#ThreeCourseMeal… just me and my best friends living our best lives.. Thank you for never leaving me in my darkest moments, for always drying my tears.. even when they’re from watching Moana.. thank you for being loyal, honest and so grateful for every little thing.. like crying because we swam with fish/sharks/stingray and coral reef. I’m so lucky to be best friends with two incredible souls who are so talented and creative because it inspires me daily. And you’re so supportive of me and every little thing I do.. You’ve traveled across the country to visit me and stayed with me at my house for days on end when I’m struggling to make sure I’m okay but most importantly you never abandoned me like others did when I was going through shit.. you were there to listen, without judgement and only love and I can never fully express what that means to me. You’re the greatest friends I’ve EVER had and our future together is so bright. I love you both more than you can imagine!! Thank you for this past week 💗 @sirahsays @matthew_scott_montgomery ps. I’m both yalls biggest fans 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Lovato, who survived a drug overdose in July 2018, said that Mitchell and Montgomery are two of her most steadfast supporters. “You’ve traveled across the country to visit me and stayed with me at my house for days on end when I’m struggling to make sure I’m okay but most importantly you never abandoned me like others did when I was going through s–t,” she wrote in the post. “You were there to listen, without judgement and only love and I can never fully express what that means to me. “Thank you for this past week,” she concluded. “PS. I’m both yalls biggest fans.”

Since the overdose, the “Confident” singer has sought treatment twice and has gotten a tattoo to celebrate six months of sobriety. “Demi is determined to stay motivated and sober,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “She knows at the end of the day everything is reliant on her own decision-making process.”

The ‘Mueller Report’ Is Already Out—on Amazon, Thanks to Grifters

Photo Illustration by The Daily Beast/Getty

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report on the Trump campaign will be released Thursday, the Justice Department announced Monday. Like all public reports, the document will be free to read.

That hasn’t stopped people from trying to sell Mueller report books on Amazon for months.

Amazon’s book listings are an SEO cesspool where grifters try to peddle ebooks on every trending topic. In recent months, self-published works on the anti-vaccination and QAnon conspiracy theories have soared in Amazon’s ratings. So as readers clamored to see the full Mueller report, publishing houses and self-published authors rushed to sell books on the still-unpublished document.

Free Admission to National Center for Civil and Human Rights all February Thanks to Coca-Cola

Admission to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights will be free during Black History month thanks to a grant from Coca-Cola. The Coca-Cola Foundation awarded a $ 1 million grant to the center, located in downtown Atlanta (and next door to the World of Coke museum).

The center announced the news on its website: “The grant will allow free admission for anyone visiting the civil rights landmark starting Monday, January 28 through the end of February. Visitors leave inspired and empowered to join the ongoing dialogue about human rights in their communities. In expectation of crowds, The Center will be implementing timed ticketing for admission. Timed tickets will be available on a first come, first served.”

“There is no better way to celebrate this exciting moment in Atlanta’s history than to give back to our hometown,” said Helen Smith Price, president of The Coca-Cola Foundation in a press release. “We are proud of our city’s remarkable civil and human rights history and are pleased to offer residents and visitors alike the opportunity to learn more about how diversity, inclusion, and unity are central to the story of modern Atlanta.”

Additionally, The Coca-Cola Foundation presented three $ 100,000 grants to Atlanta-area organizations dedicated to promoting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy: The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change; The Joseph and Evelyn Lowery Institute for Justice & Human Rights; and New American Pathways.

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is a museum that opened in 2014. Its multimedia exhibits relay the story of the American Civil Rights movement.

The Coca-Cola Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Coca-Cola company. Since its launch in 1984, the foundation has awarded over $ 1 billion in grants “to support sustainable community initiatives around the world,” according to the foundation’s website.

The ‘Kid Facial’ Goes Mainstream, Thanks to Victoria Beckham and Daughter

Getty

The internet has long been a place to fiercely debate whether or not children should wear makeup. This weekend, armchair parenting experts were spoon-fed another potentially controversial question: How do we feel about kids getting facials?

It began, as these things often do, on Instagram Stories, where Victoria Beckham showed her 7-year-old daughter Harper getting a facial from Dr. Barbara Sturm. The Dusseldorf, Germany-based aesthetics doctor is well-known for her celebrity clientele, who include Kim Kardashian and Bar Refaeli.

“We MUST use CLEAN products on our children!” Beckham captioned the snap. (One hopes those standards apply to adult patients, too.)

Chrissy Teigen thanks John Legend for supporting her ‘Instagram dreams’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen has thanked her husband John Legend for helping to make her “Instagram dreams” come true.
The 33-year-old model – who has kids Luna, two, and seven-month-old Miles with the chart-topping musician – has taken to the photo-sharing website to jokingly praise John for consistently helping her to capture perfect, Instagram-ready images.
Alongside a short video clip of John photographing her, Chrissy – who has more than 21 million followers on the platform – wrote: “thank u for always supporting my Instagram dreams. This train only moves because of you(r phone) .. you are the tracks that lay the foundation .. creating a direct path to hope and possibilities of likes and curated content. what u do is important. I will never take u for granted, my king (sic)”
Meanwhile, Chrissy previously claimed that the internet has changed her life.
The model admitted that her use of Twitter and other social media platforms has changed the public’s perception of her.
She shared: “Guys have always come up to me since I did Sports Illustrated. But now, they all say the same thing: ‘My girlfriend loves you.’ And I couldn’t be happier.”
Chrissy also claimed that one of the keys to her relationship with John is that they have contrasting personalities.
She explained: “He’s quieter than me, which isn’t saying much. But he’s more thoughtful, whereas I’m spur of the moment.
“I can’t hide things very well. If I feel it, you’ll see it on my face, but he’s better at covering. I was never that big into music. Still to this day, I’m very Top 40. And I’m more emotion-based than him. I can see everybody’s side of an argument.”

Give Thanks For Coworkers and Clients With An Office Friendsgiving

Friendsgiving has been picking up steam over the last few years as an alternative way to celebrate Thanksgiving, but it can also be a great way to show colleagues or clients your appreciation.

Throw an Office Friendsgiving with these tips from Michiel Perry, founder and editor-in-chief of Black Southern Belle:

Put Networking First

Use a serving bowl as a place for guests to drop their business cards. To encourage participation, feel free to raffle off a great bottle of winter wine.

Don’t Forget Branding

Looking to showcase a new product or your brand philosophy? Use simple place cards such as small office envelopes on paper clips. These envelopes can be a great place to give the name of dishes as well as some insight into what you are professionally thankful for to your clients this year.

Keep Friendsgiving Food Light

Since most of your clients and/or employees will be having Thanksgiving with their family, try to keep your menu light with simple dishes such as turkey caesar salad or charcuterie boards of your favorite pickled fall vegetables. And, of course, a fall-inspired cocktail is always a good start to a fun client Friendsgiving.

Get Some Help

When you are pulling together a last-minute party, don’t be afraid to get help from a local caterer. Nothing better than supporting a small business while creating a new addition to your networking list—and even better if you can use a company that your clients enjoy utilizing. If you don’t have time find a caterer, the deli section of your local gourmet store has excellent pre-made options.

Or, for an easy Office Friendsgiving, put together an after-lunch dessert and coffee display. Find a local bakery to order a pastry assortment. And create a mocktail station, with pumpkin coffee, sparkling cider, and cranberry juice. This is perfect for office colleagues who prefer to abstain and also helps avoid some dietary restrictions such as dairy and meat.

Add Festive Decor

Be sure to add a little decor to your office conference room to create a Friendsgiving that your clients will see as Instagram worthy. Grocery stores have small bundles of multi-colored pumpkins that make the perfect decorations. If you want to add even more flair, start by pulling some decor from your home such as candlesticks, champagne buckets, and various sets of drinkware.

Follow Up

An essential part of any client event is the follow-up. Be sure to send handwritten notes with a fall candy to your guests who attended to add another touchpoint for them to remember your company and the Friendsgiving.
