Jordyn Woods’ sit down with her family friend Jada Pinkett Smith to explain her side of the story in the Tristan Thompson/Khloe Kardashian scandal was must see content.

So much so that the interview broke records on the day of its release. According to Variety, it is now Facebook Watch’s most-watched original episode ever in that time frame. Within twenty-four hours “Jordyn Woods Shares The Truth,” had been viewed by 7.6 million Facebook users for at least 60 seconds. (Facebook counts a view as any video that has been watched for at least three seconds.)

As we reported, in the video Woods denied sleeping with Thompson, flirting with him or maintaining some of long-term secret relationship with Thompson, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Khloe Kardashian and father of her child. During the interview, Woods did admit that Thompson kissed her as she left his house. But she said he initiated it and she left immediately after.

The story appeared to involve all the elements of a good story love, betrayal and scandal as Wood and Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian’s sister.

But in her interview, Woods made it clear that she was not the reason Tristan and Khloe’s relationship didn’t work out .

In addition to this interview, Pinkett-Smith’s “Red Table Talk,” is consistently one of Facebook Watch’s most-viewed shows. The show which features Pinkett-Smith, daughter Willow Smith and mother/grandmother Adrienne Banefield Jones.

Westbrook Studios, the content company owned by the Smiths and Miguel Melendez, is also adding “Will Smith’s Bucket List” to its roster.

Opinion: Jordyn Woods was smart to handle her Kardashian drama with the help of another famous family

Opinion: Jordyn Woods was smart to handle her Kardashian drama with the help of another famous family

Author Michael Arceneaux discusses Jordyn Woods appearance on Red Table Talk  following the Tristan Thompson cheating allegations, and exactly how Woods beat the Kardashians at their own game.

Jordyn Woods was savvy as hell to enlist the help of Jada Pinkett Smith, essentially her play auntie, to deal with the controversy around her alleged some-sort-of-romantic-relationship with Tristan Thompson, the basketball player more known for cheating on Khloe Kardashian even after impregnating her. Whenever someone falls out of good graces with the Kardashians, select media outlets curiously start reporting all sorts of bad information about that person. Next, their lil’ friends who desperately cling to the celebrity-adjacent status they’ve netted from their Kardashian affiliation proceed to publicly pounce on that person. The end result is that ex-friend becoming something of a pariah.

See the fate of select former employees, Blac Chyna, and the artist formerly known as Kris Humphries, among others. The same thing was beginning to happen to Jordyn Woods. She not only had to move out of her BFF Kylie Jenner’s home, but she was officially on “Don’t bring her ass over to my house” status with the entire family. And naturally, the stories started pouring out of E! and Page Six, followed by keyboard thugging from the oh-so-happy-to-be-here friends of the Kardashians—roles now filled by Malika Haqq and Larsa Pippen. Why are those women in their 30s and 40s arguing with a barely twenty-something?

In any event, that sort of plan could work on Tokyo Toni’s daughter. But as they’re surely learning now, it won’t work on someone considered an extended family member of the Smith family.

Woods appeared on Jada’s Facebook series, Red Table Talk, on March 1st to share her side of the story. And if Woods wasn’t already very much aware of how the Kardashian family plays it, Will Smith certainly was. Will knows Woods through her late father who worked as a sound engineer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and he has only made one previous appearance on Red Table Talk. Knowing that he isn’t a regular guest, I laughed like hell when he FaceTimed into the show and dispelled the following advice to Woods:

“Take your medicine and tell your truth,” Will said. “This is a part of what growing up is…this world is not gonna break you. We won’t allow it.”

That is a very slick, Hollywood professional way of saying, “I’m not about to let that family play you.”

Smith did say something curious, though. When he said, “I watched you become a woman and I saw that one day we’d be here,” I interpreted that as, “I warned you about them.” After Will finished, it got even better because Jada did not let her off the hook.

“There’s a family that feels betrayed by you,” Jada explained. She made Jordyn recount exactly what happened and acknowledge how it impacted peoples’ lives, and then pushed her to offer real contrition. I am so into Jada Pinkett Smith interview style, which is a mixture of concerned auntie and 1980s Barbara Walters or Oprah Winfrey.

And while some complained about it online, Jada was right to note that, as a Black woman, Jordyn Woods will experience far more harassment online no matter what. Not only is that unfair, it is hypocritical. Jordyn Woods was wrong, but it’s not like select Kardashian sisters haven’t been accused of similar behavior in their romantic lives.

Jordyn still might have been acting like the villain of many an R&B ballad, but her Red Table Talk chat was the best confessional performance I’ve seen since me right before a mass in 1998. Still, Khloé Kardashian remains unimpressed.

Khloé, I understand that you’re hurting and you have every right to be, but uh, have you met you? You’re celebrating Tristan for addressing the situation privately when your family has sold its privacy for a decades-long reality show? Keeping Up With The Kardashians is probably already rushing an episode tied around this drama, but you know, sure, okay.

With all due respect, Tristan Thompson has been a thot so no one can break up a home where a man already has his penis out the door the majority of the time. Khloé’s mission to malign Jordyn backfired, and I won’t link to any of the tweets mocking Khloé for her statement, but ouch. She is getting dragged up and down Cardi B’s internet, bless her heart. I hope Kris Jenner takes Khloé’s phone away, and I hope that family leaves Jordyn Woods alone.

I don’t condone what Woods did, but as she explains it, her behavior wasn’t actually as bad as first reported. She deserved to have her say and protect her image from being permanently tainted. Not only did she get to have her say with an A-list family who commands attention, she did so on a platform with s a much wider reach than the reality show that launched the Kardashians into fame. Jordyn Woods’ episode of Red Table Talk netted more than 6 million views in three hours.

In pursuit of overcoming her thot tale, she beat them at their own game with slicked back hair, subtle makeup, and some A-list friends. My hero.

Jordyn Woods Shares Her Truth On Red Table Talk [WATCH]

“Take your medicine and tell your truth.”

Jordyn Woods‘s family ties are more than just being a best friend to Kylie Jenner. Before she was even born, her father and Will Smith became friends as he worked on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In the wake of the scandal that occurred between her, Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian, Woods made her first public appearing speaking out about the saga on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk show on Facebook Watch.

On What Happened That Night:

“Tristan was there at the party, he was doing his own thing. Normal LA culture is, go to the bar, go to the club … you go to someones house after. The group of girls I was with, they said we’re going to Tristan’s house after. I said, ‘Cool, I’m glad it’s his house rather than a random stranger.’ We pull in, not once was I aware of anyone’s phone or anything, I don’t have anything to hide. I have no clue who told them to take away phones. We’re all dancing and drinking and enjoying our time … I’m not thinking that I shouldn’t be here. That’s my first step where I went wrong. I didn’t think, ‘How would I feel if somebody I knew was hanging at my ex’s house or the father of my child’s house?” I should have gone home after the party.

The night’s going on and never once was I making out with him, sitting all over him, giving him a lap dance. Never once did we leave a public area, go to a bedroom or go to the bathroom. I want people to stand up and be accountable but I don’t want anyone to feel what I’m feeling right now. I didn’t have my arm around him but my legs were laying right over him. He didn’t try to make a move on me or take me to any room.”

On What Happened The Next Morning:

“I allowed myself to be there and I wasn’t belligerently drunk to a blackout moment. I was drunk, I was not tipsy but I was not beyond the point of recollection. But, on the way out … he did kiss me. No passion, no nothing, he just kissed me. A kiss on the lips. But no making out, no kiss with tongue. I didn’t know how to feel! I was like, ‘That didn’t just happen.’ And I got in the car and I was like, ‘No, that didn’t happen.’”

Talking To Khloe And Kylie:

“I told them I was there, and I told them that there were girls there but they weren’t all over him or he wasn’t trying to get with them. I wasn’t honest about everything that had taken place. I know I was trying to protect Khloe’s heart. She doesn’t deserve this either. I’m no home wrecker, I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone I love. I’m not trying to steal someone’s man, I don’t need your situation.”

On Whether Or Not She’s The Reason Tristan And Khloe Aren’t Together:

“I know I’m not the reason they broke up. I never slept with him, and never will I. There’s been no communication with him, no relationship prior to this. No plans of meeting up. No conversation, nothing.”

On Being Bullied:

“The crazy things is the arms that I thought would be around me are nowhere to be found. The first few days after this, I couldn’t look at my phone. Every day it’s a new headline, a new person wishing death upon me or telling me, ‘Your father deserved to die.’ I may have done something wrong but I don’t think I ever did something to deserve this. If I were a weak person, I would probably have hurt myself. Everyone’s safety is now … my brother can’t got to work, my sister, she’s 12, she can’t even go to school. My mom, she can’t go to work. I’m not here to play the victim, I’m here to take responsibility.”

Khloé Kardashian BLASTS Jordyn Woods for ‘Lying’ During ‘Red Table Talk’: ‘You ARE the Reason My Family Broke Up’

Khloé Kardashian must have just finished watching Jordyn Woods on ‘Red Table Talk’ like the rest of us because she just took to social media to BLAST Jordyn’s account of what happened the night she allegedly hooked up with Tristan Thompson.

In just one tweet, Khloé questioned why Jordyn never called to apologize and accused Jordyn of breaking up her family.

Yikes.

Will Jordyn Woods Spill Kardashian Tea On ‘Red Table Talk?’

Jordyn Woods wasn’t skunk drunk when she did the nasty with NBAer Tristan Thompson, Khloe K’s baby daddy. Yep, that’s her new story and she’s sticking with it when she sits down with Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk tomorrow on Facebook Watch.

According to sources with knowledge of the taping, longtime Kylie Jenner BFF Woods has no excuse for what she did that resulted in pissing off the Kardashians and getting her booted out their empire. (Oh, well.) She will admit that she was totally lucid when she and Tristan got down.

Here’s more via TMZ:

As we reported, Jordyn felt her life was destroyed by the fallout — from being thrown out of Kylie’s guesthouse to being blackballed in future Kardashian business ventures — but we’re told after she let it all out on Jada’s Facebook show, she felt a lot better about her future.

TMZ broke the story … Jordyn chose to tell her story to Jada because of her deep ties to the Smith family. She especially felt comfortable with Jada, whom Jordyn believes is extremely nonjudgmental.

As we previously reported — our sources say Jordyn initially told friends she was drunk when she hooked up with Tristan, but we’re told her version to Jada is without excuses.

Meanwhile, if you’re wondering why she went to Jada, it’s because of two things …

She feels life is ruined because she’s no match when it comes to the wrath of the Kardashians … so she went to Jada because she felt she’d get a fair shake to tell her story ’cause she’s also afraid the Kardashians, especially Kim, will try to break her in every way — professionally, socially and monetarily.

Jordyn is like family to the Smiths … she calls Will her uncle. She feels Jada is one of the most nonjudgmental people she knows, and she has a huge platform on the Red Table Talk Facebook show.

Keep in mind that Miss Woods signed a non-disclosure agreement with the Kardashians who will definitely be watching. If she says the wrong thing about them, she could be toast, legally.

Jordyn Woods Could Violate Her Kardashian NDA By Talking at The Red Table

Yesterday, we reported about the video Jordyn Woods shared on her Instagram stories. It featured her striding to a red table made famous by Jada Pinkett Smith and her family on their Facebook Watch show “Red Table Talk.” The show is known for having honest conversations and dialogue and so the assumption is that Woods would be sharing a bit of her own truth with the Smith family, with whom she shares a close relationship.

While we’re all interested to see what she has to say, there’s also a chance that it might not be as messy as people want.

According to TMZ, Woods has signed a non disclosure agreement (NDA) with the Kardashian family. Sources familiar with the agreement told TMZ, that the document prohibits Jordyn from disclosing details about the family, specifically Kris and Kylie Jenner and Kim and Khloe Kardashian.

According to The Blast, the agreement came from production for the show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and bars Woods from publicly sharing “inner workings of the family.”

If she doest violate the agreement, sources say that it could cost Woods 7 figures. The Blast reports that any public comments made about the family have to be approved by production, especially if the comments could involve a potential storyline.

So needless to say, Woods’ decision to appear to sit down on “Red Table Talk,” caught the family by surprise. The Blast claims that Kris Jenner is not happy about it.

According to The Blast, the show will air on Friday.

We’ll be watching—along with a few other people, I’m sure.

Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s Best Friend, Allegedly Caught Making Out With Tristian Thompson

The Internet is reeling after reports emerged that model Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend, was caught cheating with NBA star Tristian Thompson.

Thompson shares a daughter with Khloe Kardashian, who is Kylie Jenner’s older sister.

According to TMZ, Thompson and Woods were caught canoodling at a house party in Los Angeles. Witnesses tell the site that the Cavs player and Woods were all over each other making out in front of guests.

The rumors were seemingly confirmed when website Hollywood Unlocked posted the story, and Khloe and her best friend Malika commented under the post.

Khloe reportedly immediately broke things off with her baby daddy. Khloe & Tristian have been estranged since Tristian was caught with another woman in October of 2017 while Khloe was in her third trimester of pregnancy with their child.

The 27-year-old, 6’9 power forward was caught motorboating a woman at a Hookah Lounge in Washington D.C. at the time. The video footage emerged just days after Khloe gave birth. He was also spotted entering a hotel with a woman at a NYC hotel after a game.

Khloe was previously married to Lamar Odom, a Laker star whose career descended into shambles because of his addictions. Khloe believed she found love after heartache when she and Tristian linked up in August of 2016.

“He wants to have, like, five or six kids with me, and that’s lovely,” she said on her family’s show Keeping Up With The Kardashians  “We could start at one and then grow from there. But now, knowing I’m on birth control, it’s really scary. It’s like a really big step,” she optimistically gushed at the time.
