Braxton sat down with Wendy Wednesday, and the two talked about the Braxton sister’s recent visit with Iyanla Vanzant to help settle some family beef. Tamar stormed out of the meeting with Iyanla, but her reason for leaving was unknown.
We’re told Wendy pressed her and that’s when Tamar revealed she’d been molested by members of both sides of her family. Our sources say both Wendy and the audience were stunned.
It’s unclear if something during the meeting with Iyanla triggered Tamar’s memory, or if she just felt comfortable talking to Wendy about the incident.
Our sources in the audience say Williams — who is in premiere week of her 10th season — didn’t ask for details about the alleged molestation. Tamar never named names.
She has a lot to smile about! Happy Wendy Girl is a puppy mill survivor with a great attitude. The social media star is now living it up and sharing her fab life with her fans on Instagram.
The 11-year-old poodle escaped euthanasia and was rescued, and later adopted by her new family. She now lives quite the exciting life, and has more than 10,000 followers on Instagram in an account she shares with her adopted rescued sister, Happy Yogi.
Yogi was rescued by Wendy’s family nearly five years ago when Yogi’s owner left her at a shelter after having her for a decade. “Happy GOTCHA Day to my Sweet Sister Yogi! 4 YRS AGO, mommy was in tears for hours over this photo posting at a high kill shelter,” the family wrote on Instagram on behalf of Wendy in June 2017. “There was a video that went viral of Yogi’s owner dumping her at shelter after having her for 10-11 yrs. Yogi’s face was so happy and then it turned into confusion and sadness. The next day, Mommy drove over 4 hrs to the shelter to rescue Yogi from being put to sleep. At first mommy was angry at her owner but now she knows it was a blessing in disguise. I got a new senior sister who loves belly rubs, cuddling, sunbathing and treats!”
Though Wendy always looks happy, especially with her sister, the little black pooch has her own health troubles. She suffers from a slipped disc in her back, which requires her to use a doggy wheelchair to get around since she can’t use her rear legs.
The pooch doesn’t let her disability hold her back. She’s often running around, swimming, playing with her toys and her fellow furry friends in the videos shared on social media. The Instagram star is also quite stylish, usually wearing cute outfits and colorful sunglasses in her adorable photos. And like any popular pooch, she’s got a cute gang of furry friends, including, Blossom, Olive and fellow Instagram sensation, Maxx Mercedes.
One of Wendy and Yogi’s owners is a firefighter in California, and they often give him shoutouts on Instagram to thank him for the work that he does to help other people in need. The pair of pooches stopped by the firehouse in September 2017 for a quick visit with their human dad. “Me and my sister Yogi surprised daddy at the fire station today! ,” the family captioned a video of their sweet dogs. “He’s been working a lot and we know he misses us so we decided to swing by to say hi and smell stuff.”
The family visited the National September 11 Memorial in New York City in September 2016 and wrote a sweet message for their dad and other firefighters: “At the 9/11 Memorial … Thank you daddy and all the firefighters out there who help people and animals like me everyday! We you.”
Wendy first joined Instagram in May 2016, and quickly gained the attention of dog lovers everywhere. Watch the clip above to see Happy Wendy Girl in action.

Looks like the tables have turned on day time talk show host Wendy Williams who wasn’t ready for it all.
During her show, BETreports that Williams who’s usually doing the gossip and celebrity bash sessions got some shade thrown her way by guest Roseanne Barr. Barr came on the show to promote the return of the 1980’s show Roseanne.
Williams began drilling Barr about her ex-husband, Tom Arnold, who was recently asked by The Hollywood Reporter to give a review of her shows comeback. Williams wanted to know if they were in a good place to which Barr answered no because of the review.
Of course, that wasn’t enough for Williams who kept on digging about their marriage even when Barr tried to change the subject. Fed up Barr landed a big one on Williams when she said, “I don’t like talking about husbands, right Wendy.”
Definitely implying about the craziness that Williams experienced in her own marriage recently. Rumors are still high of her husband Kevin Hunter cheating on her with his therapist. Williams’ face told it all; she was completely caught off guard and tried to regain her focus.
Wendy Williams recently took a three-week hiatus from her morning talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, to focus on her health as she battled Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism complications. The New Jersey native recently opened up about her health issues …

Kylie has maintained a low profile since rumors began swirling she’s pregnant. Kris Jenner has not given Kylie the green light to confirm or deny the reports, as the family thrives and profits from the media attention.
Meanwhile, Williams believes that Jenner is keeping a low profile because she and Scott have called it quits — a break-up caused by her rumored pregnancy.
“Please, that was a split and run, in my mind. Like, the condom split, she took the test and was probably like, ‘Oh my god, what do I do now? Travis!’ He’s like, ‘No, I’m a rock star. You got plenty of money on your own, figure it out … I’ll pay child support from afar’, Williams said.
Williams also took a jab at Jenner’s cosmetic surgery.
“Let me tell you something, you can do whatever you want to yourself, but the baby is still going to look like the old you – just saying.”
Jenner is said to be devastated by Wendy’s comments.
“Kylie is traumatized over the whole situation,” a source close to the Kardashian-Jenner family tells HollywoodLife.com. “I’m not sure what upset her more, the comment about Travis not wanting her anymore or the stuff about her baby’s face.” Wendy’s words really hit home for Kylie, as the insider says the young star “was bullied in school.” Luckily, Kylie has a great support system of family and friends to comfort her when she’s down.
Big sister Kim Kardashian is also livid by what Wendy said, according to the family’s tipster.
“Kim has been comforting Kylie by reminding her of all the mean things Wendy’s even said about her, like the time she predicted that her and Kanye were going to be over right after North was born,” the source reveals,” adding, “That was almost five years ago and now they’re about to welcome their third child.”
On a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Moore told her co-stars that her marriage is in trouble because her husband is living in New York while she remains in Atlanta. She also revealed that Daly is a private person and doesn’t want his personal life invaded by the media and Bravo’s cameras.
Wendy took advantage of Moore’s emotional moment by criticizing the ‘RHOA’ star for not having a real marriage.
“You live in Atlanta, your man lives in Brooklyn,” Williams stated. “If you want to have a real marriage, you have to be in the same town, in the same house, in the same bed.”
Williams doesn’t believe Moore is actually married and she thinks producers should kick Kenya off the show since she faking the funk and can’t handle the pressure.
Meanwhile, Radar reports that Wendy continues to deal with her own marital woes. Her husband, Kevin Hunter, was recently accused of cheating with a massage therapist named Sharina Hudson.
Although Williams hasn’t commented on Kevin’s alleged infidelity, an insider claims that she’s going through an identity crisis in the wake of her husband’s affair.
Meanwhile, industry insiders continue to whisper that Williams and her husband are going to be milking this fake storyline about the fake mistress for a while because they have a lucrative deal with Daily Mail and it’s spinoff TV news show to continue this storyline at least until the beginning of next year.
Who was watching Wendy Williams on Halloween and gasped when she took a tumble? Although we were all relieved to see her be the trooper we know her to be and come back and finish the show—here are some important takeaways to consider.
First off, we love you, Wendy. We know the show must go on but please take care of yourself.
Although I am not a part of Wendy’s healthcare team and don’t know her medical history, as a veteran advanced practice nurse and someone who has spent most of my career in critical care and now the emergency room—my first impression was OMG, is Wendy having a stroke? And many other people thought the same thing and here’s why …
We love Wendy and wish her well but just like the American Heart and Stroke Association, I want people to think F.A.S.T
F – Face.Ask the person to smile to look for facial droop or asymmetry.
A – Arm. Ask the person to hold their arms out. Does one arm drift downward?
S – Speech. Ask the person to say a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
T – Time. If anyone displays these or other signs of stroke, call 911 immediately.
This is important because time is tissue. The more time that passes without treatment the more brain tissue is injured and increases the possibility of permanent damage. Strokes can present differently in people and we can’t predict their severity so the best thing is to call 911 and get medical attention.
So let’s be clear—I’m NOT diagnosing Wendy. And let’s be honest – EVERYONE who was watching was worried about what was happening and many people watching (even non-health professionals) had the same concerns that she was having a stroke because …
F – She had facial asymmetry. When you compared her eyes—the right side of her face stayed the same while the left was exaggerated in response.
A – Although no one asked her to hold her arms out for drift. We know she had muscle weakness because she stumbled, raised one arm higher than the other when reaching for her head and ultimately was so weak she collapsed.
S – Her speech was slurred. She was talking just fine and then it changed. Instead of saying “our first guest” it came out as “our fursst caress.”
T – Time! The show went dark for a second but she came back to finish. Deep down I was hoping she was going to take the time off to get medical attention. We all would have understood.
When someone presents to the ED with symptoms of a stroke – health professionals work quickly as if it were a stroke until proven otherwise. And the reason is that we want to rule out the most serious cause FIRST. And then once a stroke is ruled out we can look into other things like being overheated, having low blood sugar, exhaustion, etc. If a stroke is identified right away there are timely interventions we can perform within a specific time frame. We look at presenting symptoms and confirm them with CT scans, MRIs, blood tests, and a more detailed physical and neurological assessment. There is also an important clot buster medication called TPA we can give within a 3-hour (sometimes 4.5- hour) window of symptom onset if it is, in fact, a stroke caused by a blood clot.
And for those who use the term mini-stroke because symptoms resolve, those are called TIAs (transient ischemic attacks). The risk factors and symptoms are similar to strokes, and symptoms resolve on their own but they are red flags that a person may have a stroke in the future. For more information about strokes and TIAs, please visit stroke.org.
Could it truly have been that Wendy was overheated in her costume (aka heat stroke)? Absolutely! But only her doctor would be able to clearly say that and after a medical work-up and further assessment. But even if you’ve been overheated in the past and pass out—that’s not healthy for you. And it also doesn’t make you exempt from having a stroke in the future so don’t always dismiss changes in your health to minor things.
The takeaway message here for people is: don’t just assume. If anyone presents with signs that could possibly be a stroke, please call 911. Act like their life depends on it. You’d want someone to act on your behalf if it were you. Your life and health are too important to dismiss unexplained health issues. Dehydration and overheating are real but wouldn’t you want to know for sure that you weren’t having a stroke? And if it was a stroke, wouldn’t you want to get to a hospital early enough so you could receive stroke saving medications and therapy? And even if it weren’t a stroke, you can rest assured of that and begin to work on whatever the cause was and work on preventing it from happening again. Listen to your body.

“First of all. I was trending all day. Fabulous!” Williams, 53, said to thunderous applause. “A lot of people thought it was a joke. Me fainting on my set. You know I don’t want to fall. I’m a tall woman and it’s a long way down. I’m also a woman of a particular age and I’m not trying to break anything. I don’t stunts and jokes for you.”
As Williams detailed, the snafu happened 48 minutes into the show. She was wearing a Statue of Liberty costume and was being prepped by producers for the last segment of “The Wendy Williams Show.”
“I felt it as she was talking to me,” she added. “And all I could hear is ‘blah, blah, blah.’ And all I’m thinking is, ‘Wendy oh my gosh… I’m like alright Wendy. At least you’re wearing flats. I’m holding on to this [podium] and there’s only 12 more minutes of the show. You can do it girl!’”
She described being overtaken by a “hot” and “dizzy” feeling, adding, “The costume got hot. Right before passing out I felt like I was in the middle of a campfire.”
She continued, with tears in her eyes, “It was scary. Scary! It was really scary. All of I could think of though in the middle of scare, ‘Don’t pull the podium over on you because that’ll make for worse.’”
Williams also addressed online commenters who suggested she suffered a stroke or heart attack. “No, I had neither,” she said.
EMTs soon arrived backstage where she was evaluated. “The paramedics are in my office and they hooked me up to every EKG situation,” she said. “I was low on hydrogen — you know the water. Not just any water, electrolytes.” Her blood pressure and heart rate checked out fine, nor does she suffer any bumps, bruises or aches from her fall.
After being hydrated, Williams left for Jersey, but not before stopping off to greet more than 200 fans and paparazzi waiting to catch a glimpse.
Wendy Williams reportedly shook up things behind the scenes at her daily show, allegedly firing members of her staff who she believed leaked cheating rumors about her husband, Kevin Hunter.
It all came to head when an explosive report alleged Hunter, who is also Williams’ manager, was carrying on a long-term relationship with a 32-year-old massage therapist named Sarina Hudson. The report also stated that Williams not only knew about the affair, but willingly shared her husband with Hudson.
Williams and Hunter have been married since 2007 and share a 17-year-old son named Kevin Jr.
Days later, Williams used her talk show to clear up the story while proudly sporting her large diamond wedding ring.
An undisclosed source told entertainment blog The Jasmine Brand that Williams felt betrayed after the story leaked and immediately investigated where the story originated.
“She fired anyone who was connected to the story because it was not only fake, but it showed how disloyal they were to her. She can’t trust someone who would do that to her. She fired a number of her staff, including some producers,” the source said.
Williams is apparently unbothered by the rumor and will continue to stand by her man, the source states.

In preparation for her eponymous show’s upcoming 9th season starting tomorrow, September 18, Wendy Williams spoke to the media at her set in New York City to dish primarily about what to expect from the show.
Before you ask, yes, you best believe she was asked about those vacation snaps of her in a bikini on a beach in Barbados. And of course she had no problem at all discussing the issue. But first, what up with Season 9 of The Wendy Williams Show?
“The set is still the same. The seat covers are still the same. My ‘Hot Topics’ setup is still the same. It’s the same!” the 53-year-old host responded.
“But, I’m changing every year, because every year I feel more free and not tethered to this show. If you watch, you watch—I’m grateful. You don’t? Eh! I’m going home. I’m pulling my blinds up and going home. I am not as suffocated by my career as I used to feel.”
The show debuted in 2008, since then, Williams’ life “has moved in so many different ways,” she added. “That makes a looser lip. The looser I feel about myself, the more comfortable I am.”
Williams promised Season 9 will feature “more invisible cigarettes, more inappropriate questions and more ridiculousness, ’cause that is the Wendy Williams way.”
Oh yeah, here’s also this special somethin’ somethin’ from the mind of Wendy. She’s kicking off Season 9 in a big way — by lighting up the Empire State Building.
“I chose pink and purple, they literally gave me the color palettes to choose from.”
OK, now that we got that out-of-the-way, let’s talk about that vacay and those pics that everybody is speaking on. When asked how it went, she deadpanned:
“I don’t know. You tell me.”
C’mon Wendy, kill the fake indignation and cut to the chase. You know what the deal is.
“I’ve seen online people trying to diss my bikini body,” she said. “I got it goin’ on, honey! My belly is tight.”
In another interview she spoke about her assets or lack thereof. Of her figure, Williams notes she has “perky boobs and a flat belly, and if I got no behind, I can buy one like the rest of you all.”
“I don’t want front and back,” she adds of her body. “Like, I’m done with that. So, you know, I have a flat behind. I talk about it all the time. I’m shaped like a capital P… I can joke about myself before you ever joke with me.”
She said her and husband, Kevin Hunter, go on a “lovers’ holiday” at least twice a year. That means leaving their 17-year-old son at home.
“It’s just the two of us,” Williams explained. “We were there for seven days.”
Even with Hurricane Irma wreaking havoc nearby, Williams said it was sunny every day.
“I felt so guilty! Oh, my gosh! Oh, the guilt of it all!” she said. “I’m watching TV and seeing the hurricane. My parents live in Miami. My sister and my brother and their families live in Miami. They’re driving and sheltering and scattering around, and I’m lying on the beach [smoking my invisible cigarettes].”
So much shade might damage someone with thinner skin, but Wendy seemed positively unbothered in her response to bodyshamers. But Wendy seems to have just chalked it up to the nature of showbiz, and she even poked a little fun at herself. Besides, she’s been blasted about her beach pics before.
In a video she posted today on Instagram, Wendy can be seen floating around in the waters of Barbados and enjoying her surroundings.
“If you’re gonna live in a glass house…I’ll see you Monday and oh yes, I will talk about my beach body,” she wrote. “P.S. I never go in the water without a few floatation devices.”
It’s clear that Wendy has heard the remarks about her body and she’s got some thoughts about, but she’s not interrupting her time off to address the matter.
