Models’ skin was prepped with massages by renowned facialist Nichola Joss before applying The Cream by Augustinus Bader. The result was a glowing, flawless complexion that, according to Joss, would set them up for a busy day of shows.
Make-up legend Pat McGrath and her team perfected the glow before models hit the catwalk, showcasing a collection of comfortable and chic tailored pieces that perfectly captured how the modern woman wants to look (and dress).
The show was broadcast live on giant screens in Piccadilly to mark the launch of VB’s new YouTube channel, which will be an insight into all things fashion, beauty, and even the Beckham family will make an appearance.
The channel comes as Victoria’s friend, Derek Blasberg, has recently been appointed YouTube’s fashion and beauty director.
‘When Derek approached me, I thought it would be a great opportunity to educate myself and really understand the platform,’ she told Vogue after the show. ‘The videos are going to be everything from fashion to beauty, and my family will be in there as well.
‘I think you’ll get the opportunity to see the real me: me at work, me with the kids and what it’s like being a working mum.’
2019 is going to be pretty mega for VB, who is also about to launch her own make-up line Victoria Beckham Beauty.

JUST SAY NO: Victoria Beckham has become the latest brand to say “no” to exotic skins, two months after Chanel did the same, WWD has learned.
“As a business, we have been looking to action the use of more ethically sourced products that have less environmental impact for some time,” said a Victoria Beckham brand spokesperson.
“We are happy to confirm that we will cease using exotic skins in all future collections as of our main fall 2019 ready-to-wear presentation. This decision reflects the wishes of not only the brand, but also that of our customers.”
PETA gave its thumbs-up to the move. “Victoria Beckham’s decision to ban exotic skins will spare countless remarkable animals immense suffering, and PETA calls on other luxury brands to follow her kind example,” said PETA director Elisa Allen.
Victoria Beckham has never used fur in its collections, and maintains a no-fur policy.
Beckham joins brands including Vivienne Westwood, Diane von Furstenberg and Chanel in banning the use of exotic skins.
Chanel revealed on the eve of its pre-fall Métiers d’Art show in New York at the Met in December that it would no longer use exotic skins or fur in its future creations.

The internet has long been a place to fiercely debate whether or not children should wear makeup. This weekend, armchair parenting experts were spoon-fed another potentially controversial question: How do we feel about kids getting facials?
It began, as these things often do, on Instagram Stories, where Victoria Beckham showed her 7-year-old daughter Harper getting a facial from Dr. Barbara Sturm. The Dusseldorf, Germany-based aesthetics doctor is well-known for her celebrity clientele, who include Kim Kardashian and Bar Refaeli.
“We MUST use CLEAN products on our children!” Beckham captioned the snap. (One hopes those standards apply to adult patients, too.)
Victoria Beckham’s current ready-to-wear collection is full of girl power. Not the skin-tight, leopard-print, Scrunchie-d girl power that reigned during her spicy youth, but the clean, straight lines of Pantsuit Nation.
While the former Posh may be doin’ it for herself, her luxury fashion label could use some help. On Monday, it was reported that Beckham’s eponymous line of clothing, accessories, and eyewear lost $ 12.9 million in 2018. (Representatives for the brand did not respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment.)
The news comes after the line celebrated a decade in the industry, where Beckham has long been a fashion darling. Her label now boasts two brick-and-mortar stores, and is sold in 400 stockists in 50 countries. Top-tier department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Barney, and Moda Operandi carry VB.
