaders they must “fight back against the intolerance and cruelty that has been brought to the surface by your platforms.”

In a surprisingly political speech, William called on social-media companies to “reject the false choice of profits over values” and issued a coruscating condemnation of their social impact, saying, “On every challenge they face—fake news, extremism, polarization, hate speech, trolling, mental health, privacy, and bullying—our tech leaders seem to be on the back foot.”

SNL’s Pete Davidson Slams Kanye West For Pro-Trump Rant [Video]

Last week, Kanye West delivered a pro-Trump speech on SNL, and on Saturday night, the show responded via Pete Davidson, who clowned the rapper’s off-air MAGA rant at the end of the “Weekend Update” segment.

“So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’ Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago,” West told the Saturday Night Live audience. He also pledged to run for president in 2020.

Pete encouraged West to take his meds — “Davidson admitted that he’s on medication as well — and capped off the segment by donning a “Make Kanye 2006 Again” hat,” Page Six writes.

On Saturday, Davidson called West’s speech “one of the worst, most awkward things I’ve ever seen here. We all had to stand behind him,” he continued as video of the speech played, “I’m on the left [his head is down in the video], and then I’m like, ‘I want a career,’ so I leave” the stage.

He also addressed West’s claim that “they” tried to “bully” him out of wearing the MAGA hat.

“So Kanye was wearing a ‘MAGA’ hat, and he started by saying people backstage tried to bully him into not wearing it,” Davidson said. “He wore it all week. Nobody told him not to wear it — I wish would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife, or, like, every black person, ever.”

“Kanye is a genius,” he continued, “but a musical genius, like Joey Chestnut is a hot-dog eating genius. I don’t want to hear Joey Chestnut’s opinions about things that aren’t hot dog related!”

Davidson then asked West to resume taking his medication.

“Kanye, I know you’re like, ‘Yo, this is the real me, I’m off the meds’,” which West has said on at least two occasions. “Take ‘em! There’s no shame in the medicine game! I’m on ‘em — take ‘em! if I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, ‘I just want you all to know this is the real me flying,’” I’d jump out!

“Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass,” he concluded. “Seriously: one time I stopped taking my meds, and I bit my mom. But it’s all good because I bought her a house.”

He finished by putting on a “Make Kanye 2006 Again” hat… watch the clip above.
